Best Lush Poems
As winter twigs drift from the oak
And in between, the flakes evoke
The pulsing bid of snow's adieu,
While lilies wake from a glossed hue.
Then petals frolic in lush grace
Enhancing the aisles with rich displays;
That when at last, in twirls content
Spring bursts into full view, her scent.
Where rows of blooms parade on course
Her varnished tone flushes ashore;
And thrusting through the lustrous sky
The hums of love sweetly reply.
In all its fired intensity
She leaves me wanting for more spree;
When lips bestow a moonlit kiss
Could her July entice a sweet bliss?

A short pleasant drive through the pathway
Between the impenetrable woodlands lying untamed -
Cradled by soft wind, the scenic lush foliage I gaped at
During my recent visit to my homeland
Enriched and cheered my dreary mind;
Fresh breeze, so pure, gently tousled my hair
Giving me a feel that right then I was
Heading towards a heavenly hamlet; the
Idyllic green cover was embellished with mangoes, enormous and
Jackfruits, huge. The flowering trees with vivid blooms formed a
Kaleidoscope of colours glinting in soft sunlight after a drizzle;
Lofty trees shaped a canopy of leaves, so artistic, and glued
My eyes to its pristine rustic charming beauty:
No wonder this land is called ‘God’s Own Country’ -
Of all the beautiful places, here is Nature at Her best!
Ponds, lakes and streams were fringed with long
Queues of coconut trees, some leaning over the lakes -
Reflecting and glistening in the water below;
Shh! The soft silvery clouds and the misty hills seemed
To be engaged in a cosy-chat - so dreamy and enchanting;
Upon the luxuriant land sprawled large spindly rubber trees -
Verdurous, lined up in orderly rows - so mystic - as if
Wishing to whisper a secret in my ears. Listening to
Xylophone music from my son’s mobile, so peaceful, my mind
Yearned to glance more at Her graceful face!...as the
Zig-zag road, untiring, unfurled before my eyes, with its twists and turns.

When the orchard grows deeply lush
filling all rows with grapes
etched by dusk like a bold paintbrush,
I trace its outline’s silhouette
and rove along this patch
Where quarter moon draws a vignette
as leafage unfurl like coiled frills
showing off plump of red …
fruits ripe turned into wine on mills
nectar releasing piquant scent--
A harvest which imbues
Nature, her life- giving intent.

As I Gazed Awestruck, Thankful For Such Lush Bounty
When you directed flames- my lust anticipated
your red-lips brushed my cheek- I knew it was Fated.
Will you seek those lover's days again as oft do I,
you in mini-skirt, high black boots and gleaming eyes?
There was gentleness in your soft kiss and wet lips,
why we never slept on our overnight camping trips?
Your sexy body, loaded with heat and welcoming thighs
my mind so inflamed and your soft moaning cries!
Dawn's new lights, you uncovered in naked beauty
as I gazed awestruck, thankful for such lush bounty.
Now we gaze into lost paradise, again we lust
for fires unquenchable, once again, that loving trust.
Say, tell me, you watch for words to again meet
for love, my future vow to again lay roses at your feet!
For long nights of ecstasy and red-hot flames burning
for love's hottest fires, rekindle our youthful yearnings!

Huntress Of Forest Gems And Its Lush Greens
Huntress of forest gems and its lush greens,
That which rivals colors of peacock's preens,
Oft hidden in cool pools, and deeper glens,
Bold greens under blue skies eternal spins
Treasures seen by deep sight and lusting eyes
Beneath weeping moon and low midnight cries.
Her beauty penetrates souls of searching hearts,
Threads of depths that only Nature imparts
And garments of wealth philosophers wear,
Wisdom and history that some did share
Her sighs breathe rainbows upon earth's tables
wanton desires and mystical fables.
In youth, I trekked into her vast holds,
Comforted by warmth, in her bountiful folds,
Hours spent wandering in her sweetest bliss,
Now dreams and loves that I so dearly miss
Nights that saw bright moon shine upon her all
Campfires and lover's dreams within her call.
Dare I pray to see her face and much more,
Diamonds in green vaults and gold dust shores,
Jewels gleaming out from sparkling long streams,
Fresh as deep love's forgiveness that redeems
Dare I beg, for her touch and its soft kiss
And her song that sends this heart its true bliss.
These visions have held my heart bold and true,
Enchantment and memories as life's glue,
Soul's needs met in illuminating greens,
Heart and mind stirred by beautiful scenes
Can Time this wealth tragically destroy
Are there cures, Nature's powers can employ?
Huntress of forest gems, vanishing greens,
Save me as you did in my troubled teens,
Walk with me around your mystery bends,
Were we not once both lovers and best friends
Return again into heart and its dreams
Save me from Time's wrath and man's evil schemes.

Light as grace is feathery-soft green trellis.
Lush canopy-charmed, sweet embellish
does embrace my eager face
while glad fingers trace
my dream leaves
space.
Perfect peace
in willows grand place
where fantasies freely race
thru splendid majesty I relish.
Light as grace is feathery-soft green trellis.
The last of first snow’s flakes are falling down.
Lush, rich heaps sparkle opal gems as crown.
Such creamy drifts of bright schemes beam with glee.
Fresh, pure, blank slates of possibilities
Sway silver-lit flakes down dancing in spree.
I long to open my front door and play,
but I am stilled by my own feet to stay;
the fun I may now have in snow frolic
versus ruined pure white, so hypnotic.
Thoughts turn to men with spades and city plows.
I determine my play be brisk and now.
In time, icicles may drip bleak onyx
And man’s snow-ways turn me melancholic,
but today I shall in this snow frolic.
the soft expanse of a forest
is warmed by breath of sunlight,
twirls of fresh aureoles ripen
into wildly combed trees,
much like gypsy- red daytime
cradling a sense of hometown innocence
if only to remember one's beginnings..
softly, i lay among a hammock of buds
etched on aisles of moist stones and rocks
and in the wisp of morning's sigh,
i turn into a garment of foliage
not knowing how the wind
can scatter my breath into grains;
to amble in a dance ...till i fall
headlong into the lush of content.

Shattered opals flash
colored prisms aground.
Iridescent light
twinkles a rich cache
atop snow's lush white.
Deep hefty snow
captivates me.
Thick cream blanket
charms earth with glee.
Shining sun,
sitting low,
prime pose shows
Winter
Opals
Glow.

"Lush Ocean"
I wade out into you
embrace the cool of you
to die a little death
immersed in the ocean
that is you, drowning
in the indigo velvet
of your copulating
embrace
red becomes you
as your waves crest
into and over me
I draw you into me
far from our other worlds
where dissonant siren voices drown

She Is Red Sunset On A Lush Meadow Hill
From far away her great light did shine
she that made the high angels cry
If in another sweet life she were mine
I'd give thanks and not ask why!
Sweet as pie, pretty as a new born pup
strong as oak with its massive roots
To see her glow one must surely look up
She that walks in sexy black boots!
Each glance sends some lusting thrill
if only man had two earthly lives
She red sunset, on a lush meadow hill
Alas, a man can not have two wives!
