In a world bejeweled
with tainted trinkets,
and feigned flowers,
we follow the
wailing waves below
whirling wind,
like secluded silhouettes,
stranded on the
cusp of chaos,
unable to find the sparkling
streak of hyacinth hope-
between dusk and dawn.

Perhaps there is a
reason why I stopped
rewriting runes with
cashmere conclusions,
as I’ve long been
dreaming of dahlias,
on weathered willows,
oblivious to the
dancing rays
of rising sun swiftly
cascading like
caramel confetti.

I am like the
sleepless ocean,
letting the
fleeting phases
of bewitching moon
lure floating sapphires;
pushing and pulling
my insomniac tides
with turquoise triggers,
as the inner-child
continues to sail
through tumultuous seas,
healing from
the trauma I’ve been fed,
concocted with
raspberry ruins,
from silver spoons,
on dulcet trays.

I’ve tasted poison
in the fruitiest of cocktails,
although the flavors
of life remain
a mystery within a fickle
game of chess,
incomplete
   and unattainable.

I search for a sanctuary
where peace lilies sprout,
beneath the eclipsed horizon,
blindfolding my third eye,
as I waltz through astral
spheres to reach
an elysian dimension.
Amidst unanswered questions
hanging like
unsolvable equations,
for all that I’ve believed
was but a myth concealed
in illusory amulets,
bruising my inner psyche,
preventing me
from seeing beyond.

Yet the morning sky
convinces me to
reconsider and realign,
as the whimsical breeze
whispers in a soft cadence:
the Universe is infinite,
so am I.
This pink granite
heart is as vast as
the spring-hills with
deepest of falls,
prevailing traces of
my silenced voice.

And when mauve clouds
kissed my frail fingers,
I remembered how stars
do not need our touch,
to unravel fate laced in
citrine dust,
Like how I breathe-
lavender love,
within me,
leaving no blood
in my veins but poetry-
flowing as the poem
of pearlescent tomorrows,
through thin
sangria streams,
in daisy dialects.

So who am I~
but a mere dot on a
       faceless canvas,
an echo of your rosy rhymes,
an incomplete verse with
complex metaphors,
weaving woes in
    sunflower silence..

Raspberry Kisses

Silent kisses throughout the air.
Just like the wild raspberry affair.

Nowhere to know how,
Can they be found!
Now they are here,
Only to me you appear,
Fragrantly simple and sweet,
From your head to your feet,

Melts-in-your-mouth, easy to eat!

With an imperceptible sharp overtone,
Your lip texture finer than a rose,
A kiss, so edible it carries its own light juicy moan.

Delicious, I want to own them with an unlimited supply.
The greatest refined assortments, of every flavor of berry divine.

Delicately designed with a deep inner core,
"Cumulative kisses," wait to be explored.
Small cascading pods, contain the best forever after taste.
Exceeding saliva fills the hollow root in my cavity base.

Walking with kisses, which belong to the sun?
Your berry-fine sensation, lips of relaxation invade the method in my meditation.
The inner peace of you, lands in the most tranquil way.
My buds taste and hide this kissing quality; I won’t share nor display.

I desire this episode will full flavor ahead.
Transforming the imaginary form, from zero; till there is none.
The perfect persuasive peck of all picks.
Harvesting the ripest mental bliss only for my lips!

Berry-Mastery.
I belong to you.

Raspberry Wine

Musty antiquity
within.
Spice inside
a cauldron
of ripe reason.
Five months
unshelved
brewing boiling
now the suave coolness,
animals don’t know
how to simmer their lovebroth
like this.

Only the Titan breath, what they desired remained.

The world was dark, centralised
spherical
the centre imposed
upon her perfect
cheekbones
his horned chest
woolen jumper swollen with clues
breasts rising like meringues in a brick oven
on her lips hung her whole life
he extracted from her lips
what he knew she was
dying to give.

Ambience, randomosity, the
haze of a lantern
stage-lit movement in dust
eyes swivelled, bottles made
their pleas to be known
wise ancestral spirits

The gallery browsed.

Time stuck
between the molars.

