In His Bed

In his bed she lies in wait.
For when he returns he will surely sate.
The time in the shower was just a tease.
No time to savor.....no time to please.

In his bed she envisions how he looked lathered in soap.
The smile he gave her when she went for a grope.
His mouth seeking hers for and amazing kiss.
The mounting pleasure..... turning quickly to bliss.

In his bed she tingles from head to toe.
From wanting him so bad, but he had to go.
An hour of yearning will seem like forever.
A blush reddens her cheeks as she imagines them together.

In his bed her fingers start to roam.
Finding her pleasure points, she lets out a groan.
For it's his lips and hands that she craves with desire.
Just the thought of his touch makes her perspire.

In his bed she anticipates his welcoming return.
Full of alluring charm that will certainly make her insides churn.
The smell and taste of him will awaken each and every sense.
Driving her to the brink of desire, each time getting more intense.

In his bed she hears him call out her name.
"Oh Darling........I'm going to drive you insane!"
The quivering begins for she knows he is right.
There will be no sleep 'in his bed' on this particular night.

When all of youth flees
and even the whitest eye reddens, rheums,
words, fair words, dispel the gloom.
When hands are mapped with age and knurled,
still, they transform the page, the eye, the cage,
for where words flow, the mind goes,
to the pristine smiles and
the smooth curves which once were
yours, your cheek, your neck, your hip.
Deny me anything but the word
for it’s magic will soon be all that remains
of fleeting youth.

"Fragments and crumbs of life, all the little pieces"

                                           John Ruskin, 1853

A scrap of sleep, a lopsided sky
A slip of verse that wandered by

The universe of a minute, an hour's lag
A poem scribbled on the back of a paper bag

Fragmented lyrics of lost words
Coaxed into song by hummingbirds

Where sapphire moons rise at noon
And ivory dawn reddens too soon

But for lonely love of poetry
Cast aside by conformity

Cloistered, salted tears consumed the sea
Drenched in magnanimous misery

Masking shy scars to look the same
Calling pain by prettier names

Peeled pages from the diary
Of the once and future me.

Inferno Love

The butterflies in my soul
They ignite my eyes.
I'm breathless
Yet I feel so alive.
The scorching embers, oh how they burn
But yet they feel so polite,
As if a searing reminder
That I'll be alright.
I couldn't resist the fiery urge
As I left this, ice cold world..
The hot coals became my host
And lava errupted through my veins.
I just couldn't quit gazing
At the flickering flames..
The last piece of me, to decay, was my hand
Oh how I forgot, how my fingers could bend
I thought as I was waving myself goodbye
To ever being human again
Ashes, ashes, were all I could see
As I saw myself falling
And as I really listened
I could still hear my heart calling
Becoming a faint echo
Confined to the shadows of my flames
Banished, never to be re-kindled again
Don't come to close
Or we shall ignite, dear human
I would combust and I'd eat you alive.
Be aware, you must know
That I, well..
I'm a devouring inferno.
My heat reddens your face
While the reflection of my ashes
Dance like a wildfire in your eyes.
The temptation leaves your thoughts up in smoke,
But you kept coming closer
I, flaring up with every word you spoke.
 Come closer, closer..
 I let my flames spew.
What happened to me
Is why I'd like to set the fire to you
How the flames burn brighter
With not one, but two..
Your blood is heating up, come closer
Enticing you in burning red
I will light the fire inside your head
And I wouldn't even need to dig your grave
You could choose to entrap
Yourself with me
And be forever ablazed
Ashes dancing in the fire pit
Comforting you with their warm glow
But trust me it's an abyss
In which you wouldn't dare, want to go.
Fellow lost soul, like I
We've wandered there before
Now forever to entice, just one more
Come closer..
The shadow calls out a warning heed
 Beware all, beware indeed
One flair, two flair
You must look away!
Don't hold a gaze
Into the burning dead flames.

The Rose

O beaker of blood
Enticing red cabarnet
Blood of the saints
Tears of the brave
Baptised in the river
Her artereous rush
Now pumping in my veins
Reddens my lips
Whispers Thy Name
Rose of Sharon
I cry to my Maker
I am so little
Make me a little like Thee

Premium Member listen To The Wind

Listen to the wind:
it roars, it murmurs,
righteously chants --
In gusty breaths, exhales, rants,
tempestuously pants.
             In tyrants it wails --
             tearing sleeves
             and billowing sails.
It reddens, it pales
the ruddy faces of non compliant seamen
and blithering, pompous beached whales.

