Premium Member Dancing With the Devil

Lost between the borders of heaven and hell,
confusion led to this story, one must tell.
Surrounded by a world full of violence,
I closed my eyes and took a vow of silence.

Wondering if this life was even real,
weird chills and shivers, one began to feel.
Suddenly a figure appeared in a shroud,
in darkness, his words echoed ever so loud.

“If you dare, come closer and take a chance,
won’t you give me the pleasure of one dance?
Do not fear for I am not violent,
why are you the one who is silent?”

“Why should one become your willing dancer,
so that you can fill my mind with cancer?
You are nothing but a ferocious beast,
go now, upon my soul you shall not feast.”

“I know all about your forgotten schemes,
I’m the one who can bring you your dreams.”
Thou shall not sin, come leave this humdrum city,
let me show you a life, ever so pretty.
Can’t you see we are all the same breed,
they will all follow if you plant my seed.”

Louder and louder his words would repeat,
effecting the rhythm of my heart beat.
This was no simple case of confusion,
for this image was causing much delusion.
Then again, life can become an illusion,
when one chooses, a life full of seclusion.

“I must decline this dance you want so badly,
for you this poem will end, rather sadly.
For, I seek a path of peaceful harmony,
my soul cannot sing with you in symphony.
Nothing here for you, so be on your way,
this time your words shall not lead me astray.”

Scorned he left with a sly grin on his face,
vowing to return again to this place.

Inside, something that day seemed to have died.
Resisting temptation filled me with pride.
For him this was just a sinister game,
but, I could never live a life of shame.
After all I was my mother’s son,
strong – after all had been said and done.

The Emancipated

"The Emancipated"

See all the pretty words
perched on a tongue
like singing birds

Anagnorisis from
the Poetic Aristotle
effecting affectations

from the fangs
a cutting
100th monkey

Sting the truth
like a bee sipping nectar
kissing blooming minds

masked in soliloquay
lines of perdition
beckoning mushrooms

atomic fusion
drunken swallows
all sing in flattering discord

ribbons of melting harmony
red bolsheviks in their own time
tightly strung emancipating

crumbs of such simple
knowledge
found in golden maize of Rhyme

The Cherry Orchard
It is sold
In their final days

Premium Member Pure Class

Music was always my great love
throughout all my years of living
having liked many types in that time
even although I couldn't really sing

In the past decade of time
I've really loved classical so much
it's a music that reaches to the depth
to effecting the heart with slightest touch

To think I loved punk in seventies
never believed I would change to this
but classical covers such a span
of emotional moods full of bliss

My favourites cover many types
from violin, harp and cello
to clarinet, flute and guitar
some up tempo to others more mellow

It's such a treat to sit quietly
to listen to a classic piece
reading my favourite poetry
such unity entwined wish never cease

Premium Member Black Tears

When my heart beats
It pumps black ink
Flowing to my brain
Effecting how I think

I start to weep
Black tears of rage
A pool of darkness
Soaking my page

Your injected words
Have filled my veins
A heart colored black
Covered with stains

My life re-imagined
With love energized
The beat changes
New blood supplied

Color now returned
My heart fully fed
Now when I cry
My tears will be red

To the Love That Once Filled Your Eyes

When we find love broken spinning out of control
Effecting our minds and taking its toll
It's a clear sign our tank is too full
Knowing yourself well enough to make it rule
To fix the problem because we have the only tool
This leaves no chance that later we will feel like a fool
Realizing that something is broken before it becomes cruel

When we share an amazing love with another
It can have a lasting effect on what we discover
When it involves your friend and lover
Take your time to work through it as you hover
Because true love never takes time to recover
It just exists in our lives day after day by sharing
When we show one another what we are like caring

It's important to always keep our focus bearing
When we are not in the right place swearing
Then it's impossible to look back to erase
The look on your partners face
When you no longer feel their loving embrace
Knowing how our feelings work inside
Can have a lasting effect on whom we confide

If we are not willing to address them they will collide
Causing our feelings and emotions to want to hide
Taking the powerful things about love's high
That gets us up each day wanting to kiss the sky
Knowing we have a love that floats like a butterfly
Not memories of one that makes you want to cry
As you find yourself looking back saying goodbye
To the love that once filled your eyes

Premium Member drawn -

you …

came to me today
(from anon)
wholly untold to your concerns
but real enough …
I was plodding the beach, tending wounds
when you tossed your smile at
me from a shrouded sun
off whitecaps, bursting into dazzle -
echoes, alit
each a memory, recaptured
brief as a blink …
but I was transfixed, as always
immersed in your burnt ochre irises
gold flecks like shiny confetti, fluttering
they hadn’t held me since …
forever, really
and as then, the brilliance within
was unsettling -
a piercingly perceptive acumen that
probed, unchallenged
though your countenance always
smoothed the edges -
a bubbly exuberance and gravity
an eager affability -
thawed everything around you
and … everyONE
effecting the grandest of illusions
that whatever you aimed your attentions at
was your dearest concern
and your one TRULY careful involvement …
when in all actuality
we -
the matter and matters about you -
were just a multitude of
merry moths …

to your flame.

