One Sided Love

One Sided Love...

Her dazzling saccharine smile...
Her tremendously appealing hairstyle...
Her varicoloured melodious voice...
Her serene coruscating eyes...

Oh, this excruciating one-sided love
When will it be a felicitous two-sided love?
One-sided love is sore and two-sided love is treacly
Just you know, one-sided love is not ugly

Do you have any idea how thrilling it is here?
Pretending like the sky and sea is crystal clear
While the clouds and waves are always in rage
The heart that forever remains mystery like Stonehenge

Have you slept with this atypical feeling on your face?
Being the cushy grass beneath her gentle paces
Being her true-blue shadow when she's striding lonely
Being her hyaline-like tears when she's crying sadly

Have you ever thought of the benefits?
This innocent feeling will never cease to exist
Gratify each other's desire, the end of two-sided love
Awaiting her one cherished smile, the fun of one-sided love

Wondering how to survive this thunder strikes?
There is no rose in this world without incisive spikes
For you, maybe its like a pathetic worthless war
For us, its a struggle severer than star wars

Whats a love without a forfeit?
One-sided Love is a love without deceit
You don't need to prove it with a receipt
You can always be in conceit!

Romeo and Juliet - a Collaboration With Annalise Brigham

I thought, love, I would never find. And then suddenly, I was spell bound
It would blow your mind! For the love I have for you is so profound
You came into my life way back when, and like magic you stole my heart
The love was universal poetry and I would follow you from the start
I would follow you to the ends of the earth; beyond the rainbow’s bend
If I die before you, I’ll rebirth! ..For you are my Juliet and I am your
Romeo!

I wasn’t looking for love, just having fun, sharing some inspiration
Never thought I’d come to love again, this was not my expectation
You say I stole your heart, well, mine got stolen too!
And yes, we did write beautiful poetry which forever stands as good
I’ll always be your angel in and out of time, because of this special bond
And should I die before you, I’ll return! For you are my Romeo and I, your
Juliet!

Will you whisk me
far away
from the only
life I've known?

Can we step
into the froth
and set sail
to a distant home?

Will we travel
light as gypsies
dancing jigs
to exotic tunes?

Can you teach
me foreign tongues
as the dawn breaks
into noon?

Will you love me
so completely
no other girl could
turn your head?

Can you promise
me fidelity
upon our
marriage bed?

Will you be my knight
and champion
and guard my heart
so true?

Can you love me
to eternity
if I say yes
to you?

Good Morning

I open my window not a worry or care
I refresh my mind with the crisp morn air
Run down the stairs to grab a quick bite
On this special day full of love and light
My love and I are about to be wed
In a few hours time to the Church we'll head
Good morning I beam, my bridesmaid appears
With a glass of champagne bubbling with tears
She takes out my veil and dress of brocade
My silver necklet and ear rings hand made
A ring at the doorbell, I rush out to peer
Good morning, good morning, my driver is here
Bouquets of flowers full of lavender scent
Button holes, presents and so much well meant
No cloud in the sky and the birds full of song
Good morning, good morning I'm singing along
A little church gleams in the snug of the hill
My groom waits inside to say"yes I will"
My whole world is filled with hope and with dreams
I walk up the isle, then he gazes and beams.

Miserable Marriage

Dint of darkness running in my blood
A Love less marriage in the pool of mud
Heathen Heart and a crying soul
Filthy promising -lies untold
Blinded by your Vampire Love
Is it something that I deserve ?
I ran for your Love and you for my money !
This hum drum game is no longer funny !
Let me depart from your ludicrous life
Stop calling me your miserable WIFE .

A lot of poets in this forum can relate themselves with this
miserable condition .

Premium Member Sun On Treetops

When the sun gently kisses horizon
Bouncing and bubbling with firey red cheeks
Signals morn on memory emblazon
While sunlight dances, my love soft lips seeks

Aroma of coffee wafts on morn's air
As the dove's quiet cooing, their love to seek
Sun on treetops has red kisses to share
Lover_ in morn's sunbeams snuggles will sneak

Delight the sun has brought; wind kisses sought
Great day_ animals rejoice; as sunbeams
Lighting, enlighting, delighting, free thought
Good mornings are filled with many daydreams

While old lovers touch blushing cheek to cheek
Nights are for sleeping ; dreams_lovers for morn
When embrace again_ under covers peek
As the sun kisses horizon love's born

Love and Destiny

Sometimes I close my eyes and smile
I try to imagine what you will look like
I try to imagine how it will feel to hold you
With my eyes closed, I see your smile
Patiently I wait. Your love is my destiny
I know that we're close. Watch for me.
Listen to every sound, especially voices
Pay attention to scent, you will smell me
Look into the eyes of strangers
You will find me. I'm already inside you
I already love you. I always have

Patience

Our love for each other has stood the test of time.
I want you to know that you are always on my mind.
They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder,
I'm loving you more and more each day, hum I wonder!
I love your expressions of how you feel about me,
You not knowing that you're all I desire see!!
Holding and loving you is what I miss.
More than anything, I miss your sensual kiss!
Always remember that I'm here for you,
Waiting on the Lord to guide us through!!!

