Premium Member As Poets Prepare Their Pens

They hide behind mountains of ignorance,
judging within a valley of selfish love.
Among weeds where flowers refuse to grow,
to the mercy of hypocrites -

only we can set them free.

As we poets prepare our pens,
in the ceremony of a new dawn,
let us flow like a million petals,
spreading peace through our fingertips,

because our hearts beat the same.

When they fire bullets at those already wounded,
let us swim within sapphire seas of serenity,
healing through the purity of compassion -

we can beat them at their own game.

As twilight signals a new dawn,
an abundance of colourful sparkles,
infiltrate silent stars, disturbing their reverie,
but the moon gazes in admiration,
as illuminations brighten horizons.

In hope of a beautiful new sunrise,
tomorow can be the first day
to strum heavenly strings,
singing lullabies of peace.

Premium Member Prepare For Rainy Days

When you realize it, nothing is funny.
Not every day in the business world is sunny.
Stormy weather comes when the barometer falls.
There can be gale force winds to knock down walls.
For days like this, stash some cash away.
Have money available for a rainy day.

Prepare For War

Please let me leave this
paradise
Let me speak to him once
more
The one who I'd do anything
for
The one who holds my heart

This alchemy of sin
Will never go unpurged
Get ready to burn
Lilith you are my mark
Prepare for War
Demon whore

Anubis, my heart is mine
My love's revenge I will find
It's Time for war
I understand now
You are my mark
Lilith reach for your armor
Prepare For war

I will meet my body again
I'll rip out every nail in my
coffin
I don't care if it's God I Offend

You've destroyed my love
You've destroyed me
You've destroyed my heart's
holder
Lilith you are my mark
Prepare for war
Demon whore

Anubis, my heart is mine
My love's revenge I will find
It's Time for war
I understand now
You are my mark
Lilith reach for your armor
Prepare For war

Only if I could let him know
This curse, this demon
Will not be our doom

Anubis, my heart is mine
My love's revenge I will find
It's Time for war
I understand now
You are my mark
Lilith reach for your armor
Prepare For war

Premium Member Prepare For Tomorrow

Awakened I am
bright eyed
bushy tailed
eager-delighted
to live another day,
a new hope and
a new prayer
that no-one,
no-disease,
no neighbor
no jealousy
no callous driver
or scorned lover
corrupt me today
Allow me to
mend yesterday.
enjoy today,
and prepare
for tomorrow.

Premium Member Father, How Do I Prepare

When the clouds are dark
hindering my thoughts and my walk
when even at my lowest
not knowing where I'm going
Father how do I prepare?
For the end we all must surely bear

When so many storms I've seen before
when everyday I need you more and more
thinking of all the sacred hearts
I struggle to find a way to depart
to lose another special part
Father how do I prepare?
For the end we all must surely bear

When the tears have drained me unbearably so
and my mind has started to forsake me more
please walk with me, and restore the air
that life has drained over the years
Father how do I prepare?
For the end we all must surely bear

When my heart is feeling lonely
and at times, my burdens heavy
you carried my pain and guided my days
as more and more thorns my body endures
Father how do I prepare?
For the end we all must surely bear

When trials and tribulations test my faith
when I closed my eyes and began to pray
it is you who took hold to comfort my soul
I ask you father within me
Father how do I prepare?
For the end we all must surely bear.

Prepare For Winter

Winter arrives upon the wind,
bringing arctic climate to mind.

Flora loses petals and leaves;
fauna secures food from thieves.

Nature reminds what’s to be done,
before Jack Frost begins his fun.

I should take these lessons in hand,
even if the actions are bland.

Soon, I need to seal my window,
before I freeze to my pillow.

I’m totally transfixed
I hold my breath
Tiny fledgling spreads its wings

Twittering parents are watching anxiously
will baby bird fly
I’m totally transfixed

My neighbour’s cat
Is prowling, ready to pounce
I hold my breath

Mother squawks loudly
Danger is now averted
Tiny fledgling spreads its wings

Prepare For Battle

It is time for me to write
about the pending fight.
It will be such a sight,
an afternoon delight.