Premium Member The Binder Up of Our Wounds - Psalm 147: 3

Many claims to be a great healer
but often shows them false
words are easy but don't deliver
truth's reality is the great revealer

God alone is the one true doctor
who deals with ills by sure success
even those with hearts that are crushed
hidden their ailments are under its dress

The great healer is the one true God
who removes our sins by shedding blood
putting HIs own dear son to the cross
breaking this world with a mighty thud

Also this Lord of heaven and earth
binds us up in our wounds so neat
with the touch of heavenly oil
effecting any deep cut by His heat

A day is certainly coming in eternity
when each wound receive a cure
the master's medicine pours divinely in
where the healing is instant certain and sure

(Psalm 137:3
"He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.")

Wind circulates, lifting and flattening
an otherwise, benign, breathless world,
relying also on deeper, slowly moving
tectonics, belching foully, scattering
seas...effecting change. Seasons like Sun
rejoice and fold. An occasional comet or
meteor perhaps a compassionate
God-sent, heaven rethinking the dawdling
pace of destiny…. Man a defiant offspring,
rejecting patterns seemingly not of his own
making – good angels know better, dutifully
soothingly serving.

Premium Member Musically Inclined To Listen Intently

Musically inclined to listen intently
from this title, music is high in my list
always have enjoyed in all my years
so thrilling to me like when kissed

Someone said there's only two kinds
meaning good and bad and that's all
trust my taste has been on the good
the joy of music lifts your heart so tall

In my present times being retired
have ample time to listen real deep
a lover of classical so aids my therapy
helps calm nerves for words aren't cheap

A change in recent days to Gaelic
both Scottish and Irish are a real treat
such a magical lilt sounds in your ears
effecting you all over to follow your feet

In some musical spheres, it's independent
a whole class of its own is folk
I've grown to like it so very much
it speaks to the conscience as broke

So music is a large part of life
it stirs all of what's going on inside
makes one feel a deep longing within
the Lord tunes me to constantly abide

(A look at my musical tastes over the years and what inspires me today.)

A New Hope Shown By Anna Hazare In India

For more details, please see my Blog dated 7th April 11
'In India, a new Revolution is in the offing'

A New Hope shown by Anna Hazare in India

A new torch is there in your hands, dear Anna Hazare*,
A torch by which you are waking up the souls
Of millions and millions of our sleeping citizens.

To wake up and to remove the curses created by many of our
Corrupt bureaucrats and down to earth polluted politicians,
Such people inspire only directly or indirectly in my country
Violence, crime, corruption, and greedy coalitions.

No words are sufficient to thank you, O soldier of Gandhi,
As by non-violence, only Gandhi wanted to change the society.

God has given you an opportunity to do something,
O bold soldier
Several hundred thousands are standing with you and
Millions would join your campaign for removing the curse of corruption,
Effecting our country and many countries of the world,
All these are the result of ever-increasing greed and misdeeds of many such bureaucrats and politicians,
Such people are ruining many countries of the world by their
Ever increasing lustful temptations for money and greed for power and pelf.

In an era when the world is facing its new Renaissance of knowledge and awakening,
We salute your guts and efforts to bring a wind of change in my country.

Just keep walking with the torch of courage and hopes you have lighted,
As millions and millions more are waiting to join your efforts or
Waiting to start a campaign like this in every country,
As all the nations of the world are facing the tortures created by unworthy bureaucrats
and politicians.
Keep the torch high to light up the nation with a new light,
Our dear soldier Anna Hazare.

Darkness

Too much is on my mind and
It's haunting me like a bad dream.
Making it tough to sleep and,
When I'm wake when it's effecting me.
A form of fear that won't let go of me.

I wish I could run away,
But it catches up to me
And latches on with authority.
It makes me mad that no one understands me.
Imagine speaking to a deaf person,
Who doesn't know how to read?
Or walking blind with no one to lead.

I'd hate to find out what they really say,
With heads turned the opposite way.
Talking in code like reading hieroglyphics,
I need someone to rescue me from my insecurity.
I hate what stress is doing in me,
I'm in a dark place and it's killing me;
I hate what stress is doing in me.

Whether staring at my eye lids,
Or Eyes wide open in the dark;
It all looks the same,
The color pitch black is all around.

I'm trying to keep myself,
Together and in check.
Great at balancing many tasks,
Without really breaking a sweat.
At times it can become too much
Like overloading a circuit with too many plugs.
Overpowered and burned out,
I need someone to help me out.

The fear of being alone and stranded,
Has got me lost looking for answers.
The weight of fear is falling heavy now,
The colors of death are clear now;
Help me turn away from my path,
Before I go too far on this track.

