I never leave home
there she rests
in the trunk
blood mixed
with that new car smell
everything is modern these days
even my jail cell
Dreaming through the night,
Until the sun shines bright.
Deep into sleep,
When your alarm clock makes a beep.
It's seven o'clock, time to start the day!
Get dressed, get ready, no time to play!
You've brushed your teeth, combed your hair,
Now, for school, in a comfy chair.
You head to the place where learning is done,
And soon exclaim, "Homeschooling is fun!"
Writing, reading, spelling, galore!
After history you shout, "For today, no more!"
But no, the day is not over yet!
It's time for fun you'll never forget.
Maybe you'll make a movie, or invent a game!
In a homeschooler's life, no day is the same.
Sadly, now, the day is done.
But to a homeschooler, the fun has just begun!
So my friend, show no sorrow,
Because there are many more fun things to do tomorrow!
A.W. Nutter
Pounding the pulpit with his fist
Sweat dripping from his brow
Preaching about Gods top ten list
The sinful Jews with their golden cow
Same old messages still in place
Pastor Jack’s patterns haven’t changed
Fear written on the altar boy’s face
A secret meeting has been arranged
Prayers end, the congregation stands
The pastor and boy move outside
Warmly shaking everyone’s hand
Wolf in sheep clothing able to hide
I casually walk across the street
Viewing the church pews now empty
The pedophile has made a quick retreat
Concealed in Satan’s, den of iniquity
Quietly, I traverse the wooden stairs
Listening at the door to the crying child
Pastor doing damage only God can repair
How many children has this demon defiled
Stepping through his unlocked door
A look of surprise from Pastor Jack
Dropping the naked child to the floor
Realizing his first sin, had come back
Quickly helping the boy get dressed
Time to end his night frights and screams
To Pastor Jack’s head my gun is pressed
The child pulls the trigger ending his dreams
His face aglow with the purity of light
From sending his tormentor to hell
Walking out of the church into the night
Brothers with a secret that we'll never tell
Painful Perspectives
Bullying in America
"About 77% of students have admitted to being the victim of of one type of bullying or another."
My stomach tightens once again
By now I know the drill
It doesn't matter what I do
Move on, scream out, stand still
My heartbeat throbbing louder now
As heavy footsteps near
My mouth, dry as a cotton ball
My shoulders hunch in fear
Suddenly, I feel the sting
My cheek turns cherry red
The smack has almost knocked me down
The pain shoots through my head
Now words so cruel they pierce my heart
I try to block the sound
My efforts useless yet again
Scars stain my soul deep down
I touch my flesh to feel it swell
My light begins to die
My head held low, I walk away
Too numb by now to cry...
"Approximately 30% of young people admit to bullying others."

For me, each morning starts the same
No feelings, just routine
Commands and orders barked my way
"Get up! Get dressed! Get clean!"
I step into the blinding sun
Yet pause before I go
Just once to hear, "I love you dear."
The door slams; I should know
The sadness that I used to feel
Has slowly turned to rage
So off to school I stomp ahead
My heart locked in a cage
Not long after I arrive
I choose my timid deer
My heavy footsteps lead the way
Toward the scent of fear
My hand hits flesh; I feel relieved
To share my hidden pain
I utter words so cruel and vile
Too numb to feel ashamed...
"It is reported that 70.6% of young people say they have seen bullying in schools."
Standing near my closest friend
I feel the tension rise
By now, I know what to expect
Not once am I surprised
My fingers tremble slightly still
As I await the scene
I fight the stinging in my eyes
Why is this world so mean?
I watch my best friend cower now
The same thing every day
I cringe for what's about to come
As predator seeks prey
My inner struggle swallows me
I long to take a stand
I fear the wrath if I intrude
Escape, I haven't planned
So helplessly I witness pain
Inflicted on my friend
I wish I had the courage to
Make the bullying end...
Pussy (Vulnerabilities)
Pussy
Men sometimes put no value to sex and the sacred decision a woman might hold dear for the reason to
Submit options of letting you indulge in her essences. See some have had men all over the world and there is one thing for
Sure that pussy has a name never a face, Mumu , myse ,kisse, pepita, catellus, passera, mita it all mean
The same thing Pussy, pussy, pussy. And the truth of the matter is your sometimes not remembered or
Even thought about once you give the pussy up!
So guard and respect your pussy and you’ll be wiser for not giving it up, I thought of all the times I
Gave up my pussy and grieving the next day he was gone, nothing but a memory of the condom he either didn’t
Or did put on! I have disrespected my body for a moment of pleasure far too valuable to get rid of, and
The 15 minutes or less or if I’m lucky an hour of pleasure soon will be forgotten as he’s on to the next one
Or back with his main love or the one whose holding out, but she worth waiting for.
Pussy is abuse sometimes tainted with the smell of semen left inside you with your naïve ass, I’m not going
Anywhere imma be here for you, trust me so the pussy stinks reeks of disappointment!
As they get dressed to leave a delicate kiss on the forehead and a polite thanks for the pussy!
Don’t be this chick (hold out on giving up the Pussy, be known for your worth)
You’re so much more than ass or pussy! I now know my worth!

