Best Rising Poems
Blue moon rising
on a stormy night
I sit sobbing
without you
Sadness,
when we fell out of love
The point of no return,
drifting apart
You broke my heart,
my fragile heart
Now you're gone,
I'm missing you
Guess it's over
Tell me why
Whispers on the wind
Words:
disappointment
dejection
disillusioned
rejection
A true tragic tale
heartbreak
loneliness,
sad eyes
a single tear
Reflections
in the moment
precious moments
carry me away...
The scent of your soul
breath of love
shadows from the past
personal memories
After the rain
I will survive
letting go
Spring is coming soon
a new beginning
inner peace

Treasure from the sea
Golden doubloon
Sixteenth Century artifact
By ancestors hewn
Earth’s history lays buried
Beneath five oceans
As undersea tremors
Create violent commotions
Freeing from Spanish galleons
Precious metals, gemstones
To greet early beachcombers
History on loan
Memories of bygone ages
Scattered on the sand
Finally kissed by sun again
While in a searcher’s hand
I pursue this morning trek
With Atlantis on my mind
Seeking proof at last
In treasures I might find
When ancient civilizations
Seem to disappear
Comb the beach, you might find
The evidence is here
For like a phoenix rising
New finds appear each day
And I’ll not stop searching
Till doubts I can allay
I take for granted all that I can do
Thinking that what I have has all been earned
Instead I should be so thankful to You
A spirit of pride is one that is learned
I start to believe the things that are said
Thinking that what I have has all been earned
Within my heart I begin to be led
Rising within the pages of Your Word
I start to believe the things that are said
I learn to fly on the wings of a bird
Here is where I learn the ways of Freedom
Rising within the pages of Your Word
I no longer doubt your Kingdom will come
Without your Love I will never know Peace
Here is where I learn the ways of Freedom
Within the Heavens praises never cease
Without Your Love I will never know Peace
I take for granted all that I can do
Instead I should be so thankful to you

Red moon rising, a globe ruby, an opulent theme,
A scarlet smile, a sight tranquil, a heavenly dream,
Weaves fabric of passions deep, as desires gleam,
Notions-romantic, undulating joy on stellar stream.
Hues iridescent paint a canvas of chromatic skies
Luring gazes, inflaming fervor of enamored eyes,
Glued to vision, intimate pleas of hearts surmise,
Inscribing crimson, where motifs moonstruck rise.
Embracing red moon, heartbeats rhapsodic tiptoe,
Caressing adoration of emotive eventide aglow,
Where, breezing affection, zephyrs amatory blow,
Whispering sweet-nothings, secrets fervent bestow.
As rhythms of our heart, lyrics of our soul rhyme,
Avowing pledges revered, through the song of time,
Reciting words divine, replaying promises sublime,
Under the red moon, we laud, bliss of love in prime.
Across celestial beauty, as impulses-angelic scroll,
Hypnotizing minds, captivating essence of soul,
A red moon tantalizing, O, sensuously we extol,
Weaving fabric of passions fantasies moonlit cajole.
Oh for pity's sake put some clothes on,
the bracing air will steal your breath..
and I need you to stand and stay strong.
Cold comfort thrills from your chill touch
help me recall why I adore you so...
A chin of the ages rests on my shoulder in sweet affection,
two arms encircle my world in every direction.
Redtail hawk riding a thermal looks down..
what caught its gaze I wonder..
Will the day lend a hand through a pestering cloud,
or roll its eyes in thunder?
Such a fine firebrand you've stoked,
as I shave my face and call your bluff.,
Wishing the once would last forever..
though once was more than enough.
rising from out of this cold frozen wasteland—
a blanket white unfolds with pure hope and love
melting snowflakes on such a clear blue ocean
lying on the edge of a world that’s very scared
while inside this mindset unfolds a radiant light
sun shining buttercup of such special rare beauty
in every little thing and precious detail which ever
so sweetly draws me to you my love, my darling
even the sound of your soft voice echoes on
inside with such mellifluous golden whispers
sweetly enhancing the very music you sing
to me which plays magic tricks so enchanting
and hypnotizing my very soul while stealing
my heart away and bringing me under your
spell and the softness of your wonder and love
both so overwhelming and intoxicating so fully
with this our mutual joy and love so deep and
so rare makes our time together seem so endless
my love for you are so special and so right that I
must pinch myself at times to see if all this is real
and so, rising from out of this cold frozen wasteland—
our mutual spirits, souls, and emotions are now ONE
my very special enchantress since fate and love has
put us ONE on the edge of a world that’s very scared

'Twas the time of Summer solstice, they wed
Verdant leaves clung to trees; the month was June
Whispered troths of love, sacred vows were said
'fore fauna, rising sun and waning moon
Prince Largent was soon to be crowned as king
but Mekram, the wise, held grief in his eyes
He smiled with joy when Asha wore the ring
Though death neared, he feigned a joyous disguise
Bodies joined, celestial and human
Festive auguries 'pon the forest floor
Skies aflame, trees canopied with lumen
Their world glows today, and forevermore
'Twas said to be just an immortal tale
but in June, astral light gleams in the vale
Once again without my lover;
a cold moon is soon to be
For this I have some tension and
anxiety...
If only then I knew
that here would be a twist,
For once there was and now because...
gazing at the mist.
The moon will keep on rising,
stiff my bones become.
This weeping soul; I loved that troll,
freeze sets in; I'm numb.
Will huddle to the morning,
alone I'm here and older.
From the bites of nippy nights,
feeling so much colder.
Be still, retrace eternal grace-
the nights of making love.
So I stir with me you were...
the man unworthy of.
Thus it will keep rising,
as memories return.
Once the cold is bitter,
maybe then I'll learn.
Dear it haunts me truely,
my first, my very last.
The moon it spun- the damage done;
lost love from in the past.
Understanding a mere branding,
revising such disguising.
Never knew I'd be so blue from this
cold moon rising.
You loved me very much,
whilst laying in my bed.
For the day- I'll be OK,
now think you must be dead.
Here it did so take me-
again a night of gloom.
For me was cold- the love you told
reminiscence of thee ruin.
Somehow I must escape this;
to break the loop of woe.
For heavy is the burden,
due to weight I tow.
So looking at the future,
marriage- he's devising.
Will he miss the past of bliss,
through a cold moon rising...

