Best Egg Poems
No more walking on egg shells
or stroking one mans pride
My wounded heart is open now
and at last so are my eyes
No more empty conversations
pro claiming he's the best
If truth be known his actions shown
He's just like all the rest
There is so much to be thankful for
I'm healing from the fall
But he's the one who's suffering
He could have had it all...
Blue Egg Mommy
You know it’s spring when she sings.
The first to show as day greets “Hello”
Her morning song so beautiful and strong.
Soon preoccupied all day long.
Her tenacity will impress, as she builds her twiggy nest.
With her orange breast, she is the best dressed
and my most honored, welcomed guest.
Squeaking, peeping, shrieking, her shivering brood needs warmth
and food.
Feeding her flustered fledglings first, she feels blessed,
but this blue egg mommy never rests.
From her tree
she looks around.
No enemies to be found.
Just a faint worm sound.
Feeling safe,
she flies
down.
Look for her in blades of green.
Minding her business she is often seen,
in parks,
your garage,
or near a stream.
"I am so fond of you my little thrush.
Sweet dreams Blue Egg Mommy,
hush"
On the pan she cracks on the edges
Flows in her white gold love rashes;
Wet to oil, bottoms turn up in fumes
Sigh, sizzles to burns in her top cues.
Hot as roasted, spiced in cheekiness,
Crusts within the silky ceramic lust:
Fingers feel cling to the push shove
Tongue melts into lick, flip; lip sucks.
Molds fold with in the hardness cuts.
Aroma breaks the churning of beats,
Touches to heap and urge the squeals
Lifts and drops akin to the greasy eel.
Life is passion in word promises
Beauty in metaphors is my trust.
Lumpy Rumpy, now a high school lad,
I'm afraid is still acting very bad,
In his school laboratory he did amass,
Some stinking, self-made, rotten egg gas.
He corked it up in a chemistry vial,
Then down the town, he strolled for a while,
Choosing a site, the local paper shop,
He went in with the vial and took the top off.
He hid it behind a large magazine rack,
Waiting outside for the putrid gas attack,
In three minutes flat the shop emptied out,
People holding their noses as they ran about.
The fire brigade called, putting masks on,
To find the rotten aroma, so very strong,
Finally the brigade captain emerged holding the vial,
Lumpy grinned to himself,
Another prank done with such style.
“And how are you named dear Owl?” The Owl continued to look dignified but uttered no reply, rather it fixed Dumpty with a thoughtful look – “Gee it must have been hard going out there searching how far did you search? and what about your craft?” “I secured our boat right away” said the Owl, “and then began flying to search him out, that ocean is the sea of forgetfulness, and I can see how you could lose your understanding memory of distance and so on.. I have been searching right up until last night” “Wow!” exclaimed Dumpty, that must have been 28
days”. ”Yes about that time” answered the Owl, “you must be really tired” said Dumpty. ”I don't mind if you wish to get some sleep after all that searching” As he finished saying this the bird tucked its head in, closed its eyes and started to sleep...'

just put a typo right replaced a H with D
He lay there, shattered,
the shell of his former self,
scrambled beyond hope ...
Not really her fault ...
all she wanted was a quiche,
but she'd pushed too hard.

So far it's been 35 years since I started to roam the Earth, You only stood in my life from birth until i was 11months then left me with no trace not even a word.
I try to forget about you but in my mind you still creep in, Why put me through this mental torture was I such a sin ? I'm surprised you didn't throw me into a trash bin.
At times I fall asleep with tears in my eyes wondering what was your reasons for disappearing, also wondering if you did the same to my unknown siblings.
In fact it's a whole half of my bloodline that I don't know, Did you even advise them of my existence ? How can you as a "Woman" have a Heart so cold ?
As I grew older I tried to track you exhausting many options and logic, I guess I have better chances of meeting Jesus before we ever discuss this topic.
I was raised by my Paternal side of the Family who nurtured and watched me grow, Now I found the Woman who I will soon marry God willing adopt some children and start my own Family.
I am not poor nor am I rich 1 thing's for sure I will never be like you you disgraceful Witch, The pains you have caused me I would never wish on another since you decided to run and go in to deep cover, I'm glad I don't have to refer to you as a Biological Mother.

They`re heart`s like an egg forever hardboiled,
friends that betrayed, dreams that were foiled.
Protecting it`s shell and those whom were loyal,
toys of their youth, their health, all now spoiled spoiled.
They`re heart`s like an egg forever hardboiled.
Decisions, regrets, a life of turmoil,
choices, bad bets, and days of hard toil,
they fall to their beds, body in coil.
They`re heart`s like an egg, forever hardboiled.
Doing their best only turning up roiled.
Controversial at best, always embroiled,
and they no longer fear, being planted in soil.
Chicken or egg - what came first?
Can't find an answer that will quench my thirst.
“Of course,” said the chicken, “it was me.
Without me, how could the egg ever be?”
This question goes round, and round and round,
But to most, the answer is never found!
For without the chicken can an egg be laid?
“And how could there be a chicken without me?” the egg said.
This question was asked but found no answer for years…
Till a wise man solved the mystery with wisdom and tears.
“Neither was the egg first, nor was it the chicken.
The plan for this story was hatched in heaven.
That nothing in this world shall be a creation.
Everything that we see is but a manifestation.”
“What do you mean?” said someone with a scream.
“Nothing is real! Is everything just a dream?”
The wise man answered, ”Yes that is true.
Both appeared together, everything is a myth –nothing is true!”
The next time you are asked the question, “What came first?
Was it the tree or the seed that came first?”
Don't go in circles, round and round.
For the answer to the question will never be found!
before nothing there was something
in that something everything was there
when everything was poured through nothing again
from different dimensions everything is here
egg was after hen
Did Hannah See Bees? Hannah Did,
eating blue cheese with the big kid.
Noel, Let's Egg Estelle On,
about her friend little John.
They ran fast down the hill and slid.
This father hen spent half a lifetime
tending to eggs.
as they say
it's a man's duty to stay
within the blaze of a mundane rain...
day after day
protect hatchlings from fangs
and the darkness{es}
that will surely arrive
on the eves of tomorrow's eyes...
Half a lifetime
panning for gold
but tasting pyrite
half a lifetime with half a soulmate
while the real deal slides by and by
out of sight
down the grate
out of life
out of time...
for Christ's sake
for the sake of eggs.
Just the other day
grandson told me he loved me
I said I love you too...
Then I asked his four-year-old heart
what love was.
He replied, "you PAPPA".
How do you walk away from that? I ask
so I stay anchored to hatchling and eggs
As Grandma used to say
"you've made your bed now sleep in it"...
God, how I miss her Atlantic cold honesty.
A portly man with manner, droll,
approached an egg out on a stroll,
kindly offering him a ride,
and soon that egg was fried.
The potato, to the egg, he cooed,
"You are by far my favorite food",
and he continued as he said,
"Might you and I soon be wed?"
The egg, to the potato, spoke,
"My, but you're a handsome bloke.
Our shapes are very much the same,
and I, with love, will take your name."
To seal the deal, they sweetly kissed,
and drew up an invitation list
(so their best friends would not be missed).
Little envelopes were addressed to these:
peppers, mushrooms, onions, cheese.
A happier occasion was never known,
how beautiful was egg in her silken gown,
the proud potato fried golden brown,
a party well-remembered, though
it was washed down with my morning joe.
