Best Nature Spiritual Poems
The worldliness within the sphere
reflecting morning light,
as poignant as a single tear
idea bright is crystal clear
and frames the heavens in her sight
though soft the fall through night.
Settled 'pon a leaf flirtation
awakens dreamy mist,
sow the sweetest need sensation
clings a kiss in wild elation,
and though short-lived the earthy tryst
a reason to exist.
But rendezvous a bitter binge
though gentle loves cajole,
for soon the feel of daystar’s singe
O lifting dew from leafy fringe
no matter of the kiss they stole
the cosmos in her soul.
Deep the tender-hearted flower
whose muse elusive dew,
look how she shines this golden hour
evanescence is her power
as rays do make such moments few
alas, the mourners coo.

At day's end, I take in the last light
seeping into the dark waters
across the bay and keep it here.
I gather the sound of departing gulls
smudged on the sky, the quietening
settle of birds in the cypress trees
along the foreshore, the giggle
of a child high on a swing
being pushed by a mothers hand.
I hold here the gentle sweep
of waves soaking into wet sand,
the slow roll of seaweed, bubbles
bursting around shells, wings
low over the water.
I draw in the evening and keep
it close with its lights
sprinkled around the edges
of the headland,
emerging stars hung soundless
in the heavens, the blinking
passage of a southbound airplane
heading into a long night.
From somewhere, the smell
of honeysuckle spilling
into the waiting air.
I make my way home, filled
with all that I have taken in,
having little space left over
to fit myself.
I see the wrinkles in your suntanned brow,
You carried burdens then; you see them now.
You’ve heard the cries your people who in pain,
Have shed their tears two hundred years like rain.
Your sad brown eyes, reflecting now the sky
I see the wings of eagles flying by
Beside you stands an Appaloosa mare
Her spirit one with you now over there.
You hear the drums, they bid you to come near,
Your spirit drawn the beats they ring so clear.
Song like prayers are chanted through the night,
Calling you come, and help them end their plight.
You’ve heard sad cries and now stand at their side,
You join the prayers with both arms open wide,
United spirits sing until the dawn,
When in the fire’s flames a golden fawn.
Remembering a smile crosses your face,
When tribes were one with Mother Nature’s grace.
The lakes and streams flowing with waters clear,
Flow sadly now, the planet lives in fear.
The weightless feathers that adorn your head
Your tribes grey future weighed you down instead.
Now breathing deep you smell the winds of change
While here on earth your people rearrange.

Intelligent Design
When there is evidence of intelligence,
there is an intelligent mind
From an intelligent mind comes thought
and purposeful design
Everything we see has been made,
has a purpose for it's existence
An intelligent mind accepts it
without any resistance.
Who is there who would say
a beautiful house had no maker?
That a wedding cake had no purpose
and there was no baker?
An automobile needs a designer,
engineer and an assembly line
A watch needs a watchmaker to exist,
to mark the passing time.
Why is it then with so much
evidence of design in nature
That an intelligent mind cannot comprehend
that we too have a maker?

I wander in the nature’s green, trees in rows the birds preen
Like a gem glimmers the morning dew, with a precious diamond’s hue
And flowers bloom as I gaze anew, eggs hatch to welcome lives in queue
I can smell the wondrous earth, the distant flow of water in mirth
It’s a new dawn another day thereof, wherein I sense his breath of love.
As I prod on the old man smiles, he delivers milk by cycling miles
Passing the farmers sweet abode, the cry of new life reaches the road
A child wails by the neighbour’s door, with a sweet candy her eyes adore
Roaming the street is a hound grown, pups trailing behind unknown
A jocund street undreamed of, wherein I sense his breath of love.
My dearest rush out sighting me afar, without whom my life is a war
The tiny tots in their cradles lie, as we sing a lullaby
This is the world I am part of, wherein I sense his breath of love.