Perhaps this poem, too hastily sown
Should have read the rules
before breeze and blown
and not so far from the guidelines would
this pen have wont to roam. But in hindsight,
wind stirs in many out of main focus ways
blossoms beyond bordered-grid of a well centered garden
in orphaned airs, for some, yet, may glisten their sways --

Ballroom Delights

With an earnest smile he asks me to dance
He is as nervous as I, I can judge by his stance
He glides me the floor and we began to prance
His distinctive manly smell puts me into a trance

His hand encircles my waist as our feet take flight
My breath sharply quickens, is my corset tied to tight
I fit perfectly his arms despite differences in height
I know my life will be forever changed this very night

Our hands clasped together, his eyes locked with mine
Electric shocks felt everywhere, definitely a tell-tale sign
"I love your teal blue dress", he says, "you look divine"
"And your lips fascinate me they are the color of wine"

"Thank you kind sir", a sudden blush reddens my face
With a grin he twirls and dips me with amazing grace
He reaches for my hair tie and releases it from the lace
"Your undeniably beauty madam truly lights up this place"

I smile for I know that he is equally smitten and sincere
We dance through the night, just wanting to stay near
He whispers, "I want to dance with you forever my dear"
Undoubtedly I know we'll be dancing like this year after year

Lost Love

Since morning I’m calling you, no answer!
Who’s the hell that has kept you busy, indifferent?
How could you forget to wish me damn lover?
The roses are drying up waiting for you, nonchalant!
Please pick up the phone, you damn betrayer,
At least you could act of remembering this day, pretender!

Putting on your once gifted gown
I’m watching the clock again and again
You ought to come by this time
I’m bored, feeling fully dejected!
I can still remember, you used to meet me
After office, just at seven without fail
Those days have gone, now we’re married
The love rose dries up without your care
I’m the only part that remained the similar.

Gardening whole day, I make roses bloom
You go to office, I remained home alone
I send you daily lunch box, packed with roses
The thorns daily reddens me, none to care, or notice
At night when you try to make pokerfaced love
I feel pain on my aching, blooded finger.

Have you ever noticed my black circled eyes?
When you are done, you snuffle soundly
My haunted love keeps me awaken
In the morning you’re always at a rush
The whole day passes by waiting….

The dusk moon rises always but you, only at fortnight
While returning home, you stop by at friends’ bar
Ignoring someone is waiting at home, with dinner
At midnight you return home concluding all energy
Bare, emotionless and adopting a robotic panache.

Teke Teke a Japanese Myth

It still hurts from the cutting train
And I can’t find my bleeding legs
I hate this unbearable pain
So I pass it on to my “friends”

My blood seeps out with cold hatred
As I draw out my crimson scythe
Their slow, brutal deaths awaited
In the same way I lost my life

My victim’s eyes grow wide in fear
When I swing my starving weapon
He bleeds a single unseen tear
The cloth on his stomach reddens

Half his body slumps to the ground
And my next victim has been found

Premium Member Holiday Banking In a Support Bubble

If you are in the support bubble
You can go out not being considered trouble
Whining and dining
No worries for fining
But what happens if your relationship is declining
Could you end up behind bars due to not having the right timing?
Getting rejected holding a bottle of wine
And stuttering an embarressing first line
It is the holiday when we celebrate the banker
But what about the lonely wanker
Desperately needing an honest shot to thank her
Surely this is not the right way
Instead we are supposed to say
Welcome here, enjoy the stay
A viral infection has us under control
Our health threatened by a nasty cold
Social lives are under fire
Partying being investigated and inquired
Do not answer the RSVP bathroom flyer
It could be a trap
Sending you to a 14 day quarantine nap
In greedy tradition
Fulfill this bah humbug mission
Sitting all alone
Bitterness tone
Count the money
Saved since there is no one in life who you call honey
Arriving soon those Dickens’ ghosts
Corona they drank during last St Paddy’s toast
Telling you stay home you are not going to roast
In evil’s oven
Enjoying friendly loving
Hopefully, when the disease run its course
Vaccinating the source
We may come together
Enjoy the festive weather
When greeting the season
Peacefully reminding us there is a reason
For vanity
And humanity
Flirting underneath mistletoe candy
Good reddens to all
Enjoying community communication fall
Putting up this ugly wall
Stronger will abide by the Bobbies law
Peacefully dealing with this powerful destructive call
Eventually leading to a civil war
Terrible tension rooted in its core
Talk first
Let the social bubble burst
Introduce oneself to a stranger
Then maybe plenty rooms will be available at the warm manger

