Welcoming Gestures Bloom Throughout All

`

In the absence of complication,
trials and tribulations become distant memories.
Above sapphire skies delight sanguine eyes -
inspiring forthcoming musings of the mind.

While a tiny thread weaves daydreams
among tulips and chinaberry,
creating comfort along a beckoning horizon
as footsteps are soft and freedom a gift.

Birthing a simpler life singing, whistling and
smiling as a weight has been lifted
like an acorn to a nest where hunger
is merely a fading illusion.

Borderless curves of a winding way
meander without consequence
when nature forms a calming view and
confusion is a season somewhere in the past.

Where wide eyes see the future as a ray of light,
a beacon illuminating every hope,
signaling that this is your time and place
and you rejoice in the feeling.

And as peace becomes common
along avenues of cobblestone stories,
welcoming gestures bloom throughout all…
in the absence of complication.

Girls With Majestic Gestures

They chew gums in compacted face,
Cheek-bones lining made-up skin;
They belong to the golden race,
Of foaming coke and shriveled gin.

They stare at you like you were a slave,
All through your seven lives;
They do know how to behave,
But only with middle fingers five.

Rags cheap, faking overprice,
Skirts shorter than a Chekhov story;
They believe their tangled hair to be nice,
But blush at selfish flattery.

They have lips that throw sarcasm,
At their own starving selves;
They fall for their own dark chasms,
In deep thoughts when their brains delve.

The only knowledge they possess,
Is of others’ destination;
The only wisdom they impress,
Is of disconnected imagination.

I wonder how they ever pass,
In their examinations upstart;
They think their shoes are class,
But it’s their gray cells that’re apart.

Posing their hands as if they were fractured,
They proudly exhibit their flaws;
Girls with majestic gestures,
Usually come in cycle-rickshaws.

Premium Member Hello

HELLO

          "Hello."

"What do you mean?"

"What do you mean 'what do you mean'?"

"You said 'hello'."

           "O---kay..."

"Was it just an emotionless greeting,
For an unarranged accidental meeting?
Were expressions or gestures involved?
Was something questioned now resolved?
Did you look me soulfully in the eyes,
Or secretly undress me with your eyes?
Do you think we were here by fate, or choice?
Was there something suggestive in your voice?
Did you say hello with playful alluring guile?
Did your eyes, dimples and lips all smile?
Did your hello contain some hidden laughter,
Or suggest YOU AND ME forever after?
Was that hello, I'll see you now and then,
Or hello (goodbye!) never again?"

"I don't know. It was just hello."

"Hmmmm." I said, rubbing my chin. "Hello!"

Premium Member Sometimes I Get Confused About the Gestures At Mass

When am I supposed to Stand, Kneel, Bow Sit Etc.?
The celebration of Mass not confined to our minds
Hearts
Voices is means to involve our bodies as well
 Each gesture is significant
Has meaning.

Standing: Standing is a sign of respect and honor, so we stand when
the celebrant-representing Christ (the priest) enters and leaves. We
also stand for the Gospel, and the bishops of our country have chosen
standing as the gesture we adapt when receiving the Eucharist (the
sacred body of Christ).

Kneeling: In the early days of the Church, kneeling has been the
gesture of penance (reparation[confession]). More recently has come
to show adoration. Thus, we kneel for the Eucharistic prayer except St. Andrew Catholic Church where we stand because we have no kneelers (except in the chapel).

Sitting: We sit for the pre-Gospel readings and the homily in a gesture
of listening & meditation and during announcements after past
communion prayer

Premium Member Gestures Obscene

Guess I could be considered mainstream
By no means can I be thought of as extreme
But at times I sure wish
I could give life a twist
Walking down main street making gestures obscene

Premium Member Plastic Gestures

The trash has been removed by wind and truck, by hands
much smaller and hearts much larger than his.
The twinkling lights no longer shine on the tree
or in my eyes. Scourer of malls, hunter of treasures
magpie to the crownless king, reveling in his “just” deserts?

The cold, meaningless, plastic gesture of his disregard lay
under the barren Xmas tree, barren, as his love for me.
His treasures piled high, exquisitely dripping with each
memorized desire, truffles melting on his thoughtless tongue,
scrapbook memories litter the pointless horizon.

Soon, he would attempt to hurl three decades of subservient
gestures out, out like the small flame of love left, in the empty
space which was my heart.

Premium Member Kind Gestures

Show a gesture of warmth to all you meet
Offer each one the least- a pleasing smile!
A kind gesture can give others a new start
Geniality generates joy, creating a comfy feel

Offer each one the least- a pleasing smile
Many wallow in gnawing despair
Geniality generates joy, creating a comfy feel
Mend their hearts which need urgent repair

Many wallow in gnawing despair
Lend your ears to what they have to say
Mend their hearts which need urgent repair
When you listen, their frustration you allay

Lend your ears to what they have to say
Having no one to listen is the greatest bane
When you listen, their frustration you allay
By patiently listening, their anxieties, you slain

Having no one to listen is the greatest bane
A kind gesture can give others a new start
By patiently listening, their anxieties, you slain
Show a gesture of warmth to all you meet

Hand Gestures

Like these hand's? They've never had a voice.

