Best Endowing Poems
Late autumn glides with buoyant ease
Where songbirds twit a mellow note;
A hymn for cycle’s last reprise
That graces rippled leaves afloat:
November whorls its amber lace
Endowing quiet as blooms cloak
The lanes the fields… in night’s embrace
When trails of garlands limp evoke
Crisp season’s end… nipped trees droop low
As moonshine blesses each day’s reign,
Immersed in gray ...where all things flow
While comfort soothes my breath, my gain.
I shall but hold Fall’s velvet wrap
Before the jaws of frost entrap.

A coastline laps with glistening waves
Dotted with light from its shore-bed unseen,
While fragrance of air and gull’s trill filter
Through leafy boughs varnished in shamrock green.
How this breathtaking view warms my senses
Where tinted sands like nuggets of a jade,
Beguile dreamy feet to tap, to tiptoe
On lime stones, pebbles, daintily arrayed.
From fibrils of tides the woven moss rides
That gently, evening drapes the isle with ease
Softer the ripples in patterns that hold
A verdant calm between water and trees
Endowing new March a treasure’s delight
That rails this juncture, bright as emerald…
And I, a lucky charm of this fresh luster
Delight in the gush bearing spring’s reward.

It is in the grey of icy evenings
When those dimly-lit wishes seem to fade,
A bitter nip, a woe this season brings
The chafing of hope's ardor, delayed.
Even though I grieve during the passage
Of summer’s festive and vigorous trails
How could I not ponder on this new stage;
As the quiet of misty Fall unveils
Reflective pauses where breaths gently ease
The dark and long wait of unanswered squall;
Endowing thoughts with a hymnal reprise
And, guiding stillness with poise that enthrals.
It must be the cold flakes in dusk-like stent
That restores hope with godly contentment.

"It's night before it's afternoon.
December is here before it's June."
Crystals had fluttered to the ground
And settled gently all around,
White as moistened quilt of feather
Upon the pale evening's heather...
Bare now after November’s hand
Stripped the fields while tints disband,
Endowing the trees with light finesse
And silver stars of gracefulness.

Yore of moments pass
From within the eve
Of mazarine
Heavens celestial body
Pulse of heatwave passions
As spell are cast
Of star gaze
She, upon the auspicious me
Sultry eyes, twinkle yet
Flicker, dance ablaze
Thus, traverse I must, to kismet
Walk the red fiery molten flames
Searing coals forthwith transfix
Become sweet rose nectar lips
"The possession" her magical ruby charms
Burning deeper, is the intoxicating sip
Crafting to rise, crashes walls, hearts aflood
Waters washing ocean's staves
All that is runneth over
Burgundy bloods liquid glaze
Monsoons from out of lives
Two souls set love drenching free
Quicker to intertwine
Endowing testaments, hence to be
Thus, through fibers core wildfires reign
Eruptions into ritual
What ancient fates once withheld
As such escapes pheonix touch, euphoric kiss
I ransack my mind…the blurred tale that cries
On hollow tracks scarcely finding life's way
The bleakest moans, the clearest views reprise--
A pounding shrill of angst which reels all day.
Though a prayerful night quietly drains,
Above, a communion with God remains.
From my confined walls, moonlight slowly bleeds
Ghastly this shadow grilling a leaked pen:
And yet, one flint from heaven’s star accedes
Endowing malaise its final amen.
Shall I grow weaker and perhaps forget
How double-edged illness comes with youth's rain?
Oh where I recline, next evening won't set
Dear moments when smiles are lucid again.
Here... tidal bowl with apples soon to fade
As breaths drop, pass through dusk’s advancing shade.

The hour arrives when moon and sky unfold
as prelude between day and eve awakes;
till hand of sunset bids goodbye, consoled
and quietude lingers before dawn breaks
endowing soft pause, mending workload's aches.