You have to be selective and or practice abstinence in order to be valued ,some women get lucky and he does come back the next day ,but for how long ? Men like to chase and if you give it up too easy its a waste of time ,hes no longer interested and will soon prowl for another ! Keep it to your self till the time is right ,if he won't wait then forget about him!
Huddled over that old black radio
waiting for the final announcement
School canceled tomorrow!
Bedtime? We actually have to SLEEP?
Where am I? Is that light coming from...
No-No! Don't look out the window!
Then-how-what-when-where?
Oh me oh my, the door, the front door
Some has swept up onto the porch
And the steps, the steps!
Breathe a deep, icy breath first
Go ahead now, look on out and note
how everything is smothered,
smothered, muffled and quieted
by the blanket that covers all,
covers all but the perfect silence
Breath another deep, icy breath
Go ahead now, step on out
Step out in the yard and note
dainty, delicate bird tracks
And rabbit footprints too?
(How DARE they get here first?)
Fence posts measure how much
Wearing comical, tilted hats
Pesky sprinkles of sleet
tease and tickle my nose
Like a magical wide-awake dream,
familiar yet so unfamiliar
A brand-spanking new kingdom of white
custom recreated just for me
Oh, you BAD little boy!
Will you again tromp out and ruin
Mother Nature's picture of perfection
and forever scar this eternal moment?
Oh yes, I believe you will
Hurry! Get dressed! Now GO
My alarm clock was set to go off at eight
When I lurched out of bed oh heck I was late
Forgot to move on the clock for an hour
I was late for work – no time for a shower
I dashed to get dressed at the speed of light
My son was laughing - he could see my plight
I ran to the bathroom to clean my teeth and face
My car keys were hiding, not in their usual place
Ran to the car in my receptionist attire
To my horror I found I had a flat tyre
Got out the jack and changed the spare wheel
Jumped in the car how the tyres did squeal
Drove to the office into the parking lot
But why it was empty – oh no I forgot….
Bank holiday the first week of May
BOTHERATION was all I could say
Drove home slowly, just like a snail
Just in time to open the mail
Then I did:
The washing and ironing,
cleaning and cooking,
(had a few chocolates when no one was looking)
the weeding and hoeing,
planted some seeds that needed sowing,
washed the car and mowed the lawn
then to the hairdresser to have my hair shorn,
sat down with a book and had a cup of tea -
need a bit of time relaxation for me,
Then I
washed and dried the dishes,
cleaned out and fed the kid’s goldfishes
bathed the kids and made them a snack
got in the shower and rubbed my aching back
adjusted the alarm for the right time in the morning
crawled into bed and then started snoring
Tomorrow when I go back into work
I won’t tell them my error or I’ll look a jerk!