Listen to the subtle sounds
that surround Mother Nature.
Hear a bubbling brook chuckle,
as it splashes over rocks.
Hear the drone of hummingbirds
or the songs of humpback whales.
And the sonic squeaks and clicks,
exchanged by chatty dolphins.
Hear a cicada compete
with the chirp of a cricket.
And the wailing winds whistle
within the weeping willows.
Hear the laughter of water
careening off canyon walls.
And, to hear the voice of God,
you merely need to listen.
Enchanting melodies call me to the lush green forest, the
calls of soprano birds singing to my spirit, heart, soul, blissfully.
Sweet rhapsodies enthrall me to dwell within this intoxicating forest.
Trancelike and enraptured, I fall into the emerald and the lovely wildflowers,
and the forest has a magical spell on my beauty. I dwell in this green dream.
Still, you will find with me in the lush, do not be afraid, just step into rapture.
You will find euphoria and peace, now take my hand and you will be transported . . .

to lift in light
and reach for the peach for the greater good
golden the vast sea of black-eyed Susans
merging in shine
creating

Scorching hot sun..
Sun rays omitting intense heat
The flames of fireballs ignite..
Desert air ..
So dry and still..
A cactus thrives in desert paradise..
Sands of time..
Heat soars to the sky by day..
By night the heat plummets..
Evaporates ..
Moonlight shines..
Drenched in coldness
Chilled air and a frosted moon..
Extremities exist..
Drastic changes occur..
Sands of time..
Time is constant and flowing..
Never ending..
Astronomical unlimited grains of sand in the desert..
A wonderland of vastness and abundance..
Like the grains of desert sand..
Infinity awaits us all..
As we are eternally divine..
Recently being on holiday at Strathpeffer
one day taking a countryside walk
so pleasant walking among the woods
time passed by noticing no clock
Having walked quite a fair distance
decided to turn around to walk back
then halfway along met a man
who was struggling along the track
this man stopped us with a question to ask
'Who is the greatest man in world history?'
so we said that man is Jesus Christ
no doubt at all our answer to this task
Then in midst of the conversation spoke
the purpose of earth, stars, and moon
agreeing that God did make it all
in His greatness everything by a stroke
1 Corinthians 13 speaks of perfect love
Galatians 5 tells of true spiritual fruit (vs22-24)
our walking friend clearly agreed
showing we all knew the right shoot
Then our friend posed one more Q
what does God require of His own?
justice to be done also love kindness
brings humility to walk along God's zone(Micah 6:8)
These characteristics found in holy scripture
Micah chapter six verse eight
such a blessing to meet this friend
sharing so much of God's open gate
(On holiday at Strathpeffer in the Scottish highlands last year, my wife Christine and I met a man on a country walk and this is our experience.)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires."
Galatians 5: 22-24(esv)
"He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?"
Micah 6: 8 (esv)
The tall
Weeping willow
Waves majestically
Somehow she seems to be haunted
Moaning
Maybe
She’s merely airing her branches
In the windy meadow
Being heard by
Spirits

Tarnished gray, as the doves you have scattered away
you were yelping as if the moon were your prey
Eclipsed by the sage you then vanished from eyes
disguised by the chaparral, just as clouds hide the sky
With cunning assurance, you were closing the distance
Watching me closely, no resistance between us

No one can profess to have full understanding
of the secrets existing, ......or the spirit that binds us.
Yet, we are as one, and as creatures we dwell,
upon sacred land, upon ancient tales
You've followed me closely, with caution, a friend,
I feel a new spirit, that drifts in the wind

Peaceful Waters
Peaceful waters;
flow through my mind.
Helping me;
to leave worries behind.
Peaceful waters;
stir my soul.
Taking me;
Closer to my goal.
Peaceful waters;
heal my heart.
Calming me;
While we're apart.
Peaceful waters;
where the Creator abides.
Connecting me;
As a spiritual guide.
Peaceful waters;
restoring my gleam.
Soothing my spirit;
Carrying me to dreams.

When God whispers, the sky turns blue.
Bright flowers broadcast every hue.
Mauve mountains shade green valleys deep
where dog and boy keep frisky sheep.
Brimming rivers run clear and true.
Forests beckon all creatures who
follow the path of bear and shrew.
Where willows arise tall, but weep
…when God whispers.
Birds relating the miles they flew
keenly warble their points of view
and I within my full heart keep
gratitude for all things I reap
…when God whispers.
All creation sings your praises,
Thou who angels love to praise.
Singing holy, holy, holy
round Your throne in heav’n above.
Feathered creatures of all species
worship You at each new dawn.
Joining in a joyful chorus
praising You for each new day.
Wind and rain with trees of forest
join in singing praise to You.
Leaves vibrating making music,
as the rainstorm rustles them.
Sun and moon and stars in heaven
praise You their Creator, great.
As the sun vibrates its vocals
moon and stars ascribe You praise.
Let us all as image-bearers
of the God who gives us life.
Join with all of His creation
Singing praises to our God.
Praise Him for the great salvation
purchased by His Son made flesh.
So that man redeemed and ransomed
Will one day with angels sing.
