Over The Horizon, Dedicated To Andrea

Beyond normal sight and imagination
Tho' perhaps a dear new sensation.
Hidden rainbows kiss blue skies
shall we issue cries?
Love begs not
Lies
to thus blot
out what truth decries
as life's greedy little tries
to dismiss such new titillations.
Beyond normal sight and imagination.

Quote:
If there were no night, we would not appreciate the day,
nor could we see the stars and the vastness of the heavens.
We must partake of the bitter with the sweet.
There is a divine purpose in the adversities we encounter every day.
They...

Premium Member Nothing Lasts Forever
When distance circles the shoreline
Painfully , a numb breeze decries
How our lackluster glance mirrors
Frail changing of hesitant eyes.
Across night’s starkly blunt edges
Fondness dangles like threadbare reeds;
Knowing warmth is not forever
When moonless summer’s rapture bleeds.
~

My spirit homeless now admits,
This fleeting affair… love resists.

Premium Member Only English Poems Are Allowed
It's too bad there are only English poems allowed,
For I found the most beautiful poem,
the most exact, precise, lush, and sustainable string of words.
But they are from another planet,
A separate universe,
An odd community.

But the words,
Their meaning,
Transfixes time,
Melts the moment.
Decries of new gods.
Turns the very grains...

Cuddles
yes cuddles would be very nice,
with all the sweetness, damn the price,
come sit on my lap and wait for a rise,
restrain me and enjoy me,

come join me at the table,
 behind the door of green,
where i can take control of you,
 and enter...

as trickles hum to glossy oaks and skies---

come waltz me in the symphony of rain

enshrining charms adored .... though moon decries

love gone: just let night’s movement whirl again.

Goodbye Means Goodbye
GOODBYE MEANS GOODBYE

You seem to be still feeling down.
Domestic violence decries.
You dragging your feet now.
It’s time for your spirit to shine.
No need to cry.
Wipe the tears from your eyes.
The melodramatic days you have left behind.

You left that man now you want to cry.
Is he worth...

The Pied Piper from New York City – Part One

Dare his name be said?
I say, of course, Yes!

The Pied Piper, himself, is the man, the myth, the legend.
And they, the so-called incurious lot of the hoi polloi in
American society, are the ones who accept...

No Goodbye

Tears fall, gone the smile so warm, the light of our day.
Where are those deep gentle brown eyes? Doe’s eyes!
Why you, so small, so innocent. Why did you have to go away?

Where do I find an answer? Why were you the one to pay?
I must...

Know That
Not all thy fight is flesh and blood
know that it's spiritual;
you cannot win against this flood
the only way out, is God for sure.

Who may they be? thou tempt to ask
do not be scared, for you shall know;
Heavenly beings, to God they task
tear up your flesh,...

Premium Member Beat Your Wife, Cause Is Right
Yes modernization is here
Islamic rules have made it clear
Pick up a small stick
And beat her to the wick

Make her understand
Obey your command
Pakistan is the modern land
Live like a man and beat at command

Only though because you care
To make her subservient and thus obey
She must follow...

FOR GOD SO LOVED [JOHN 3:16]

Love Song Ii
Within, without, the
sound of hope
decries,
a place so soft, so
small it begs to
live
in heart - in mind.
In sea of calm set
sail
to dream of spell so
sweet; so kind this
home,
and still this spot.
To touch this grace,
as when
we die; to rest in
sleep before this
dawn becomes
this day. And still
we are...