Spring's First Morn, Promise Of Those Rising Seeds
When seeking beauty, 'tis the rose I choose
Its flaming reds, 'oft love and truth infuse
And so reminds fine poetry of Keats
Or delicious taste of chocolate sweets
Yet dawn's sweet awakening Shelley sings
That flowers are the purest Heart of Spring!
But mind cries out, what of the yellow rose
Can it dance in the image that you chose
Shout out its songs, as does a meadow lark
Express its glory- vanquish the deep dark
Will aura of soft rose thy heart imbue
That beauty and truth spirit 'oft renews?
When Spring's waking heart, radiant truth shows
Dare we ignore majesty of the rose
And awakening, its beauty inspires
Blossoming spark that sets anew love's fires
How such sights sears into ones heart and mind
Essence of Life and a soul true and kind?
Spring's first morn, promise of those rising seeds
Joy of flowers that a soul often needs
Wafting aromatic smell, sunlit rose
So pleases the eyes, delights eager nose
Inspiring beauty in its soft splendor
Sings of Love and Kisses sweet and tender!

Red Moon Rising
A beat of my heart skips
When I hear of the event lunar eclipse
Blood moon illuminating Earth’s umbras
Dust and darkness overwhelming auras
Yellow and orange glows hindrance in its surface
Blood moon rising show us the angel’s purpose.
How Gods anger shall reign upon arrival of
The spiritual war that shall come from above.
Death and Hades followed by the Source,
An omen with tales of riding a pale horse.
Ashes blind first with an advent purple haze.
Drunk on a crimson moon in the end of days.
A beat of my heart skips
When I hear of the event lunar eclipse
rising spear of light
splits the heart of a closed sky
out tumble the stars
I will not be held down
I rise from the pit of ignorance
No longer silent
Stronger than you
I am what you fear
No longer will I be denied
Give me my education
Each day I will come to your door
Knocking till you answer
My time is now
You will not ignore me
I will be heard
I stand with my sisters
An immovable force
This is my time
You may shoot me
Place your foot upon my neck
Yet I will scream
Calling out for justice
I will not stop
My sisters will lift me up
I will spit in your face
My life is not yours to decide
Do not consider this veil as a sign of my weakness
It represents your own
You are no longer my master
Open the school doors
Welcome in all the children
We will be your strength
In the end you will thank us
You will praise God for wisdom
You will gain strength
The winds of change are good
If all are not free you live as a jailor
Brothers are coming to our rescue
Do not be found among the guilty
It is time for change
The time is now

Rising
I climb towards the pinnacle of my mind
Slipping on my inconsistancies
Grabbing at the edges of my understandings
Afraid to look down
For fear I will fall into my abyss
My feet hold fast
Pushing me upwards
Extending my reach to the next crevice
My brain’s intricate folds
Jagged memories
This words I hold onto
They slow my ascent
My not good enoughs
My cannots
My I've always been this way
Here I am hanging upside down
Telling myself
I'm tired
I can't hold on
It's okay to let go
But wait
I grasp
I reach for the I can
Until I pull myself to solid ground
I stand upon my finite understanding
Now I realize I was never alone
Ropes of hope had held me in place
Over the landscape of my life my eyes trace
Seeing clearly my yesterday
Each step that led to today
All the people that helped me find my way
I realize I have not come to the end of me
My landscape is ever changing
I flap my wings and rise above my mountain
My possibilities are endless
For now my mind is free
In the distance
Eternity
Time is not insurmountable.
This new Black Moon near Hallowe’en
Marks the darkest night we have seen.
A time to carve a pumpkin head
To make a lantern for the dead.
Bonfires lit burn bright tonight,
At gravesites we'll leave candle light
To honor spirits of our dead.
We'll go door-to-door to be fed.
Should they deign to turn us away,
A scary Samhain trick we'll play.
But little kids that ask for treats
Will have their baggies filled with sweets.
Frightful costumes will scare away
The evil spirits who might prey.
Witches known to tempest the sky
Along with large bats flying high,
Are privy to an instant spell
Summoned up from the mouth of hell.
Trick-or-treaters please be aware
Of evil forces everywhere.
If you're lost in Sleepy Hollow,
Please don't expect that I will follow.
I'll let my black cat out to roam,
But I'll stay warm and safe at home!

*Black moon
The term black moon refers to an additional new moon that appears in a month or in a season. It may also refer to the absence of a full moon or of a new moon in a month. One use of the term is for the occurrence of a second new moon in a calendar month. This is analogous to the by-month definition of a blue moon as the second full moon in a month. February is too short for a second new moon to occur. This event occurs about every 29 months.
Last Black Moon until 2019 to rise over Eastern Hemisphere on Halloween weekend