But what they've had too say all these year's?!

These hand's are small, I Know.

But they're mine.Taste sweet like candy.(Lickable).

I'm just here looking for my goodtime Lolly PoP.

Quick Gestures

quick gestures
times seem subdued
though somehow not alert
moments begin to intrude
captured by phrases
never seen abrasions
mute
intentions fade as time is payed
fools wage's are waisted pages
redundant as it seems
tongue will find means
as it wrestles with the ink
gives the mind time to blink
worth in word's bakers dozen
love and blood are second cousins
just another farce
wrote just this
side of th dark

Sour Face Gestures

Sugar Cain spin speeches
coming from wrinkled, prune faces
Citrus acid tongue leeches
latching on to golden palatial places

Waxy viper lips moving in lamprey motion,
voodoo witches brew is an anaconda potion
Goodwill gestures nod seen tone sourly,
Facial expressions is wink frown candy

Let the people lick the sores of their festering fear,
never tell them why the wounds won’t heal
Sell the primetime favorite lies they so love to hear,
then see how filthy lucre low they can kneel

Reach for the fools gold at the end of the faux rainbow,
trolling for more tears from a-many larynx weary soul
Money talk always speak envy green pantomime,
sour face gestures grins an emerald enamel shine

Spirited Gestures

Cast restlessness about the wind,
That toss and empty leaves from trees,
The autumn season sees them thinned,
A tingling sense of breathing squeeze,
Be auburn reds hint golden scene,
Like royal robes and crowning queen.

Genteel polish a crystal shine,
Oblige passage involving wake,
Luster beckons whispering shrine,
A pristine call edges a lake,
Mindful ears recognize courses,
Coming wafts like thirsty horses.

Slight Boreas push chills a bit,
Zephyrus cut short, warms again,
A tit for tat that never quit,
The disturbed rest till strength regain,
Nature takes heed and nothing more,
Benumbed deep down within its core.

Relaxed lay calm felt now surrounds,
Idling base fresh breezes fill,
Perianths rise and fall on grounds,
Prompts unfailing the currents spill,
Unseen traces the length of thee,
Forces abound heaven's decree.

Premium Member Tiny Gestures

A gesture is like adding
A tiny bit of colour
On a dark and dreary day
It can take away a problem
And melts it all away!
Its those little things
We say and do
A smile, a touch,
Thank you so much
Little thoughts, little deeds
Helping someone you see in need
Raising up a spirit, or someone
Hungry that you feed
That small gesture of
Offering up your seat!
Some small gift you get
Just to let you know
That your truly appreciated
Without telling you so!
A kind word, like magic
Takes away the pain
From all those hurtful words
And leaves you with a feeling
That you matter and your heard!

Love Flowers Romantic Gestures Tender Kiss Love Eve

For if ever I was I to summon up
forthwith the words to write something
anything befitting worthy of you yourself

I fear that trite would be the only
apt way and means to describe
my bestest yet falling failing short
of effort and expectations

And can I that hasn't already been said
and spoken of you that hasn't already
been said by far better folk than I

Apart from what you are and represent
to me is everything single good thing
I have done and thought that entered
my head

So much so it wouldn't be redundant of
me to say that when it comes to love

I not you am in fact the lucky one that
love did chose to bless and render
you blind

Otherwise if you weren't why on earth
would you have ever given me a fleeting
glance second look or moment of your
time

Serendipity to my dismay for whatever
reason gave me you more than I could
ever possibly wished for ever wanted
in every way

I'm still in awe and anyone who knows
me will tell I have bored them all to
death as all I ever seen to talk about is
you

Now all that I have left to do is go to
bed say my prayers will hopefully one
day be finally answered and sleep and
dream of you

Because I have yet to meet you , you do not
exist apart from an aperture of my own
creation revolving inside my head

That sometime in the not to distant
awaits me when eventually both our
paths cross

And love no longer becomes a fairytale
but I get to wake up next to and find
out what it actually feels like to experience

What it is to be loved and love and
reciprocate that love to a certain
someone back

Someone who I get to buy flowers for
no apparent reason other than today
at work a thought of you popped into
my head and I began to smile from
ear to ear

Never i shall I compare thee to a summer's day
or thy presence or beauty to that of but a rose

Unless that rose is firmly clasped betwixt
your finger's whilst head is ever so slightly
tilted down raking in floral scents perfumery

Or summer if it be set adjacent back
illuminating your silhouette with vestal
angel radiant celestial white gold

So much so I had to stop and wonder
to myself if she may just well be
Eve's reincarnation herself