Escapade

Hush now darling
But don’t dare to close your eyes
Our bodies are crossing
Your hips between my thighs
Our thoughts crystallize

Free your minds expressions
Feel the things you see
Motivate this session
With your wildest fantasy
Think and let it be

Let our love be our genie
We are each others wings
Our love’s magic like Houdini
On a carpet ride we sing
How our love forever rings

Hush now darling
Tonight will be the key
Look to the starling
Let imagination lead,
And hormones free

Forbidden Love

Dine a la carte
with my secret sweetheart
a half dozen roses
in differing poses
champagne glass in hand
soft notes from the band

vows ever after
sweet smiles and laughter

eyes locked in stare
romance in the air
emotions a-brew
old blending with new
eyelids a-fluttering
to whispered sweet nothings

vows ever after
sweet smiles and laughter

Love ballad dancing
and sensuous prancing
a oneness of feeling
and merging of being
open-eyed nose-meet
wings on the feet

vows ever after
sweet smiles and laughter

Instead we are pained
to outsiders chained
with emptiness fraught
our love counts for naught
mere love poems writ
twixt two lovers smit’

no vows ever after
sweet smiles or laughter

This Valentine's Day

my first love letter
           you refused it long ago....
                       a bleeding numb heart

you kept me waiting
at the closed door of your heart....
                                     an eternal wait

my last love letter
please open the door just once....
                                 this Valentine's Day

The Note

The Note
Back in the dusty toe
Of the library cove
Was where we would go
Not with any books in tow
Just the need to let love grow
With you I would lose all control

Every once and
a while we
Would leave each
other sensual love notes.

Years later I went back
After my divorce just
To satisfy my curiosity
That was about
To make me choke.

Back in the corner of the cove
In our old Grey’s Anatomy Book
Was where I saw my latest love note,

You left your name
Your email address
And you’re handsome
Picture for an
Old bloke.

My heart leaped for joy
When I saw your note.

Blame It On the Moon

A steamy summer's love transpired
When fate yelped up a sweet desire
And two hearts fell in love too fast
On a moon lit eve of the past.

The moon was full and shining bright
As I walked the beach one lonely night
And found her there beneath the palms
The goddess Luna offering alms.

We walked awhile, we talked awhile
We found we were quite versatile
As we worked the spell of a kiss
On that wonderful moon kissed tryst.

Well, that was a long time ago
Before she joined the traveling show
But, I will never forget that time
Of a lunar crazed memory sublime.

I won't say what we did that night
Out of courtesy... to be polite
I'll say this, she was quite a sight
One beautiful moon struck delight!

Special Girl

Special Girl

There is this Special Girl,
She makes my head twirl,
I’ll love her all the time,
I wish she would be mine,
I would hold her in my arms,
And show her all my charms,
I would bend over backwards for her,
If anything were to occur,
I would write her a letter,
To try and know her better,
I would give her a rose,
And then get close,
I would give her a kiss,
I know I won’t miss,
She looks like an Angel,
From any angle,
I see her in my dreams,
I think I know what that means,
When I hold her tight,
I think “Gee she’s a beautiful sight”
I would do anything to make her happy,
So I would be like by her pappy,
She has that special touch,
That’s one of the reasons I love her so much,
She’s smoother that a dove,
I know I in love,
When I’m around her I get so sigh,
If she left me I’d probably die,
So when I die,
I’ll be in the sky,
Looking down making sure she finds the right guy,
When she finds him,
He better treat her with respect,
And if he doesn’t,
I’ll send a lightning bolt to his neck,
She better get all the love in the world,
Because she’s my Special Girl,
I’m not playing games,
So I won’t name any names,
This is how my Special Girl would be treated,
And I’m not going to repeat it...

Love Affair

Silently
I smile I lick my lips as I watch him enter the cafe
He looks back at  me are eyes meet for a second that seems to stretch on forever
His crystal blue eyes entrance me
I take a sip of my latte
He hesitates but comes over
I've seen him in here before
He sits at the table across from me
Sexual desire crosses our minds
He works up the courage to talk to me
I lite up a cigarette
Is this seat taken he asks
I give him a flirtatious smile
No I reply
He sits down
I couldn't help but notice how pretty you are he says to me
I smile
What's your name love he asks
Ashley I tell him
I'm aiden he says
Do you want to get out of her I ask him
Were to he says
The stars I reply
And so our love affair begins
With a kiss that makes my whole body tingle
