Premium Member A Picnic With Pablo Neruda

Four legs quiver
like clumsy cabrioles
striking smooth gray rivers
of zig-zag sidewalk barrios
in rhythm with happy shivers
syncopated on a muffled drum
as we talk and stroll

On our way
hand-in-hand
we persuade and pretend
this day away
taunting and cajoling to demand
laughing “hide and seeking”
chasing and skedaddling
poking and peeking
like cuddly pandas
or canoodling otters
splashing and clambering

We roll and meander
impetuously twiddling all the way
atop gregarious green promenades
we pause in slight delay
as we prattle and prance
as we dance to the Crickets singing
nodding to their fiddling
frolicking with all the jiggling

Serendipitous stalks
of snickering flowers pop
to dazzle and razzle our wits
we glide in stripes of candy bits
of rainbows bright

Purple painted paisley
fragrantly flairs in pairs
of scented lavender sweetness
among black-eyed daisies
dusting the woozy air
in a meadow’s billowing bloom
sunflowers sunbathe in costume

We giddily tarry
as we carry
a feast of fancies and treats
artsy bits of charmed delicacies
filled with a peck of upcoming kisses
enticing fantasies that wink

Snuggling shenanigans lead us astray
as we find our rootie-tootie hideaway
hugs as we shy away
from tomfoolery jesting
to lay down and swoon
looking up at the soon to be stars
lingering for the coming of the moon

Murmurs of Starlings
gaggle their harmonies
of chirps
in cheeks and broadened beaks
thrumming tiny melodies.

Swallows sweep and woo
fixated on this unabashed swain
through songbird strains
announcing a shrilling review
broadening in sweet refrains

“I love you…I love you”

Fingerpainting the Monet sky
puffy white cotton words appear
from clouds passing by
while tiny violins spin in the air
piccolos peep
pigeon-toed Doves coo and weep
their contentedness to appease
trailing off the pleasant breeze

I fall upon my knees

My words explode to strew
like a thousand storms set free

“I love you…I love you…I love you”

Just outside the window
a row of coned shaped trees bend their foolish heads
                                                       for her attention...
She can have her way with them...
yet, with such a wily nature, she passes over them,
and softly treads a path through the garden gate...
Her steps are light as dew, making not a sound...
as she hesitates to wake a slumbering rose...
and timidly brushes past a trellis of sleeping morning glories...

She peeks in, then slowly slithers through his open window, while he lies sleeping....
The angle of her glance makes his closed eyes flutter...
                                                                and he smiles....
Her appearance casts shadows on the far wall, as she stares across the room at him
    She tarries for a moment
A reflected image on the mirror spreads her silken white cloth...
He feels her move over him...
He is kissed by this welcome intruder, ...hypnotized by her charm, and her cool breath...
Dazzled by this embrace, he tosses the quilt, in restless dream....
She caresses so softly, filling his heart, and making him sigh...
He basks in her love, and lies in sweet gratitude in his sleepy state
                                                   enraptured with sweet contentment
Soaking up and drunk with the intoxication of her shine

Outside, a lonely eucalyptus tree is jealous...
Impatient and longing to feel such affection....
It's branches clamor against the glass, hoping to break her spell on him...

But, woefully....
angry clouds intrude to steal away the moment...
She runs and hides!

No longer does he feel the kiss,...the sweet lunar incandescence of her breath...
     The seduction of her glow...
Coolness and disappointment envelop him as darkness returns again...

And he is once again alone in the shadows of the dark
He must pull his blanket up, and dream of other lovers.....

Computer Flirt

You flirt with your computer; as one does,
When you turn it on, you abuzz.
Poking all it's keys,
You think your the bees knees...
You flirt with your computer; as one does.

Computer flirts everywhere, it's true,
Electronic flirtatious rendezvous.
Gazing at your screen to your flirty searching stream,
You flirt with your computer, as one does.

You never want to leave it as you woo,
You flirt with your computer, as they do
Feel I should alert-
I admit I am a flirt;
A computer flirt...
Just
Like
you!

days chuckle praise of lavender fiery sunlight
whilst mistral wind impudent wave moves and alight

spring flexuous through unfolding a sigh of such
colour; soft velvet petals flirt for kindly touch

no harm done
words rolling off the tongue
mellow and melodious
luscious and lingering
seductive and suggestive
feelings hushed yet heightened

a dainty dilemma decidedly delicious
delightfully divine

Premium Member Flirtatious Fun It Girl of 1923

Florence Fay the flirtatious fun “it’ girl of 1923,
Was nothing like me grandma said. Nothing like me.
We heard wistfulness in her voice, she had never been free.
Chained to six younger siblings, and then married off to Lee.

She was outrageous said Grams. Lived her life her way.
Her adventures were varied and vast, what more can I say?
She never came back to visit, to see us or to stay.
She was too busy living life, which she did far away.

But who was she to you, Grandma? Asked Little Lou.
She was my oldest sister, and a really good one too.
Until she escaped the farm and ran off into the blue.
She never returned said our Grandma, Little Sue.

Fine like silk with your pickup lines,
letting me bathe in those bubbles;
Invading my ears drumming a beat,
rat a tat tat,
Teasing and taunting like that
accent I can't quite place;
Too much to talk a little bit longer?
Inside out,
orange red lipstick on your collar
underlying color on your neck,
scarlet cocktail glasses so flirtatious.

Flirtatious Joy

Promise me that I may never cry,
Hold me to love you never deny,
Spare me concerns as I thirst for you,
Cherish and embrace live moments true.

Touch me to divine charm decisions,
As I take away heart beat passions,
Swindle each breath and fragrance to inhale,
And let you struggle in your temptation.

Do not steal away discrete lover,
It is nature we learn, discover:

A handsome stud passes me on the street
He winks, I blush, he stares at my cute feet!
                       WOOHOO

Next, a shirtless man, in the noonday sun.
I nearly melt, like a melting, cinnamon bun.
                       WOOHOO

Flirtatious In Mind...<8>

She is of all delight a wild heart
Her words penned in mind
Set scenes on fire
With seductive desire
Once read once seen
A moment for all to adore
Her flirtatious style rides you high
A moment of urgent lines
Your imagination takes over the mind
An spirit of mystery holds you
A Journey within her mind
Can you hide inside for a while
Just to admire her flame of flames
Her words like sonata to the senses
A daydream away
Instead you wait till the next line is deserved

Amy's Glance

It's not an admirable trait
Jealousy
Though if I'm true, yes powerless over my state
Jealous
Of tiny panes of glass' faint reflection
Envious
Their sussurate echo searing thoughts of their coveted direction
Oblivious
Without knowingly sparking a pandemonius spectacle
A sight
Inspiration to wandering daydreams of letting lips to neck tickle
Too far?
A far glance, eye to eye
Will have to satisfy
