Premium Member The Promise of Spring - a Fibonacci

I
Will
Kiss you
While you sleep
Lady dressed in white
And melt your cold heart made of ice

Then
You
Will rise
Liquefied
High into the sky
And fall as raindrops from God’s eyes

To
The
Waiting
Buds below
Where now you will grow
With me - in the bloom of a rose

When midnight flames flicker aesthetic reveries,
releasing ashes of rainbow petals,
upon the canvas of undressed seasons,
I delve into blue blurs of butterflies,
framed in floating colors of nostalgia,
aching for dried dyes to home this scraped heart~
hanging loose, within smoky imagery,
as if every pigment will sprout from lilies of longing.
But can memories thaw frozen zeal,
illustrating steamy sunsets with liquefied rubies,
to unveil a timeless era, retouched and restored,
from the dust of dusks composed in surrealism?

And I, the splattering of an ink-blot,
persist as a dramatized kiss of tongue-stroked silence,
like a portrait, isolated in artistic utopia,
as love is more than a metaphor that speaks to the moon;
a pastel palette textured with melted roses~
  saturated stars can interpret…

Premium Member "sacred Season"

A dream

To hear the whippoorwills' sad urgent call
I was very glad when I was a lad
But now twilight nearing new season's fall
My Essence of truth my consciousness calls

My tears being not of my former years
For sake of humans I now turn my cares
As compassion of true identity
From sacred place calls from infinity

Within unlimited aspects' of me
A great white throne in the distance I see
Around sacred bend a familiar friend
Silhouette of me as my God I see

No more desirous of earth's vain glory
The mind's wilderness of exploratory
History recedes illusions of me
My ego thoughts I just had to be

Totality of Love I see as me
Enter into God's synchronicity
I now see my God as I now see me
As sacredness of the reality

As Sacredness calls a new season's fall
Recesses the former whippoorwills' call
As new life calls I now realize it all
New life is in the Sacred Season's Fall

Mystified as I liquefied I cry
As in spirit of love quite high I fly
Above consequences life's densities
As spiritual tears replace human fears

Farside Otherworldly Lovers - - Dedicated To Rick Keeble, You Asked For It

He was howling at the moon,
it was mid June's heyday, she
was naive beyond reproach
her innocently lit chiaroscuro
made him hunger all the more,
til one day she let down her guard
'neath an impatient violaceous sky
drinking effervescently blissed wine
kissed him with rosé blushed lips

But his instincts betrayed him,
devouring the petite blossom
of her youth, teeth bared,
eyes glaring crimson, her stardust smile
no deterrent, appetite’s salacious intent,
stomach growling nocturnal desires,
claws scarring milk-paint skin
till groans released vibrations
felt ‘pon shadowed earth
shattering movements

ground-breaking momentum
sent horizons a' rocking
motioning to constellations
as they synchronously liquefied
tilting universes' on their axis
a little death's furtherance
uttering god's hallelujahs
lit beyond obscure sighs

Now two silhouettes,
midst harmonious moaning
 echo upon auras' illusions
   cresting lofty hilltops
can be seen this night and all others
when the skies turn dark
and celestial bodies' tumult
simultaneously ignite thunder,
diffusing smatterings' explicit
flight surrendered furthermost
 heart-stricken otherworldly lovers

Snowflake

Sometimes to no avail
You struggle to be different
Like snowflakes you fall
Believe you are vindicated, distinct and exclusive
With innovative design and crystallized mind
Attempting to impress everyone with the hand you have
only we all have the same cards
Razor sharp edges and frosty images
We are slush after a too many Sunday afternoon
Deteriorated with a warped spinal column and a stone-washed mentality
Liquefied by last season's snow boots and plowed to the side most of the time
Human quality is overstated and overrated
the world is far too over populated
we are all the uniform

snowflake

with carbon bonds, hydrogen and oxygen
I doubt my DNA complexity is what makes my soul mine
We are all hypocrites, benevolence is only to benefit ourselves
When you come out of the cloud your eyes are misted and your judgment’s
twisted
With age it doesn't get better only you assume you grasp what you require
But really you've been programmed and proselytized until you do not know what
you desire

We come out with different intentions and modifications but I’ll see you in the end
Still that damned snowflake condemned

Premium Member Of Birds and Lonely Men

Drab pigeons in flight, skimming over the streets
Swift, restless movement, but going nowhere
Cleaving curved wings in the hot and stagnant air
While no one takes notice of a gray day's defeat

They circle and settle, no rhyme or a plan
They perch, then depart, feathered gypsies who roam
Chasing the shadows, surveying the land
They scavenge the streets, for a place to call home

Summer that coils between cracks in the concrete
Liquefied smog brews far deep in the bone
Pigeons fly low, testing virtues of streets
Assemble in flocks, yet must forage alone

Searching at feet of the crowds who walk by
Waiting for nothing, just a crumb from the sky
  …..

Drab men walking circles, slouched over with scars
Their only companions are ghosts of defeat
With no place to go, except under the stars
They huddle in corners, as the bitter night peaks

People and traffic are pounding the beat
No one gives notice, while they travel not far
Down sidewalks, and litter, in the noise of the street
Like pigeons in circles, where home is the dark

Summer that coils between cracks in the concrete
Liquefied smog brewing deep in the bone
And gray absent eyes, testing virtues of streets
Just litter on sidewalk, where cruel winds have blown

Searching at feet of the crowds who walk by
Waiting for nothing, just a crumb from the sky

Essence of Betrayal

Betrayal, like the coldest wind that
turns to ice in your veins
That cannot be liquefied by
apologetic words or obvious guilt
It only seems to melt when we accept
that people will always do what they want
But shards always remain and the
shock still lingers in the memory
Because you never saw it coming
But now you watch for it and
although the ice has melted, the
coldness reminds you to expect it...

