silk dreams

 weave a path
 of ancient memories

leading me towards a shared destiny
with my ancestors

blessing me with visions
 they dreamt

and now I see

I've wandered through life's labyrinth alone
Not knowing love in all these empty years
A heart deprived will slowly turn to stone
Eventually you find there's no more tears

The path to happiness eludes me still
Perhaps for me 'twas never meant to be
I'll suffer through this destiny until
The fate...

When onyx skies bleed
rhinestones etched in regrets,
follow the silence;
Unsung sonatas
cradling watercolor spells
woven with magic—
from violet blaze,
beneath mulberry gloaming,
where dark poets rhyme.
But when summer rain
falls upon metal steel hearts
in cashmere cadence,
Listen to the breeze
swirling sunflower secrets
of forlorn fervor.
Amidst lavender
longings for pearlescent bliss
on glistening vines.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Labyrinth
I discovered
an unexpected gift
on the bluff
above the sea:
smooth stones
line a labyrinth,
someone’s loving labor.

I let the path take me
on a peaceful pilgrimage,
wend and weave my way;
my mind wanders.

I give myself
to the labyrinth,
trusting that,
eventually,
the stones will lead me
to the center
if I just
let it happen.

The Lady of Labyrinth
In light of locution
whispers
dance delicately off her lips
"Lux Vitae"

Tree of Life,
Trinity,
tribal councils conferred
the coffers, re-offers
enriched and enhanced
erectus
three times three

smoke rises from the ash
and anew you glow
a river of gold
connecting
the body to the soul

blue of sky
the sun of spirit's eye
beheld
in fate...

Daft-Labyrinth
Louise started walking through the hugh corn maze
the high hedges and turns the usual craze
occasionally she'd run into a dead end
but soon her labyrinth walk would be on the mend,

She felt like a detective looking for some clues
to help her get through and not be...

The Labyrinth
The labyrinth

Wrapped up in my web of lies
There is nothing I truly trust
Corrupted by what I despise
This heart has turned to dust
I am lost within myself
Trapped in this labyrinth of lies
Blind and numb to who I am
Too long I'd cower and hide
What path remains unbroken
Which...

Labyrinth of Sighs
Labyrinth of Sighs

Wondering through a labyrinth of sighs
More platitudes with attitudes that never question why
A litany of afterthoughts about where we go when we die
An emboldened range of rude retorts refuting the reasons why I cry

A canon blazing wartime over...

You will need a booby-trap map...

walking mindfully
the path
drawn with intent

wise to the journey
in rhythm
with the heartbeat

breathing in
soulful serenity
with every step

autumn breeze
at one's caress
in sync with universal life

God's Labyrinth

A game I play in a race in a maze against no ordinary race.
Where my human mind begins to raise the thoughts in box of lost and
found.
In order to see I have to open my eyes and sweep the seas.
The passion within...

Labyrinth
[Re-posted due to system error that erased it.]

I chanced upon a
swirl of smooth and
polished stones.
And treading in its
sinuous path—
pretense and guile
abandoned—
I met a
peaceful stranger,
my very self,
unsullied,
deep within the labyrinth—
the labyrinth
of my mind.

Deep in a silva of the Emerald Isle there hides a peculiar coppice,
Shaped in a spiral labyrinth which is seen only on the summer solstice.

As the sun rises to its highest of tides and the day overwhelms the night,
Those with fairy sight can find...

When my sister died, grandma said, it would be okay,
She lied, it was never okay again in my life, ever again;
And as each person I loved died, she said the same thing,
Then, when she died, no one ever said that to me ever again.

Mom died...
