With the tremulous dark vista so far and yet so near
Abandoning my defences ~ I stand in awe ~ not in fear

 Virtuoso Maestro unleash
       a Composition Grandioso
              To Overtures of a Symphony
                   herald the raging storming Tempo
                                   Staccato Strains cascading
rapid torrents of Treble and Tremolo
                    Rhythmic Beats a Prelude
to an intensifying Triple Time Scherzo

Silken sail unfurled I embrace the storm of your tempestuous symphony
Crashing~ drifting~ floating~ flowing~ tasting ~awakening my melodic epiphany

                               Effervescent chilling thrilling air as
                    Allegro whelms Allegretto
                               Electrifying sizzling Musette ~
                                         Trills a mesmeric Capriccio
                           Registers booming Bass Notes
                    rumbling within your thunderous Vibrato
    Echoing claps of thunder Prompt
                a spectacular Cadence Crescendo

I release my Spirit to gratify every phantasy in its sight
The soaring Tempest of my Soul liberates its own Philharmonic flight
Inhibitions abandoned as I succumb to your Music of the Night

Footnote:
By way of musical term allegory, I have endeavored to dramatize and romanticize the Awesomeness of an Electrical Thunderstorm and simultaneously likening it to the rush of tactual Sensual, Sexuality and Emotions experienced in romantic instances. I felt that the instrumental rendition of ‘The Phantom’ Musical, aptly accentuates the trepidation, anticipation and elating sentiments portrayed in the various elements of my poem.

Beautiful Mystery (English Sonnet)

I heard the roaring from amongst the trees
as sheeted water tumbled from up high
a place where nature lay in blissful peace
exhaling fragrant breaths that gratify
a soul that yearns for stimulative balm.
I looked in silence, daring not to move
at risk of losing empyreal calm.
Who could such wonder dare to disapprove!
Engrossed in rapture I became aware
of a nymph’s presence, by her dulcet voice.
She sang of freedom and of love to share,
but being human I had not a choice
to come into the open and declare
my heartfelt feelings to a maid so fair!

Premium Member A Mountain's Challenge

majestic he seems, staring down at me
with provocative, charcoal-cavern eyes
challenging me to forge upward
massive boulders, slippery streams and fallen trees
arduous obstacles he puts before me

shall I take his dare
perhaps ascending a few steps closer
to cerulean heaven
reach out to touch the kaleidoscope rainbow
an arc above this complex journey’s struggle
or is communing with the universal consciousness
beyond reach

will I step, slip, stumble and fall
if I climb, seeking to prove myself
finding visions of self awareness
as he urges me on
only to wonder why I see nothing but myself
in a shroud of misty gray loneliness at the peak

far easier it would be
to lay my head upon the verdant meadow’s grassy pillow
content to admire him from afar
rather than challenge myself to win his approval
gratify my ambitious nature

what satisfaction will come
if I remain complacent in my life’s lackluster station
never growing, never knowing
what might have been
if I’d listened to his provocative voice

Premium Member In Celebration of Real Men

The strength of a man is not determined
By his muscles or his brawn
It is determined by his strength
To admit when he is wrong

The wisdom of a man
Is not determined by myriad facts
It is determined by the way
That wisdom is seen in his acts

The integrity of a man
Is not determined by his claim
It is determined by the reputation
That follows around his name

The love of a man
Is not determined by mere time
It is determined by each moment
That he makes you feel sublime

The sexual prowess of a man
Is not related to his size
It’s how he satisfies your needs
And what you see there in his eyes

The chivalry of a man
Is not determined by his manhood
It is determined by how he nurtures
You to revel in womanhood

The passion of a man
Is not his need to self-gratify
It is determined by how often
He makes the effort to satisfy

The wealth of a man
Is not seen in monetary things
But by those things that are free
That to your life he brings

The age of a man
Is not seen in the age life deals
But by the strength of his heart
And how young he makes you feel

The sweetness of a man
Is not determined by what he says
But it's determined by the fact
That you want him more each day

The humour of a man
Is not determined by a hurtful tease
It’s determined by how your laugh
When his words your heart please

A man is an awesome creation
That I’m determined to venerate
As Eve’s daughter much in love
This male wonder I celebrate.