Premium Member Living Through An Earthquake

Oh, my years in San Francisco.
Those days when I saw the home
next door, moving..
It's walls looking like a waterfall.
Grabbing the sides on our table,
as nature scared us all.
Or taking a snooze with my daughter.
and telling her to stop shaking the bed!
Then waking her and shouting
" Earthquake!"
Not knowing what was ahead!

In those years, they were only
5.O., nothing like the Loma
Prieta which was 8.0 and did
phenomenal damage.
We humans think we are powerful.
Until the power of shaking earth
reminds us....'tis not so.
And when your floor feels like
a magic carpet ride.
Or you see a four lane highway
ripple like a soft ribbon, nearly
liquefied!

I no longer live on a major fault
line.
So the fear of an earthquake is
no longer mine.
Quite honestly, I fear freezing
temperatures far more.
Lightning scares me, tornadoes
floods, and hurricanes I abhor.

Southern California has had many
strong earthquakes.
I see the one there tonight, and
can only imagine their plight.
Before you go to bed, I request
you please, say a prayer?
For those folks, too afraid and must
sleep outdoors in this warm starlit,
California earthquake-ravaged land
tonight.

Thank you~ Panagiota

Evil Twins

Diarrhea and Constipation,
oh how I hate those two
One has you running all the time,
the other has you feeling
like a log is wedged inside of you
Those two don't do a body good:
one has you backed up,
with no waste flow
The other has you liquefied;
if you eat anything,
you're gonna have a wet backside
Lady Dia
is pure evil
Has you running back and forth
to the slop jars
She's a loose, loose lady
who loves having you run around,
trying to prevent being stained by the watery brown
Diarrhea is pure misery from the waist down
Lady Const
is pure evil too
Has your bowels locked up,
sitting on the slop jars doesn't help you
At least your hands stay clean,
but you got all that poison trapped inside of you,
so you feel the slow suffering
She's a hard, hard lady
who loves to have you always sitting down,
trying to relieve the pressure of the jammed solid brown
Constipation is pure agony from the waist down
Evil twins who love to run and block
Two bandits who love to flood the kitchen downstairs,
and keep the backdoor locked

Premium Member Drink a Slice of Sea

Go to the sea if you feel slight
On a blue draped dreamy night
When the sliver disc of the sky
Dances with the sea on the sly
Riding silent waves rising high
Reach the moon you would try
Cut slice of still sea on its side
Like the birthday cake liquefied
Drink to celebrate time you got
Someone for you has brought.

The sea would enter you serene
With a piece of moon's silver sheen
That sparkles broken on the wave
A dear birthday gift you can have
And save in your heart’s recess
The waves would drive in pulses
Blue blood in cascading arteries
And transmit harmonic melodies
To the heart that would beat in glee
With the rhythm of the dancing sea
You would invent an abode to reside
Hear songs someone singing inside
For you would be lifted above
The rolling waves silent in love.

Premium Member Dogs of War

the dogs were happy
did not have to dig deep
in bomb craters and
makeshift graves
they licked at pulverized bones
and liquefied brains
slurped up the proceeds of war
and roamed the street
sluggish and flatulent

saliva dribbled as well
from the industrial military complex
fused joy with sore fingers
from counting the money

Dmitri wondered
what had become of his folks
and where the flowers had gone
before he pegged his rag doll
to a skull bone that floated
in a sewer of lost hope

his young soul was confused
with reality and fake news
and yet his scarred mind
was never far from revenge

as he waded through carnage and destruction
he found remains of his pet
and smeared a bloody reminder
on his feverish forehead
picked up a land mine
and bode farewell to one of his arms
because the weapon exploded
never one to cease with belligerent ease

Have You Ever Gone Insane

Have you ever gone Insane?

I remember the space and time
Where my mind liquefied
in-between chains of reality
That I had originally planted within myself
The only problem was that it wasn't watered
Nor ..nourished
It grew in the shaded and jaded filtered pictures of
the Sun's dying rays that I'd labled:
"I've gone insane"

Aside from the screams and voices, bellowing against me
Like the piercing winds that I mistook for comfort
Without permission, Grabbed hold and sunk their bloody claws,
Into ol' sunken me

The blood representing, "My apologies"
I've gone insane.

AND FOR SOMEBODY AS KIND AND SO HUMBLE AS I
I'd gone insane
Uncontrollable body and mind
I couldn't let the darkness win
Not this nor, next time..
So I raged
A war inside of me so painfully scorned and seared
with tears of the demons I've silenced in order to feel
Sane.
I don't think it would've mattered if I'd caught that rare bounty
Before it manifested, Bounty-less
For I'm not a mere coin in a sunken treasure,
I am the sunken treasure chest

At Sunset

The sky is cast in Heaven’s forge
With pourings of molten sun.
Clouds rise like steam from the furnace gorge
As liquid colors start to run.

Bright yellow light is liquefied
And spills from the bubbling pot.
It illuminates the countryside
In places where the shadows are not.

The blazing orange of the burning sky
Is rimmed around with a golden band,
Like an ingot just poured and set nearby
It slowly cools over the darkening land.

The fire then dies and the furnace cools
And all the day’s labors are now complete.
At rest are God’s celestial tools
And the glowing embers at His Feet.
