Sun flow progressed from east to west,
with rays of light, the day is blessed.
Like suns imbue, rays beaming through,
my heart still shines with love for you.

Sun rays presume that flowers bloom,
and fill the air with sweet perfume.
Like flowers hue of red and blue,
my heart still blooms with love for you.

The charmed mystique of forest creek
that trickles down a mountain’s cheek.
Like streamlets spew their water through,
my heart still flows with love for you.

From Moon’s soft glow, the moonbeams flow,
and light the darkness down below.
Like moonbeams strew the silvery hue,
my heart still glows with love for you.

A candle’s light glows in the night
as shadows dance with calm delight.
Like flames that grew with heat on cue,
my heart still burns with love for you.

A Last Poem for You, My Mate

If Death comes calling in colorful spring
I hope it will come in the month of May
When our garden is filled with fragrant blooms
That you have tended in your caring way.

Pansies and daisies with their sweet faces
Look up to agapanthus lofty height.
Each bloom as diverse as we are humans,
Each offers beauty to my love's delight.

Please don't come in summer when school is out,
Time with our grandchildren I cherish so.
I can't think of ruining their fun time
I'm pleading, in summer, don't make me go.

The times that we share at the pool or parks
Is precious to me as watching them grow.
They fill my heart with such laughter and joy
I feel their love too...I'm letting you know.

Oh Death, come in autumn, my favored time.
When green leaves turn scarlet, orange and gold.
My eyes feast on beauty of changing trees,
Grateful for my seasons of growing old.

Autumn transcends my soul's true endeavors
To leave with you poetic words, my mate.
My legacy...to our generations
As we must all accept Death as our fate.

In winter, a time of quiet and rest...
When reflections of past mirror our views
And we watch as our life spreads before us
If it’s time to leave, I wish I could choose.

However Death, should you come in winter,
When the Earth like my hair is bathed in white,
I'd embrace your visit in my winter
To dwell forever in God's divine light.

My Heart Beats For You

Walking aimlessly through the woods
Searching for that spot we once stood
Pouring out my heart and my tears
Reliving memories of those special years

Red and orange and purple from green
Rich autumn colors, a sight to be seen
The winds of change quickly blowing in
With it a new chapter will soon begin

Not ready to give up, I can't let go
Where am I headed, where will I blow
Lost without you, what am I to do
Darling, my heart is still beating for you

My Heart Is Meant For You

Lights dimmed in a cool marbled hall
a solitary candle flickers
soft chamber music echoes
and my thoughts turn to You
down on my knees
memories come as love has gone
how many times have I begged
to have a heart to hold
a bond to build
an angel to adore
Again I beg for the courage
the strength to carry on
to lead
to live
to love
unconditionally
A bright ray of sunshine
filters through the stained glass window
illuminating your image
heartaches soothe as I take in your essence
and I know
my heart is meant for You

As I made my way through the shadowy forest of doubt,
I had the most unusual dreamlike thoughts.
I stared trancelike when a herd of unicorns approached,
led by a surreal Mad Hatter seeking Alice.
In the hazy early morning light on a trail we’d traveled often,
I paused to blink, knowing the visions were ethereal.
Unicorns? Please, this herd looked like something from a fairytale,
and I wondered if they could be anything but imaginary.
Then a familiar voice I heard. It was yours, my love.
You reminded me to enjoy the moment, not to think so hard.
Real or unreal, it was a vision brewed by an active imagination,
one that will not rest until I find my way back to you.

-This buds for you!-
-It takes one to know one!-
-I know you are, but what am I?-

A second hand, on my stopwatch, going nowhere!
You are a joker, a smoker, a midnight stroker
<-------How, about that, Steve Miller song

I'm not here to talk about the way you comment a poem
That's not how I roll, now listen, and listen well,

I don't care, about them words you speak
A whining sheep, every time you don't score
Crying behind close doors,
Boo-Who, I did not place high in so-and-so's contest
Gosh&dammit, not everyone's on a quest
Blogging, about the day, your poem got demoted to nonsense
Trying to comment relentlessly,
You can't top, a mountain that has no setup

I'd rather leave a copy paste comment,
"than being fake as fake can be"
At least, my copy paste was a song,
in which welcome the new poets on
Treating, everyone with love and security
Your invites, are cold and force, to you it's not about community
No motion, to your notion, simple, and disgusting

I don't know why you think, we are competing,
Long ago, I left you bleeding, no reason to be defeating
Your paranoia, has you thinking, it's all about the points,
It's getting old and boring,
You cry babies are nothing more than jokes and hypocrites
Hey you, this ain't dominoes, we done pass every Jo-Jo
When, I have time I sit here for fun, my trigger finger on the gun

Reading, commenting, until my day is done
You think, because someone, left a copy paste
That your poem was not read,
Perhaps, it was not understood, or enjoyed
Or, a welcome to the neighborhood
A nice smile, from me to you
Nice poem, You Rock!
So What! ---- WOW!

This Bud's for you
I think it's time for you to GET A LIFE!
Be glad someone took their time, in checking you out twice
Not, everyone on this site, is full of bull-****
The smallest words, are more likely to be legit
I don't need and expensive comment,
I don't want to impress, when it comes to the best comment
Please do not make love to my poem!