Six days of work for the Master Artist,
creating a universe, bestowing life.
After looking back on His outline,
God colored emotions for Adam and his wife.
Between His sketches of sea and sky,
Blue hues He chose, endowing serenity.
He awakened nature’s forests with strokes of green,
employing earth tones to convey humility.
Red and yellow flowers He painted to bring joy;
white clouds in the heavens added purity.
Rainbow tints filled God’s world with emotions,
leaving no colors in obscurity.
Before one final act, He debated “free will,”
so desirous that each human life form
be welcome in His eternal kingdom.
But no one, He decided, should be forced to conform.
Material things God created en masse
were mere outlines with possibilities.
To make life worth living, He continued day seven,
giving man love, joy and merciful abilities.

For Curtis Moorman’s contest: “What Did God Do on the Seventh Day?”
Mother Nature's magnificent, all know:
when spring imbues new life, year after year,
rays of gold feed the land, and the plants grow
so that all of earth in this hemisphere,
from east to west, again vibrate and flow
with verdant grandeur that mortal men fear.
As earliest men draw their breath in awe
of Nature's ancient majesty and source,
from the beginning of time, as by law,
the seasons take their predetermined course;
and, as relentless as an iron paw,
renew the earth with life-endowing force!
So, if the handiwork of Mother Nature
be so magnificent and grandiose,
let her then be man's benevolent teacher
so she may instruct, enjoin, and enclose
them as faithful stewards: and then may feature
her fearful powers to them in cool repose.
The lanterns glint through flames of night
when musings dwell, to rise, to soar
unto a breeze, in orange-white
and with lit murmurs, troubles beseech…
soft the prayers as hands implore,
one rhapsody like sacred speech.
Unyielding, angel wings unfold
the rise and ebb of hopeful dreams
beneath glazed stars, touching eve’s cold…
for human faith opens god’s sky,
endowing a new day, agleam
as wishes claim heaven’s reply.
The lanterns glint through flames of night
Unyielding, laced wings unfold.

New Day Contest for Nayda Ivette Negron
When time's frame glints across an endless cloud
Deepening the blue of serenity,
My eyes unveil this mystical tableau
As life's creation lingers to bestow;
This moment radiant , graced by life's flow…
And I, a stellar being, am enticed
By my physical essence so engraved,
Yet formed through Spirit's pattern--a god child
Endowing peace through a realm of oneness,
While breaths ascend layers of earthly trails
Journeying higher than twilight’s soft flame,
An infinite species, I learn to emerge
In a blend of human genes... and divine mold.

Above a ridge, knowing not how on
some parcel of a lucent dome, we meander
to breathe in the vapor of moonlight ,
gently burying her crown upon breasts of valleys
endowing a lush ritual: the great gig in the sky...
of trees rustling in a prance, of a wind
cascading unto a Celtic musicale,
glossy lips of dandelions that speak
to me through you, whisking our laughter
on the run so mellow in autumn’s new eclipse.
Even when jewelled stars play-- between us
and them—our glides become faster,
that the world heaves with us,
open to love’s charm undefined by time...
how we spill into a hundred portraits
borne from an unrelenting joy which hours
or money cannot buy...then forgetting what
ancient tales have revealed : the heart with fiery
ardour causes brain damage...going, going, gone!
Looking up, I hear you whisper, “ Touch
any color you want,” as hues change from
apricot to orange. Yet before pointing to the sky,
bold moonlight hides, allowing us to defrock
warm kisses under her gently dark silhouette.

You know to be proud of the skin you in to keep the decorum of a winner.
Let them see you smile when frustrated.
Prepare your way.
Empowering a form that distinguishes your person, many have known a covetous
environment informs growth and stratagem.
Crazy at it they come.
You the one they are jealous of.
See yourself through their eyes.
Therein,
Strive.
A scenario...
Beautiful is your person.
Your voice is endowing throughout the world.
You have achieved double masters even in time of dilemma.
So many problems yet you face.
Never a tiring soul will embody your essence.
Crazy at it they will come.
Your fundamental nature murals an image of who you are.
Epitomizing your ideals and religion, setting the perfect example to pattern.
To end the scenario...
You just might be the first of your kind.
Exemplar, an original mind…
Endeavor on!
Titivated to thrive, you are a striver.
Therefore,
Strive.
