I discovered
an unexpected gift
on the bluff
above the sea:
smooth stones
line a labyrinth,
someone’s loving labor.

I let the path take me
on a peaceful pilgrimage,
wend and weave my way;
my mind wanders.

I give myself
to the labyrinth,
trusting that,
eventually,
the stones will lead me
to the center
if I just
let it happen.