A nice pat on my back will do,
Now that my friend, puts a smile on my face
To know you care, to know you were there:)

Peace Out,

My Wish For You

I wish for you long lives together
With more sunshine days than stormy weather,
To always share your laughs and tears
Support each other through your fears.
And when things get rough, as they sometimes will
Take each others hand and climb that hill.
When life is good and you're on cloud nine,
Rejoice and be thankful that all is fine.
I pray your life together will be blessed
Always try to do your best,
Hug, love be faithful and strong,
May your journey together be full of song.
To one another always be true,
These are the things that I wish for you.

2nd June 2017

I wrote and read this in Church yesterday for the marriage of my daughter Lucy and son in lawTom. Such a magical day was had by all. Blessings to them.

Premium Member The Pathway I Will Lay For You

The pathway I will lay for you
with seeds that I will scatter round
will soon have blooms come into view
so you can tread on fragrant ground
and feel your spirit fill with song
when we can meet among the blue
of blooms that will have sprung along
the pathway I will lay for you!

I walk upon a green feathered hilltop
to find your soul, that I lost long ago
and lay flowers where your grave says stop
sit in the silence till' the sun is low
I'll bow my head and feel the loneliness
while trembling hands cradle tears that fall
I feel the sadness of my emptiness
while listening for the unanswered call
there is no time that my pain's loss can quell
no answer to quiet the question why
as life moves on and there is only hell
searching for you, I'm lost, my eyes still cry

I'll claim no noble dignity or deed
find nothing alone on this hill, but need

Bridge - Here For You

when your heart is weak
not beating well.
Your tired and weariness overcomes
I will hold your hand,
whispering softly in your ears
I am here for you.

Time has come
your eyes saying goodbye
your heart no longer beats
I will hold your hand
saying farewell not goodbye
I was here for you.

I hold you close
in a last embrace
my heart is broken.
Time to let you go...I
kiss your lips and turn away.
Knowing,
I was here for you.

This song, it is for you
Because my heart is singing
All that I feel is true
The happiness you’re bringing

Because my heart is singing
The sun is burning bright
The happiness you’re bringing
Chases away the night

The sun is burning bright
And though the nightmare lingers
Chases away the night
With friendly fiery fingers

And though the nightmare lingers
I shiver in your arms
With friendly fiery fingers
You keep me safe and warm

I shiver in your arms
You whisper in my ear
You keep me safe and warm
I want you always near

You whisper in my ear
The words that live within me
I want you always near
Two hearts, eternally

The words that live within me
All that I feel is true
Two hearts, eternally
This song, it is for you

Premium Member I Wait For You

I have been counting all the days
Till your return, then we’ll embrace
Where flowers bloom beside the stream.
With beating heart and eyes that gleam
I would inhale your fragrant scent
And taste your lips, with your consent.
All dressed in green, with flowing hair
A spell you wield my maiden fair!

But now it is the twenty-first
And I still hunger, I still thirst.
For jealous winter spoiled our date
Abused its grip to make you late.
Outside it’s raining, dark and cold
There is no rainbow to behold!

                     ~I Long ForYou~

In this star-studded autumnal, late, still night.
The red, cinnamon candle burns as my soul, so bright.

The room, a forest, of most sensual you.
With rainbowed walls, that enhance our bodies, too!

How I utterly desire your soft, olive skin.
And deep eyes that so hotly draw me in.

Picture us, lost in love’s deep, aquamarine sea.
An aqueous, sensuous, fairy dream of you and me.

We can flow with moonlit, synergistic clouds
Magically, fearlessly, saying… I want you, out loud!

The loving, lace curtains flow gently, the winds on our lovers’ backs.
For there is no tomorrow, when there is nothing in the world lovers lack!

Blow your warm, rose scented blossoms on my pounding chest.
You are my forever treasure, for in loving you, life is truly the best!

There For You

There for you

Always my love it shall rest on your shoulders
Even when clouds fill the sky
Holding you tightly for now and forever
Drying each tear you may cry

Keeping you safe as a light in the darkness
Holding your hand as you go
Wearing a smile, helping you to be happy
When any sadness may show

Sharing your dreams as we watch them together
Soothing your every pain
Offered affection to last you eternal
Sheltering you from the rain

Taking the lead to divert any danger
Always your shield I shall be
Standing your cause for that’s all that will matter
Keeping you so close to me

Tying a knot so the thread never weakens
Clenching my grip ever tight
Writing a poem so you will remember
Love is with you every night

Following every word you have spoken
Listening close to your needs
Thinking ahead of the problems you’re facing
Protecting what you do believe

Here is my love that I offer you freely
No matter what we may do
Forever I shall be yours so completely
My promise, to be there for you

Premium Member This Heart Beats For You Alone

Although I'm little distant, I love you on this day
Because I love you more than I did yesterday
Come lay with me on today
Don't hesitate let's have fun and play
Each moment with you is spring time in
May
Follow your heart, and let it have it's say
Give me all of you, that is the only way
Handle my heart with care,I'll never stray
I want to be with you forever and always
Join me on this lovely and romantic sleigh
Keep our romance fun, let's roll in the hay
Let's be together until we're old and gray
My heart and soul is yours, and will forever
stay
New beginnings are always at bay
On this day I want to be your wife don't delay
Please say yes, we'll get married in Hawaii I'll
wear a lai
Quit thinking about all we have on our tray
Rest assured I'm ready to throw all negativity
away
Sorry I brought all this up on your birthday
Trust in God he is the potter we're the clay
Understand we can't do this halfway
Venturing out of our comfort zone will cause us to
be giddy and gay
With you I will take you hand down life's
pathway
X-ray your heart so it could be on display
You are my whole world, I'm happy as a bluejay
Zestfulness is what you give me, is what
I'm trying to convey
