Kind Gestures

Show a gesture of warmth to all you meet
Offer each one the least- a pleasing smile!
A kind gesture can give others a new start
Geniality generates joy, creating a comfy feel

Offer each one the least- a pleasing smile
Many wallow in gnawing despair
Geniality generates joy, creating a comfy feel
Mend their hearts which need urgent repair

Many wallow in gnawing despair
Lend your ears to what they have to say
Mend their hearts which need urgent repair
When you listen, their frustration you allay

Lend your ears to what they have to say
Having no one to listen is the greatest bane
When you listen, their frustration you allay
By patiently listening, their anxieties, you slain

Having no one to listen is the greatest bane
A kind gesture can give others a new start
By patiently listening, their anxieties, you slain
Show a gesture of warmth to all you meet

Your theme of kind gestures resonates throughout my friend. Much love and peace in your endearing sentiments, Valsa. Best to you.

Nothing is truly more delightful than when we see the accomplishments of our personnel, especially when they are as flawlessly and exquisitely crafted as Pantoum. Indeed dear friend Valsa. It is actually the behavior of wise people to talk less and listen more; one should adopt this behavior.

Two ears and a smile: That's all we need to be ambassadors of goodwill to all whom we meet. Lovely writ, Valsa. :) gw

I am a terrible listener as I find when I listen to people, they never stop talking and seldom have anything to say worth listening to! Thank goodness for religious leaders, psychiatrists, and psychologists! Enjoyed, Valsa! Aloha!

And best of all a kind gesture or a simple act of kindness can make someone's day. Hope your week is off to a good start Valsa. Tom
