Intelligent Design

Intelligent Design

When there is evidence of intelligence,
there is an intelligent mind
From an intelligent mind comes thought
and purposeful design

Everything we see has been made,
has a purpose for it's existence
An intelligent mind accepts it
without any resistance.

Who is there who would say
a beautiful house had no maker?
That a wedding cake had no purpose
and there was no baker?

An automobile needs a designer,
engineer and an assembly line
A watch needs a watchmaker to exist,
to mark the passing time.

Why is it then with so much
evidence of design in nature
That an intelligent mind cannot comprehend
that we too have a maker?

True... Esp. with this much complicated design, like if you only look at the network of capillaries inside a human body, you will be amazed. Great write. Thank you for sharing.

One would think that scientific discoveries would increase belief in a Creator of infinite intelligence and power: the expanse of the universe, the order of the atom, the complexity of DNA, the incredible sustainability of life on earth, the beauty and wonder that fills the soul everywhere you look. Isaac Newton sure thought so. Darwin did not. Science has been following Darwin's lead ever since he published Origin of the Species. Loved your write, John, and am saving it in my faves ~ John

You said it John, I'm heartened to know that HONEST scientists who use their thinking capacities are starting to believe in a Creator, such a shame that there is so much denigration against those who truly understand the Origin of Life and recognize their Maker. So glad for the visit and also the fave, much appreciated!

Why "an intelligent mind cannot comprehend that we too have a maker?" I have pondered this for so long. I wish I had the answer. All I can say is this- many choose to ignore the truth. Lies are more fun. I love everything about what you have written here. TRUTH wraps around every word. I wish to place this in my favorites. ~ Brandy

Thanks SO I have an automatic watch that has over 300 parts and needs an expert to assemble and yet a very prominent British evolutionist, you no doubt know of him but i won't use his name, used that analogy in his book the Blind Watchmaker to "prove" the universe and life assembled itself by blind chance over billions of years. Unbelievable!

And our design is ultra complicated and not robotic!

Thanks Kim, yes indeed even more so than a watch, I saw a documentary on automatic watches some having over 300 parts that are intricately put together, and so I was shocked when a very prominent Atheist evolutionist promoted his book called the Blind Watchmaker using that analogy to say the universe and life assembled itself over billions of years. Ridiculous!!

Sad that when man starts using his mind, he thinks himself more intelligent than the Creator, your poem is a brilliant testament to simple truths, John:)

Thanks Jo, it will be too late for some if they don't humble themselves and recognize their maker!

Wish I could answer your question, John. Belief in a Creator seems only natural, especially when you consider the other things "made" by people. Hugs, Carolyn
