Ode to Chocolate :)
by Amy Swanson 12/15/2008
Deliciously inviting
Tempting to my tongue
Silky chocolate velvet
Whether milk or dark
Candy, cocoa too-
Melts in mouth
~ Mmmmm! ~
Tantalizing creamy and smooth, chocolate cheesecake layered with light and airy
peanut butter moose.
A foundation of chocolate cookie crumbs, butter, ground nuts and toffee chunks.
Mix into a luscious and tasty crust.
Savor each bite slowly...joy pure and delectable on my tongue.
Cool chocolate and nutty crunch crust is the perfect combination.
Dreamy dessert...Yum!!
For Linda-Marie's contest
raspberry ripple sundae
strawberry layered
minty chocolate topping
coconut topping
1 chocolate flake
whipped cream
wow!
how great is it ... when u feel warm chocolate creeping it self in your cold bones
sneaking to your heart playing with it's beats fabulous tones
when you feel it in your veins in a cold night
& never let you realize wrong from right
when it takes the same path with blood to your limbs
leaving some taste of it on your lips
once your tongue touch it
you wont be able to think a little bit
when it keeps creaping till you are drugged
& when it's in every cell in your blood
when it keeps you under addiction
giving you all you need of satisfaction
but when you stop eating ,returning to land of reality
hardly realizing the force of gravity
then you feel in your mouth something tasty like chocolate mixed with milk
can't be anything but cadbury dairy milk
Yummy, yummy in my tummy,
Tasty, tasty, twisting my tongue,
Sweet, sugary, swift and sticky.
It’s for my chocolate cake I sing this song.
Soaked with sugar, built on butter,
Veiled with vanilla, flowing with flour,
Garnished with goodies… I’m now a hunter,
Chasing my chocolate cake every hour.
Creamy, creamy, clothed with ice-cream
Within and without… containing chocolate
Tempting my tongue, for more I seldom scream;
Lingering to lick some more… I go to bed late.
For my chocolate cake I wrote this rhyme,
Wooing wet words to praise its pleasant paste,
For my chocolate cake, I’m trading my time,
To explain… extol its tempting taste.