Premium Member Love and Lunacy

LOVE AND LUNACY

As the universe streams moonbeam vibrations;

Beyond brave blue skies dreams are tossed about.

Clouds linger to infiltrate the threatening calm

Dangerous moons practice divination while waxing or waning

Exuding more or less power, effecting evil attitudes of moods.

Fondness withers as an under-watered rose.

Guises itself as sanity, instability rolls her childish eyes.

How such contempt shown as civility is more than cruel to me.

I often wonder why dreams get tossed about near spring.

January, February, seems to balance a tolerated gloom.

Keeps the quiet calm in March, until the waxing the new alluring moon.

Lunacy and love lurks in minds, as cosmic scales weigh-in gravity's pull

March introduced the full moon preparing for the for the Solar eclipse Of April.

Now that adoration has given birth to love, and it's shackles we praise the love.

Of the shackles - lets speak of the shackles that comes with the snares of loves traps.

Promises of forever gagging in the throats of unkempt dedications.

Quicksand, quickening underfoot, love suffocating instincts of Sanity.

Realities of loves lunacy, hoping we could bottle up the good times and save them.

Saving the good times for the bad times testing the power of the mind.

Testing loves abilities under the new lunar moon..hysterical levels of confusion

Universal melodies soothes the carnal mind, bonds together gods and goddesses of love.

Venus vibrations penetrating, piercing arrows, into zones of over zealous lust.

Wanton lust parading as Love causing mental confusion.

Xor gate of your natural instincts and logic wrestle, married now are love and lunacy.

Yet for just a taste of desire, or a semblance of love from you would complete me.

Walking lunatic I am, forever dancing, to the edges of this fanatical world.

Xylophones flowing universal drumbeats keeps me dancing cautiously past the loopholes.

Bored In Manhattan

I probably am the only one in the Big Apple to admit,
" The bigger the city, the lonelier one feels! "
Skyscrapers are modern monuments built against a foggy sky;
many feel lonely and bored in them, and the irony is that to rent
or buy luxurious suites is prohibitive to people who struggle
to survive, only a Trump or a Gates can afford them! Is their affluenza
effecting you? Be real: you can't have any of them, unless you hold
that lucky Lotto or Mega ticket! My advice is to keep on living
as usual and let dreams of wealth glide you by as puppet balloons
in a Thanksgiving Parade! Go to Central Park and take a stroll,
or try ice-skating...it's fun! There are a thousands of things
to do in Manhattan! Go to see a Broadway Musical or have dinner
at The Tavern On the Green with friends who are as bored as you!
No! Don't sit on that sofa and watch movies on demand!
Yes, be good to yourself....get out and enjoy life! Laugh! Run! Scream!
Do anything and everything! Have the audacity to challenge and win!
Let everyone know that are alive regardless of your social status:
money can offer lots of expensive things most of us
can't even imagine in a million of years! Search for
the simpler things that are more fun and cost almost nothing!

Beyond Doors Or Cursed

Rock paper scissors,
Wizards of utopian flavored wizardry, exquisitely triumphs in every gamble beyond these doors,
Flawless tangled reversed reflections, remain forever forbidden to thoughtless mentors,
A cursed emotional seesaw bleeds and wrestles each end hardcore,
Roaring and agitated amassing vacillating backwards tripped out cognition galore,
Attuned intrinsic tutor restoring more miraculous palaces placed within your space and time,
Sublime tribes of chrome plated words alive and congregating, hitting hard the hammer of stamina utilizing backyard grammar,
Autodidact physiques pack preeminent techniques fond of higher states,
Earthquakes from snake riddled concealment shake the anointed with disappointment,
Appointed fools lowering vibrations of stations frequencies,
Advocates underground traveling through lands and over sea's,
Undetected forward vision upwards,
In the presence of cowardly lords using swords of misfeasance,
Eyelids glued open, still unobserving rulers, kings and queens with blinding evil pupils,
Topple till stagnant misplaced silence takes vengeance over souls,
Walking gods of earth observing a hole as the devils henchman transform from the fallen,
Never forget the calling, the called out elect without verbal speech, supernatural telepathic freedom,
Finding Eden beyond quantum universes unlocking Pandora’s Box,
Mundane conscious blocks, angelic psychedelic capabilities,
Infinite possibilities traversing dimensions with three sixty peripheral vision,
Subatomic divisions, galaxies of particles coexist omnipresent yielding disorienting mechanics,
Organic fractals, geometry sacrosanct, divine kinematics pure to awoken viewers,
Future past tense, retrocausality effecting cause of events presents questions,
Spooky beauty interviewing intentions, synchronized oscillating firing patterns,
Exploding fireworks of hierarchically organized neurons, circuits and networks,
Knowledge or Ignorance? Defective decision fostering Berkes, Apple believers the first?
Earthborn mortals thirst!!! For cash, philosophy of money doctrine, man cursed.
