“looking back, I’m ashamed of what I was
I’m different now, though not without flaws
Each crest becomes a trough, as we move on
God slowly steers soul towards a new dawn”

I was a dusty carpet always ignoring abuse, it was being piled
never differentiating between a real friend and an opportunist
I always made sure I gave others more then I gave myself,
my heart was always a blood bath and my soul hurt like hell

At the age of thirty six I began my journey with a therapist
who found the little girl in me and helped her rise again
Locked inside a suitcase at six, the world to me was closed
I started living again, this time I became my own best friend

I learned to say no when I meant no and yes when I meant yes
there were adjustments along the way, with family and friends
but sooner or later they came to realize I had seen a new dawn
and I wasn't going to be used as a runner for their dirty feet

God slowly steered my heart towards a wholesome love of self,
after freeing my soul I embraced the fire and began living again.

Summer Solistice

Marigold in the paradise river the serenity
Like a sun remains stand still and getting warmer witty
Purifying souls awakening light to crystal chirp of bird beauty
Perpendicular to horizon stops and reverse its direction without guilty

Like navigating the spherical concept differentiating the seasons
Flute of songs and breezes softly flowing touching your eyes at dark because of reason
Flowers turn new and fruit ripens up led to theism
All gathered to understand the mystery of long day without any atheism

Festivals were organized and worshipped the lord
Magician takes an edge to soothsayers all native and abroad
Witches were burned by the agony of the power sword
Of the paradise cognates unraveling the mystery of luminal word

Witches go nuts by the Celtic power practice beliefs and spiritual
Worshipping natural beauty and divinity going beyond the physical world ritual
Reincarnation in the third world, soul in successive births by art songs real
respecting creatures by process of sowing and harvesting is time immemorial.

Premium Member Humanity- -

Humanity - tormentor of my dreams
I discovered the people diverse the scream
Limitlessness - limitlessness - limitlessness!
My ephemerality I could not awaken limitlessness
Take thy transcendence from out my heart aching
I crave the human, humane humanness breaking
And the universality never transcending, man's pretending

I crave the dialectic, divine deliverance
I threw my otherness upon the floor with indifference
And the consumers never differentiating
It was hardcore, more so, galore while contemplating
While I pondered, totalitarian and your humanity
Suddenly, I heard some labeling
Only this and a totalitarianism

That moment my soul grew cultist
I discovered the members unlisted
I threw my civilization upon the floor
Do you like embers, men ignore
The annexationist brought such sorrow
I crave the mystic, monarchical democracy borrowed
That fundamentalist, fundamentalist civilizing

Much I marveled this inclusive individualization
And so I screamed, 'Is that a extremity?'
That druid, druidic colonizing
And the civilizations never democratizing
Still is fraternizing, still is extremity fraternizing humanity

Id's Odyssey

What is self magnified, but life
   longing an impossible dream,
a tickling of inner cravings
as the voice of imaged splendor,
wherewithal's purpose
flourished in veritable endeavors
    of stylistic appropriations,
 realistically mediating 'tween desire's
 yearning amidst clouded vapors
   dispersing recognition beyond
     declarations of id's odyssey,
an ideal in ego's transformation
  that which awakens
   substantial sustenance
        nourishing a spirited nature,
a psychic boon, abstruse or surreal
       motivating individuality's
            creative impulses
           differentiating experience's of
  uncoordinated instinctual trends
amid uniqueness of the ultimate animus,
          'roused beyond mind-blowing intrinsic forces

Premium Member Do You Know Me

My friend, do you know me?
   I am a Pharisee
No, not per the dictionary
Which mischaracterizes my beliefs and me

For while he keeps the tradition, it's true
  A Pharisee's an ever-evolving Jew
He delves deep into the Talmud to learn the ways
to deal with the problems of the world today

Thanks to the Pharisees a Jewish-Israeli farmer
can halakhically* 'Sabbath-milk' a cow in its barn, or
devotedly observe Passover or Yom Kippur
be he in the jungle, outer space, or Kuala Lumpur

What's more, be it abortion, euthanasia or homosexuality
the Talmud treats current issues of controversiality --
A Pharisee views the times in light of the Talmud, you see
~ differentiating his faith from Hebraic-Christianity**

________________________________________________
* halakhically = in accordance with Jewish Law, in this case
                        the laws of the Sabbath
** Practitioners (for a few generations after Jesus Christ)
                        were known as Hebrew-Christians.

Premium Member Heavenly Home

Picturing the hills green of Ireland
And sunsets of Hawaii secondhand
There are times when I think
How one day as quick as a wink
This beautiful crazy life we know
Will be naught but an old scenario

When we get to heaven we’ll understand the call
Why astral beings choose to come to earth at all
Why they need to go through the mutation
For the challenge of being tempted by temptation
They must get tired of being sublimely happy
And want to feel hunger, sadness, poverty, brutality
Opting for a mission to experience life with birth
To mingle somehow with other souls enduring dearth

In heaven there’ll be no line ups to see
The likes of Jesus Christ and Ghandi
Everyone will be equals in their worth
Returning from their mission here on earth
Giving conferences each day earned
Sharing and reporting lessons learned
Angels talking about their earthly flight
How ’twas living away from God’s light
Blessed heavenly bliss in their native state
Those memories erased to a clean slate

In their reports, we’ll hear of things so different
Moments of kindnesses in high times belligerent
We’ll hear nothing short of tales of free seabirds
Heroes who saved lives with their smile and kind words
Mundane things that really are breaking ground
Like wiping away tears off faces with a frown

Up in heaven we will understand about the before and afterlife
And how here on earth there is some reason for all this strife

We’ll know life is nothing but a fraction of a moment in all eternity
And there is really nothing differentiating you from me

Life seems
at times,
sometimes chronically usual
and sometimes more critically unusual,
Life seems to see a too large familial

between Winning outside less

Life unfolds feelings

between Winning freedom and light

unveil a culturally treacherous walk.