For one has seen the knight,
Who fights for all things right.
A single Hawk takes flight,
Soaring like a kite.

So you should seek the light,
and veer away from night.
The things that end in spite,
Are no teller of our might.

As the hawk hits the height,
A shadow causing fright.
Warns us of our plight,
Our life is too contrite.

The demon burns so bright,
and enters the match-site.
A sight that'd make you bite,
and clench your hands up tight.

They fought and did excite
The fans who weren't polite,
The knight it was his rite
of passage home tonight.

Prepare My Grave

Alone I can’t do
Mutually we can
Me and you real friends
Me and you not enemy
But my friend know
Prepare my grave

I saw you very far I swore to follow your way
My father forbade my choice
My mother and all my clan
Lamented Mkude you gona die!

My heart refused their will
My hears denied to snoop
And my tongue spoke to them
That never shall we break up
So my friend know prepare my grave

Dig the grave deep
For death will follow soon
Choose a good coffin
Put my body in
Don’t forget the cross
A sign of God’s people
Place doesn't matter
Wherever plunk me
So my friend know
Train my grave

Prepare the Dream

It is time I prepare my dream of a child
Stop and think a little while
And don’t let anyone discourage me
From becoming what I want to be

My dreams are achieve if I keep my mind set
And others opinion I quickly forget
Believe in myself though others may doubt
Having confidence though others may pout

My dreams will finally come to past
Because I had confidence in myself at last
A positive word and a direct aim
Is all it took to prepare my dream?

Prepare My Heart

Verse 1
A movie taught me my calling
fiction brought angels thru cinema
climax's rise by acts falling
confusion's release thru a spiritual enema

Banging sounds can hurt the ear
its music carousing the purpose of pain
composing strength spawned by your fear
loud mad pestering aches essemble the sane

Chorus
Now, my greatest wish is for my best
to be what it takes to really try
for my strongest effort to manifest
life of what holds me back won't die

Verse 2
Now, its very clear what I need to do
but many long pauses formed hesitation
the wavering breeds delay of all new
fathering the burden of action's frustration

annuling growth, thus increasing the wait
patterns discouragement, casting doubt
of my ability to answer my fate
so I get lazy and begin to cop out

Chorus
Now, my greatest wish is for my best
to be what it takes to really try
for my strongest effort to manifest
life of what holds me back won't die

Reprise
I see how you try I know
champions reap what only training will sow
I won't cultivate how I need to grow
I won't prepare my heart for the go

Verse 3
Im lleft to my prayer to be willing
I feel the peace of God as he gives me strength
to activate self with His filling
to live my dreams and survive wait's length

Prepare Your Selves

All the poets,
back to God,
the creator of the world,
heaven and the sun.

Fire is coming,
any time, any day!
but it needs us all,
to change the way
we behave.

It's difficult to accept,
but preparing our hearts,
it's something great,
and useful in the world.

All my friends,
including Carol Brown,
this is good news,
and a reward from God,
that helps the wise,
to over come the world.

Tell all the poets,
including sister Rose,
Amanda and Santiago,
that perishing it's bad,
and really a curse!

We can't harvest the world,
instead to harvest us,
day and night,
and others end in hell.

Oh! i beg all the world,
including our mums,
the pagans and believers,
to fight very hard,
to win satan's name,
the enemy of man,
from Adam and Eve.

Premium Member Ready To Die, Prepare To Live

The road to heaven is before us
It is not difficult to find
It is enshrined in the word of God
Jesus is the way, the truth and life
And so we should not be frightened where we are going to
He is with us
If we put our trust in Him death becomes a comma and not a period
It is a debt that awaits all mortals
It is a path all mortals must thread
Because it is strewn with fear and trepidation
Man keeps wishing it away
Man must live every day as if it were his last
If we are prepared to die
Then we are prepared to live
Cause dying young or old does not matter
What matters is the grace to live hereafter
A good man may die young yet be satisfied with living
A wicked man is not satisfied even with long life
If we are ready to die, then we are ready to live!