Once long ago there was a clear blue sky
Where roamed free bird and butterfly
That’s when came the idea to super citify
And to pollution creators deify
All put their brain power to diversify

Silenced anyone who dared go awry
Soon mile high skyscrapers did gratify
And every square inch did occupy
Way too many to quantify
So it was nature they did damnify

Now skies are filled with traffic jams that horrify
Greenish rain waters that relentlessly acidify
Mountain-high billboard ads that do electrify
An extravagance of gadgets enough to stupefy
Implanted technology meant to dehumanify

In light of superfluity, let me just plainly oversimplify
Scientists need to eat a big piece of humble pie
There’s just no way to justify
Why colorful sunsets went by the by
And why no one remembers the aroma of apple pie

O’ word, for my Bibliogenesis
‘My Dolly’
You are not fatherless
That I love you in the
Mouth of dear one Aesthesiogenically.
I feel you in my Parthenogenesis veins
Like an unfertilized egg
With the traffic-jammed
In my polluted blood.
I Streep teased my desire
That breathes in your mouth.
The world is made up of things-
Things do not speak but have
A language and a reason for being.
I think of the silence of
Your lips I visit to form embryo.
Make me wet with erotic desire
To gratify erotogenically
And mold you in good shape
With the vault of your mouth
So that the world around me
Can hear you in the heavens.

* In March 1996, the news of the birth of a fatherless sheep in Australia affectionately
named "Dolly" shocked the world.
The possibility that human beings could be cloned too - long the subject of jokes and
science fiction - began to awaken an inner fear. The scientific question should be
answered by human embryologists, the scientists who have the required expertise and
competency. At what point during the cloning process does a human being or human
embryo physically come into existence?
Aesthesiogenic - producing or causing a sensation
Embryogenesis - induction of sexual desire; production of arousal
Erogenesis - erogenesis a production of desire
Erotogenic - producing erotic desire or sexual gratification
Parthenogenesis - reproduction by a virgin or by means of an unfertilized egg

One Sided Love

One Sided Love...

Her dazzling saccharine smile...
Her tremendously appealing hairstyle...
Her varicoloured melodious voice...
Her serene coruscating eyes...

Oh, this excruciating one-sided love
When will it be a felicitous two-sided love?
One-sided love is sore and two-sided love is treacly
Just you know, one-sided love is not ugly

Do you have any idea how thrilling it is here?
Pretending like the sky and sea is crystal clear
While the clouds and waves are always in rage
The heart that forever remains mystery like Stonehenge

Have you slept with this atypical feeling on your face?
Being the cushy grass beneath her gentle paces
Being her true-blue shadow when she's striding lonely
Being her hyaline-like tears when she's crying sadly

Have you ever thought of the benefits?
This innocent feeling will never cease to exist
Gratify each other's desire, the end of two-sided love
Awaiting her one cherished smile, the fun of one-sided love

Wondering how to survive this thunder strikes?
There is no rose in this world without incisive spikes
For you, maybe its like a pathetic worthless war
For us, its a struggle severer than star wars

Whats a love without a forfeit?
One-sided Love is a love without deceit
You don't need to prove it with a receipt
You can always be in conceit!

Premium Member Denali National Park

Travel with me to a nature lover's dream
Denali's grandeur is the unfolding theme
Expansive vistas paint a wondrous scene
Snow covered peaks look quite so pristine.

Morning sun blushes atop gray clouds
Majestic sights gratify excited crowds
Glaciers glow upon a distant mountain range
Mesmerizing hues color changing landscape.

Butterflies roam flowers pink and yellow
Moths feasting on nectars look so mellow
Birch trees so tall, they swing with the wind
Aspen tree sings with its leaves shiny green.

Red squirrels run from trees to leap
White sheeps graze on ranges so steep
Moose and grizzly bear a sight must see
A golden eagle flies high above the trees.

Mountaineers climb soaring mountain peaks
Hiking, biking, camping is what visitors seek
Memories made here will never depart
A visit to the park will engrave your heart.

Altered State

Towers collapsed to foundations,
  The planes exploded in air,
To gratify firebrand preachers
  Destruction and death everywhere.

Bus became coffin on byway,
  Train torn up beneath ground,
Fanatics end innocent life,
  Spin godless chaos around.

Child kneels broken at graveside,
Tears drip down to the earth,
A consciousness of pure evil
Deems human life of no worth.

Enemies fester within,
  Harbour a doctrine and creed,
Under the guise of religion,
  And nurtures a virulent seed.

Enemies hidden within,
  Feral smiles, baring of teeth,
Approve of a racist agenda.
  Murder by twisted belief.

Why should we drown beneath?
  Fundamental waves of hate,
Why should we have to live
  In this an altered state?

They can go to other places
Where their twisted creed is rife,
Where martyrdom and slaughter
  Construe their way of life.

The simple, sorry factor
  The ironic doctrinaire:
The places of their genesis
  Won’t stand them living there.

Thus decent, honest people
  Are left unto their fate,
A homeland under terror
  Remains an altered state.