Premium Member In Our Dead Church

Our attendance is a mere formality, a routine unconnected to the hearts
We sing, but not to the True God,
We pray with wondering Hearts
Even Prayers are dead, it is a mere routine of minutes
The fervency is gone, we know it from our hearts
We are just socializing
The men are now old who tore our hearts in years gone by
They are tired by age or backslidden,
We only remember their gone by exploits
And the new ones are distracted by social media and the world
In our Dead Church
There are no secret prayers,
No heart-searching sermons,
The choristers are desperately seeking applauds
They import songs from the other side
and characteristics of the unregenerate
Our dead church
Now have special seats in front differentiating men from men
We are no longer brethren, Pride ekes outs
We have become Ichabod
We tell stories of yesteryears and hoped the days will come again
In our Dead church, we worship men
Mere mortals, we fight or hate those who oppose them
They like it so, unlike Jesus who recognized the spirit
In our dead Church, things have become mechanical
Messages are no longer divine, they are from the internet
Our love is conditional
Our hypocrisy is loud
Our head is full, our hearts are empty
We are Christians in church but sinners at home
Don’t judge me is our lyrics in defence
In our Dead church, we have sent The Master out
We have become masters as we swindle the people through tithes and offering
Our old clergyman still keeps his office
Even when he ought to be silent so we can repent
In our dead church
The new Pastor never witnessed revival; he knows nothing about it
Our hearts are dead, our soul is panting and yearning for the church of Acts
Where Jesus was enthroned above man and mundane things of earth
We are back to Rome
Where are the Luther?
Where are the Zwingli?
Who will bring Jesus to His throne (our hearts)

Ordered Collections

People in my circle,
Same interest,
Common goal,
The heart's Venn diagram,
Uniting us,
Differentiating us,
In one huge plane,
The boundaries set by nature,
Its beauty is enhanced by the variety,
Rings and shapes intertwined,
They intersect to show us,
A people crafted with peculiarities,
A people with disparate dispositions.

Transcend Duality

I've heard the opposite of love is indifference,
I think something different than that,
It's hate, though the hollows of nothing, far worse,
Solidified matter of fact,
Only through hate can we know of love's place,
Just as sweltering sweat makes us cold,
And the way that the moon steals sunlight for the night,
Day to dark, when cowards to bold,
In my relative time here on Earth I have seen,
Blinding pain allows joy to exist,
And I think about life after death, God and hell,
Honestly hard to tell which is which,
I seek endlessly for answers to questions unknown,
Choose between keeping peace or to fight,
Finding yin and yang as a guide, always wrong,
But then again, never not right,
All the same, here we are, none and all, simultaneously,
Differentiating between the twos,
When one is the other, the other the one,
Dualities transcend me and you.

The Silence of a Library
David J Walker

Here is where I will live
Beyond the fear
of the coming death
And its imagined motif

Find me on 26th street
at the park with my friends on
a cool summer evening
laughing about the coming
unfamiliar days we fear

Some design their own white robes and
Gilded ropes braided around their waists
differentiating the
gender of cherubs

Some accept the silence and
the blackness of the nothingness
of not knowing

Some await the inevitable alternative universe
Created to suit the nature of the attendants

Some practice the celibacy and the silence of
The library with books to confirm their convictions

But we will play volleyball as the sunsets
And the temperature drops
The lights come on automatically

And we play until the dawn and
Fall asleep between the swing sets

Blind Facts

People speak of wondrous rainbows
Many colors to behold
I only wish that I could see them
Color blindness, getting old

Then they talk of fields of green
Lovely shades, lovely hues
I only wish that I could enjoy them
As all of you, I really do

The many vibrant colored spectrums
Is always lost on the likes of me
I can not make out all the colors
I wish I could, but cannot see

People ask me how I get dressed
Matching trousers to the top
Oh, all the times that I have heard this
I wish the questions would just stop

Growing up and drawing pictures
Kids made fun of what I drew
The grass was brown, the sky was purple
What was a six year old, to do?

Now I’m grown up, yet still happens
People ask me all the time
Driving through those red lights, hey there,
Isn’t that a punishable crime?

The crime, in fact, is not the seeing
The many colors of the sun
Differentiating between them all
Is something I wish, but never done

So if you see me wearing purple
And my pants are brown or green
Do not laugh, please understand
Because your comments can be mean

The Year 2018 and Beyond

ARTICULATING.

SPECULATING.

DIFFERENTIATING.

DISINTEGRATING,

OF THINKING OF A NEW YEAR APPROACHING.

DREAMING.

DESIRING,

OF A MORE HARMONIOUS FUTURE,

OF A MORE PRESENT NOW,

AND OF A MORE RESOLVED PAST.

OUR PATH IS SET NOW,

WITH MANY CHOICES ALONG THE WAY.

ALL WE NEED IS THE COURAGE TO MOVE FORWARD.

LET'S WELCOME THIS NEW YEAR,

WITH LOVE,

AN OPEN HEART,

AND PEACE.