A high school reunion on Zoom;
Alumni all home in a room.
Each face that I’ll see
Like a stranger to me
As I will be to them, I assume.
I haven’t seen most now for years.
We’ve traveled in different spheres.
So then why should I care
What I look like or wear
To this jury of long-ago peers?
Yet, preparing before it will start
I get dressed and make-up for the part,
Though my face on the screen
Will look less like a teen
Than an image no lens can outsmart.
In the mirror, I see what I know
But the camera makes each wrinkle grow.
Still, I’m living my life –
Nana, friend, mom and wife
So my aging is quite apropos.
The possibility of making a dream come true it's what makes life interesting (Quote by Paulo Coelho)
Our elders say: one more day
to get up is one more day to enjoy.
One more day to get dressed,
to open the window
and watch the beauty around.
Another day of troubles to face,
to struggle, another big mountain to challenge.
A new page to read,
a new program to watch,
a new lesson to learn.
New steps to rehearse in the morning
for the the colossal performance at night.
A dream to fight to wake up all the senses.
Wonderful people you have to meet
makes you forget about
the wrong ones you've met.
What it is written,
sometimes can't be deleted,
but it's always a way to rectify
and start a better story.
Because I live,
I want to shout to the whole world
that I'm alive, that I want to fly.
Because I live,
I am a person that fights everyday with myself,
the monsters inside,
my concerns, my family, my friends, my job,
my what will be the next?
But I am alive,
that's much more that I can ask for.
Something that means
that I still can breath the air,
pulluted, but the one we have.
I can watch the ocean,
the sunsets and the new dawns.
Perhaps my life is not what I expected,
perhaps everything I'm living now
is not as far as I painted when I was starting.
But the years makes you go through unexpected
small roads, that one day
can become highways to run on.
Still young enough, deep inside,
to do many performances.
I choose not to act in the limelight,
but in the right stage
with the spotligh shining on me,
because I live,
and I want to be alive
for the next show to be played.
Sure, I own a denim jacket
And, of course, a bunch of jeans.
All my closets have held denim
Since the time I hit my teens.
Back in high school and in college
There was little else to wear;
Maybe corduroy or khaki’d
Show up on my derriere.
Though my wardrobe’s now more varied
(There’s no denim skirt or vest),
Jeans are still among the choices
Every day when I get dressed.
So I owe a debt to Davis*
And his partner, Levi Strauss,
For providing me with bottoms
I can match with top or blouse.

I dreamt my father came to me
From beyond the grave words spoken
He held my hand and said to me
Your life cycle has broken
Mom sent me here to fetch you
And take you home to heaven
I rejoiced and hugged my Dad
Eager to see my late folks and husband
But before I could get dressed to leave
My father had departed
Does he still wait to take me home?
Answer, Dad, I'm broken hearted
To join all my loved ones in the afterlife
Brings great joy to me, no fear
So I will sleep lightly again tonight
In hopes Dad will reappear

Time passes much too quickly
HURRY UP AND GET DRESSED:
just wait
too late
I CAN'T SLEEP:
my clock
tick tock
I DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING ANYTHING:
waste time
a crime
I'M SO BEAUTIFUL:
won't last
age fast
WE'LL BE TOGETHER FOREVER:
goodbyes
love dies