Dream of You

Loving your confidence, your
ambition, your drive. want to
be dominated by your power,
but not lost in your eyes. my
king ..may i be by your side,
your queen... stand against the
test of time, a unity, a
friendship, possibilities with you
seem limitless. My strength, my
rock..your protection shields
me, your touch heals me, you
are the epitimy of what I've
prayed for..other woman wish
to be me... Have the chance to
feel what I feel, be intertwined
with your body as you gently
caress mines. . Have me on a
high, body taken over by this
ecstasy that my soul can't
deny. Gratify my body, ratify
my mind, entangled in the
satisfaction of what still is yet
to come. I want to please u,
appease u, relieve you of the
daily stress. Only one thing..I
DEMAND respect and nothing
less. Respect my body, respect
my mind, be compassionate
with my heart, but don't waste
my time. I want to feel your
aggression..torture me with
passion... Claim me as your
possession. Mangled in your
bedsheets, accelerated is our
heartbeats. Anything you
want...I'll do willingly. I'll do it
all for you, just please don't
deceive. Love me, but don't lie
to me. Be a strong man, but
don't hide your feeling from
me, I will never judge, if u cry
to me, u are my man, my king,
I only wish to uplift you, live up
to what u expect from
me...your woman, your
queen..as long as we ride for
each other every bit of
happiness an longevity is in our
reach. I wait patiently for the
day when our paths do meet,
when you are more than just a
Dream to me.....

A Prayer

My prayers I offer, Lord
They are like incenses brimming heavenly casks
Might is in your words
Aided, I rivers ford
Gratify us children as we ask

A long diseased child
A mother's arms released me at your hands
Garments long defiled
That mortal men reviled
Your arms enclosed, a beautious garland

An undeserved prize
My tattered garments smother in light
Uncompensated cries
That world did but despised
You did not deem so little in your sight

For yours I am by right.

Summer Rain Storm

INCESSANT SUMMER RAIN

In morbid humid summer heat I feign, easily drain
Prospecting for a cool, crisp meandering breeze
Conceivably, nature might spill a gentle "summer rain"
A dismal cloud generates, an inkling of relief to gratify, such a tease
Now I sit in disbelief up upon my slimy unscrupulous roof
Optimistic the local church will indeed appease the pleas
Answer the call and dutifully open its doors , "Poof "
For I live in the crippled, dripping, drowning state of Texas
Where relentless rain & Lakewood megaplex turned infectious

Positioned on my slurry roof I could swear I witnessed Neptune
Eyes ablaze, he was wearing a distinct gnarly grin
Throwing damning lightening bolts and declaring a monsoon
Rooting for the pastor, during disaster, to literally sin
Incredulous Neptune didn't anticipate people together
United would take care of brother & the chthonic weather

A Partridge perched upon a tree
entices him to throw something!
When songbirds sing and flap their wings
two turtle doves, cause headache pain.
Those mocking words, thread-worn with wear.
remind him of the dollars spent.
Defeat caves in, ... the thought of debt!

He bends his head to shield his face,
and steps upon the curb, to brace
against the mob, against the throng,
against long lines in shopping malls

He watches herds with purses out,
who attack the narrow aisles and park.
Chagrins at purpose, poised, embarked
They're mad! They charge like Joans of Arc!

No one pays him time of day
He feels the sting of frostbit cheer
and leans beneath the canopy
The sales are lit, with half-price tease
and gaggled geese attack with glee!

Pure instinct guides, their goal is keen
Gifts supreme, they seek and find!
He wonders, as they claim their prize,
if what they buy, and dollars leaked
will gratify their kin, divined?

With weighty burdens in their hands
and dollars spent from sun to sun,
he waits until his wife is done.
This madness took her far away
within the glass enclosed array
of Jingle Bells and money spilled,
of trinkets, socks and Visa bills

His feet are sore, a wrinkled coat,
unruly hair,... it glistens now,
With cheeks of red, he steels his breath.
Forefathers did, before their death!

Entrenched in snow beneath his feet,
his stomach growls, he begs to quit
He watches from the window glass.
A check-out line!! She's close!!! ...... At last!!
She's almost done, her purchase won!!

She grins as if she's fetched the best!
The smile she wears, he catches fast
And makes it worth the weary quest!

Premium Member Raspberry Tea

I am addicted to raspberry tea

I prefer it to a fine French Chablis

      If alcohol it contained

         I'd stagger about half-brained

            Guzzling gallons to gratify me

Premium Member A Place To Lay My Head

Oh for a place to lay my weary head
To seek a haven from the stormy strife
With certainty to give my love and life
And know that I’m adored on sacred bed

Oh for a place to lay my body down
To disrobe of the doubts and naked lie
In opulence of love to gratify
And have true kisses for my head a crown

Oh for a place where doubt dare not appear
Where I can be the one and only dream
Where passion’s not a trickle but a stream
Where arms of love hold all that heart holds dear

I’m wearied from my search for blissful rest
My armor weights me down, my fears assail
From rended heart breaks forth lamenter’s wail
The hope of love from me the world did wrest

Give me a place upon your chest to sleep
Ensure me that your love will steadfast be
Vouch safe to me your ardent constancy
Then with your lips set seal and promise keep