Winter of Content

As I walk along the footpath
The ice cracks under my sole
The windchill cools the ears
And reddens up my nose.

The Winter Sun looks warm
But passers by just moan
As I enjoy the freshness
And view of shining snow.

The winter solstice approaches
Means Christmas lights to come
Against the constant darkness
And smiling Christmas fun.

Coats and gloves and beanies
Keep the body warm
Prolific defence available
Protects from winter storms.

Many regret December
And it's weather that is sent
But life's just a different colour
In the winter of content.

The Cowboy Slim

Slim is lean, tall, muscled and an inarticulate mass
Of loyalty, independence, pride and downright Western class
Cocking his hat just so he lets loose with his infectious grin
Testosterone overflowing, he’s masculine up to the brim
Mumbling "Shucks" he’ll duck his head and charm the ladies
Saddle-born, he loves the horse he calls "Lazy, Nuts, and Crazy"
Slim kin drink, git drunk, cuss and dance a mean square
He kin hunt, trap, fish and if put to it outrun a riled-up bear
Slim spits, chaws, farts, smokes hand-rolled and sings off-key
He shoots, ropes, hogties, brands and whistles at cows in high C
He’s an introverted soul, painfully shy and awkward in society
The ranch boss’ only daughter says she wants to marry him
Slim and her did hanky and panky after drinking some gin
Slim’s face reddens up to his hair from his chin
Thinking it’s about time to ride out on the wind
Riding tall into the sunset he canters without a backward glance
Looking for the next ranch on open range to give him a chance
To punch a few cows, work a round-up, find a new gal to romance
A Cowboy Is, Why Bless My Soul, It's Slim.

The Herbalist

The Herbalist:-

She deals with herbs,
She collects the rarest herbs,
She creates new drugs,
She burns the weeds,
She smokes weeds,
She bedecks her bun with flowers,
She allures us with bluish ferns,
She looks beautiful in each turn!!
She is the bewitching herbalist,
She lets me inhale wildflowers,
She exhales aromatic odor,
She reddens her lips with herbal color,
She heals me within an hour,
She entices me to have rain-shower,
She believes in her power,
I worship her endeavor,
She is my broodness healer!!
Her swift fingers collect saffrons,
Heer eyes recognize the ideal rhododendrons,
She collects honey seducing the bees,
She picks reddish maple leaves.
Her grinder crushes the limes,
She marinates herbs with jasmines,
She decors her hut with cones of pines,
I love the way her chants whine!!
She applies dark kohl around her eyes,
She wears a crescent nose-pin
She applies oil on her messy fringes,
I notice the tiny tattoo on her chin;
In descent manner her ankle-bells ring.
I know it’s a temporary fling,
Still, appearance of her lover makes my world spin.
She never ceases to surprise me,
She incredibly heals me,
Her presence makes me sane every time,
Her peaceful eyes appease me.
She is the ultimate healer,
She is my worry eraser,
She is the song of sparrow,
She is the sharpest arrow,
She’s blotted all my sorrows.

Embarrassed

It hits me like a wave, churning deep within my gut.
Holding my breath as the situation sinks in.
(Climbing a stairway to heaven)
People staring, eyes peering, thinking of a way to get out
(drifting up in a cloud of smoke)
Pale face reddens as heartbeat quickens
(Flying away on invisible wings)
Running, fleeing, where can I go?
(End of the rainbow)
Dirt swallows me up, blanking my mind
(Calm, peaceful, no more worries)
Frozen in awkwardness, palm to my forehead
Stuck in reality.