3-1-2016 . Footle Contest

Panting, running, paying, fuming,
Bumping, swearing, hurrying, driving,
All because today is the thirty first
Of the month, why are we all nigh to burst!
Got to buy groceries, go the butcher
The dry cleaners, the florist, the baker,
Did i turn on the slow cooker?
Have guests coming at 8.00p.m still
On the road, home in 15 minutes – phone Will,
Darling, Did you collect the birthday cake,
There is a big accident, traffic hectic won’t make
It to pick it up – Yes sweetheart I have
Drive carefully the roads are crazy,
Looks like a storm brewing, weather drizzly and hazy.
As I arrive in our driveway it pours with rain,
And I drop a packet, which had the red wine, I stain
My clothes and the car seat, go have your shower,
Hubby says, relax, everything is under control,
Turned shower taps to their full strength and power
Exhausted, let the water run over my naked body
Till I feel refreshed, get dressed in my
Sexy black number,
And come downstairs, hubby gives me a wolf whistle,
Just wait till the guests leave he says, look at him
From under my lashes!
The aroma wafting from the stove is
Provocatively divine!
And next to the sofa is a glass of room
Temperature red wine.
Table is set, arrange flowers I brought in a vase,
Immediately, the bell goes ding dong,
It’s Cherry and Tim,
She couldn’t wait to show me her engagement ring,
Hot on their heels are Susan and Barry,
He has just asked Susan to him marry,
And last of all my twin sister Rina, arrives she’s wise,
With her new boyfriend in tow she bellows, Hi guys!
Fun was had and wine was drunk
Laughter abounded in the lounge and dining room,
We all forgot how tired we were and
It was end of the month, and all the media forecasted,
Was doom and gloom!
It was my birthday, turning forty, no turning back now,
Don’t regret a day of my life, bless the day I took my vow,
Happy birthday dear Mary, happy Birthday to you,
I felt blest had my hubby and sister present and select
Friends but few,
Mellow and happy and with certainly no one drunk,
Just four happy couples full of zest and funk!
Our guests began departing, in twos they left,
I slipped of my shoes and gave a big yawn,
Will picked me up, and must have undressed
Me – for all I remember is waking up to a peck
On my cheek,
And a scrumptious breakfast in bed,
I always knew I had picked the right guy to wed!
Now Jake was a Dapper man
Black Stetson and great style
Ladies were afraid of him
Even with that sparkling smile
They all feared his presence
Although he looked so cool
They may have been attracted
Yet these ladies were no fools
Never look him in the eye
Best to give him a wide berth
The old men tried to warn me
For Jake life had little worth
They agreed that Jake had style
Sadly he's as mean as they come
Nothing but a smooth talker
With a solid silver gun
I watched him for a moment
Then it seems I caught his eye
Walking slowly towards me
With his gun strapped to his thigh
I wasn't seeking trouble
Still it was coming my way
I stared him straight in the eye
and said "come make my day!"
For a moment he waivered
He was used to seeing fear
Before he pulled his gun
I shot him in the ear
With that he dropped his gun
Because I drew too fast
If he made another move
It would surely be his last
Now they call him one eared Jake
He's not such a dapper man
It's much harder to get dressed
I shot some fingers off his hand
A Shadowlam production.
Brought to you by Shadow Hamilton
and Richard Lamoureux.
Thank you Shadow for Dapper Jake
and for letting me add to your story.
This was fun!
Chest tight
no light
cant fight
a blight
Tears threten to spill
I promise not to kill
I beg for you to fill
just please wait untill
I crave the past,
tears under the mask.
warmpth of a hug,
the pull of a heart string does tug.
I yearn for the old joy of lunch time,
Now I sit alone and rhyme.
ghost of a smile on my face
now for the pain I brace
Wishing I could change it
I gave up and quit.
I lost hope
I forgot to cope.
I looked to the easy path
I didnt do the math.
I was selfish
Hurting you wasn't my wish.
That is my accountability
my time to learn humility.
to learn from my choise
please hear my voice.
I love you all
my fear is my downfall.
I dont want you to hurt
so from my pain I divert
No longer will I hide,
my tears haven't dried
Im hurting
a lot
There
I said it
Im hurting really bad
I feel alone
I miss my friends
I miss my old school.
I miss not being able to stop smiling when walking into lunch with all of you.
I miss calling Josh, papa
I miss being (lovingly) teased about Langston.
I miss Savannah's smothering hugs,
I miss Sean's innocent litte jokes.
I miss Jose's silly faces (when no one is looking).
I miss the fact that "goodbye" ment see you tomarrow.
I miss Sean's hate for change.
I miss Savannah's helicopter parenting
I miss Joshe's memes
I miss Jose's stubborness.
I miss all parts of all of you.
G-d it kills me.
Every day I get up knowing I wont see you
I still reach for my school polos,
Still put my ID card in my back pocket,
then it hits me.
all at once I remeber avoiding homework
and the shame decends hand-in-hand with the emptyness.
I put the ID back and get dressed for the day,
with a heavy heart leading the way.
I paint on a happy smile,
over the sobbing lonley girl.
When my genetic authors over-exercise their vocal cords,
The smothering wieght returns.
I know.
I didnt forget
How could I?
I know that I messed up.
But I cant change the past,
No matter how hard I try.
So let me say it,
let me attempt to sum all of this up in two words.
condence my hurt into seven letters.
Express my thoughts in two syllables
I'm Sorry.