Abandoned corner;
hazelnut liquer, pomegranate
blood and something else.
They sat on the ground

with this raspberry wine
and sipped each other
profoundly, irrevocably.
She, mineral rich
rivulets of stone-clean water,
soft aquamarine. He, present
like limestone
crumbling to a silent past,
frictitious, only lovers perch
on the cracked mantle
of reality like this,
only they hear the moment's plea
for recognition.

Premium Member Snow in the South

Jack Frost got me hustling
To clear my car of excess snow
Bare brown branches bustling
As frigid blue breeze blows

The forecast was right or wrong
As I sit in the car heating it up
On the radio red Christmas songs
Sing along makes freezing fun enough

I watch a parent play with child
Shaking tree to sprinkle white flurries
Warm eyes that twinkle as they smile
Despite chill no one really hurries

When it snows in the south
People take notice in awe gaze
Kids squeal with joy so loud
As they gather it in hands amazed

Purple panic shoppers raspberry react
Buying bread milk eggs in excess
We giggle at their inability to relax
And see snow days as God blessed

Despite the nights spent so cold
Someone who lacks winter heat
May be a poor homeless soul
Or you due to a car wreck on street

Snow in the south is a white dream
Everything seems to take it easy
Coffee tea and cocoa hot we drink
With warm hearts despite freezing

Premium Member Raspberry Roses

I shelter aside raspberry roses
when the thunderous skies speak to me

They come to me and they hold me close
hiding their thorns along the way

These roses are few yet loving
they form a happy family

I watch them play and dance
and so many times do the giggles

But the main dragon rose is my favorite
she touches my soul and comforts me

But I am not a raspberry rose
so I will never be truly accepted

However they treat me as if
I am one of their own

This is true love

Premium Member Raspberry Tea

I am addicted to raspberry tea

I prefer it to a fine French Chablis

      If alcohol it contained

         I'd stagger about half-brained

            Guzzling gallons to gratify me

Sweet Raspberry Kisses

Baby, when you’re grown
cradling your own darling babe.
Remember your days
of sweet raspberry kisses,
rhymes and twinkling lullabies.

I will remember
the sweet sound of your babble
through bubbling laughter,
your pudgy, little fingers
and wide-eyed wonder, always.

Raspberry Orange Rhapsody

Moaning gently her splendours opening wide
The grove of our joy and heavenly melodies
Sweetened rhapsody her ripened rising...
Melting their flavours flowing into my heart
Her love my love caressing her breast arching
Thighs she cries my keepers name climbing
Towards the sky velvet bows these, ecstasies
Rapturous delicious delights; quenching my thirst
Pulped pleasures lovingly guiding myself to share with..
A kiss her beauty her juices, divine; the orchard of our love.

My Raspberry

Soft edible fruits,
My love,
Time to get you fit,
Juice your fruits,
My darling
Be healthy
Squeeze,
That’s the trick
Succulently tender,
Press firmly,
Ready!
In a shake,
Fill your glass,
Rich in red flavor,
Kissing your
Palate plate,
Tenderly
Extracting,
Picking
From the bush,
Raspberries
Seriously
Extremely,
Deliciously,
Good.

Caged magnetic daydreams of lucid migration;

I’ve been there before. It’s forbidden:

Orchard carved calligraphy crisply cut -
Spiraled surface-scratched immortality
Dimly azure, aglow on videotape,
Red, blue, green. Nature’s baby grand.
An organic player-piano ceaseless
In mellow tone, perched potpourri hillside,
Plucking raspberry notes of beautiful song;
Translucent aches nestled by slippy wake
That ricochet ripples, careening whispers
Through rendezvous dreams.
Seductive susurrus, sentient, shadowy,
Teasing temptation longed to taste;
Siren’s breathiness gurgles in devilish dive,
Swooshes, swoops, swallows. Tickles.
Siren’s breathless gurgle chokes drowned lies.

But…so serene. Feather soft tranquility.

Lyrical folly forbidden. Salmon pink.

Writer’s note:
Told as a pet parakeet (while his owner listens to Radiohead’s song Videotape) whose cage is hung in the window of a cottage overlooking a stream through an orchard while the sun goes down who was a fish in a past life but, sadly, drowned due to a mental disorder which caused him to believe he was a bird and, consequently, spend all day trying to fly out of the water…until the day he refused to use his gills to breathe since, after all, birds don’t have gills.
