The Egg Hatcher

I've spent half a lifetime tending to eggs but as they say its a man's duty to stay within the blaze of a mundane rain... day after day protect hatchlings from fangs and the darkness{es} that will surely arrive on the eves of tomorrow's eyes... Half a lifetime panning for gold but tasting pyrite half a lifetime with half a soulmate while the real deal slides by and by out of sight down the grate out of life out of time.. for Christ's for the sake of eggs Just the other day grand babe told me he loved me i said i love you to.. then i asked his four year old heart what love was.. he replied YOU PAPPA. How do you walk away from that..i ask so i stay anchored to hatchling and blood eggs As Grandma used to say "you made your bed now sleep in it"... God how i miss her Atlantic cold honesty.
