A Nation Lost

When did it happen
that we became
a nation of haters?
Not just the few hate groups,
but millions of us.

What happened that
we have turned neighbor
against neighbor?
Caused people to be afraid
to pray outside of their
chosen sanctuary?
Made small children fear
their parents will be taken away?

When did it become okay
to mock disabilities,
to prey on people’s insecurities?
We had made progress,
though much still needed to be done.
With just one single election,
we took a giant leap
into the past,
dredging up old divisions and
creating new ones.

Threatened is the security
of health care,
carving away hard-earned benefits
of the indigent and elderly,
cutting food stamps for
those who are most needy,
decimating the environment for greed,
depriving our children and grandchildren
of their rightful inheritance,
destroying Nature’s good earth.

But forget religion of any kind.
We now worship money.
Democracy? Forget that, too.
Our oligarchy is healthy
and growing healthier every day.
But don’t ever give up!

Do not slip quietly into
the land of darkness and hate.
Speak up. Fight for truth.
It is up to all of us to shine light
into the blackness and work to
restore goodness and democracy
to our nation.

The Bullet From My Gun

The Bullet from My Gun

I am propelled like a bullet from a gun barreling through space,
Through your flesh,
Through the time you have misspent on this Earth now ending,
Too late to regret the bending trigger of my gun.

I penetrate your vagina,
Your mind,
Your sense of inner self,
Tearing through your false resistance like a runaway train.

I cannot stop, I am momentum now.
Ripping through your many lives,
Decimating your hopes for the peace tomorrow that now will never come.
Because my trajectory is certain and yours is a wet pipe dream.

You are obliterated into fragments by the curling of my finger.
Now Isis will never find you.
Fear is still a man’s best friend:
And a little pressure goes a long ways.

Life On Mars

If there is life on Mars they won't want us.
That's because we're so corrupt.
Even mice on Mars would have more sense
than we on Earth who are so dense.

If they see us coming, they'll get their guns.
Blast us to pieces, have their fun.
No planet would accept we silly fools.
After decimating, desecrating, leaving pools

of blood and bodies on our wasted land.
Earth's survival did not go to plan.
Move over Mars, we're wading in,
to pillage, plunder and commit sin

against all living things that breathe.
That may support us, if you please.
So dumb and dimwitted earthlings be
They eat you whole, just for their tea.

Put up a STOP sign, warn them well.
Then empty all your nuclear shells.
If there's life on Mars, they won't want to die.
So, so long earthlings...adieu...goodbye.

Premium Member Nature's Alluring Song

Inviting is the vibrant smile, glistening visage of spring
Exciting sensuous hearts in nature’s alluring song
Sighting on marigold arc rising blush of magenta
Lighting dawn’s flamboyance awaited all winter long.

Blazing colors adorn exuberance of flaming-red lilies
Gazing at flowering trees, lilting in tender breeze
Raising tempo of romantic dreams, yearning bliss
Praising gift of ruby roses--beauty blushing to please.

Raining upon parched vegetation new season unfolds
Gaining on glumness of drought giggling river flows
Waning reign of sluggish tones in rear view mirror
Staining sunlit horizon gold, decimating frosty woes.

Sowing crops, tilling lands, farmers under the sun toil
Crowing about growing corn, weather mild, blue sky
Glowing in vibes of new life, hearing chicks’ feeble cries
Showing off emerald vistas where singing Blue Jays fly.

Premium Member The Life of Death

dark she rode stealth into the night
 grasping unsuspecting souls at will

 flagrantly impudent and remorseless
 decimating dauntless troops
 she showed no clemency

 under the veil of night
 in muffled silence swept
 shrouded death in full flight
 while angels stood and wept

 bereft forewarning
 shells of bodies stacked behind
 confiscated souls
 how fleeting the illusion
when passes the life of death

Temptation's Touch

TEMPTATION'S TOUCH
-----------------------------
His palm soothes the ridges
Furrowed in her starlight skin
Her masseur, he replenishes
Each and every aching extremity
The chiming bells of his strokes
Ring again and again
Summoning her to his lair
Collaged in deep affinity
Her rock solid attraction
Draws her savory soul
Into a lustrous world
She's never seen nor known
A vibrant virgin caressed
Then clasped by her first
Drowns her soul in his lake
To diffuse her thirst
Heaven's hallowed sheet
At last drops her drapes
Unveiling her cast concealed
Behind the stage
Lines from her script
Long lavished in capes
Sifts and locks his eyes
Embellished by each page
Chastity's cloud exiles
Then expurgates her existence
Extracted by he who
Extricated her innocence
Alive and awake, she shows
Herself just the same
Fluorescent radiant flower
Who bears a different name
Restlessly she reclines
Atop her apple green ground
While her heart percussions
Her wedded lover's sound
Each tantalizing twine
Designs his touch so sweet
Tightly tying the tongue
Of the tasting rose
Flooded in fervent favor
From Gehenna's heat
Deteriorating the stem
Decimating her pose

Online Dating Wolf In Waiting

On line date
Is no way to find your soulmate
It will leave you anticipating
Met with a wolf in waiting
From all the concentrating
That leads to more debating

Because they all want to lie
Hoping you will just let it pass on by
No matter how hard you try
Online dating is just one big pie
Full of men and women who won't
Look you in the eye

Constantly asking yourself why
Getting close enough to make you cry
As more time seems to pass you by
Can't find the one who makes your heart fly
Hearing so many of them lie

I fear that love does not grow here
Makes me just want to disappear
When so many want to make a career
Out of Making us fear
The love we want to feel so near
To deceive your good trust
While making you believe they are in lust

It's all one big bust
They claim that they are in love
In reality, they are no turtle dove
More like today's scammer
Waiting to clobber you with a big hammer

We need to put them all in the slammer
For being a wolf in waiting
Decimating loves gifts
To those who are willing to bare it all
Making sure not to fall

We all hope to find waiting at loves gate
Ready to negotiate
What keeps us up so late
The love we all appreciate
The one that makes us feel so great
That scammers just decimate

The more I concentrate
Im sure that others have found
Their soul mate
No way I want to complicate
The love I appreciate
I think I will just wait
To meet loves fate
Face to face

Coda

Humans are moving into space and beyond
The planet they call home will soon be dead
and gone
They succeeded doing what none did before
Killing a planet where life prospered millions
of years or more
Destruction began with animal resources
Then draining the earth of all its life forces
Earth's atmosphere didn't escape the
decimating act
It was the last to go in actual fact
They built a space vehicle …a latter day
Noah's ark
And they're now lost in space in cosmos'
frozen dark
They haven't a plan on where they'll go
But found the universe is a rocky horror

Simians Seek Sybaritic Satiation

tens of thousands years ago
(a figurative out in left field ball park figure)
*****Sapiens (or the forebears of said species),
     deliberately sought sensate satisfaction

     with deliberate zeal
shucking clothes
(perhaps just an animal pelt hiding pubes)
     answering (on a private line),

     the call of the wild,
not yet verboten feral common weal
way before the identification of venereal
disease (though most likely

germinal forerunner), yet to rank
     as demise forecasting deterministic,
     fetishistic, hedonistic inviting
Gonorrhea, Herpes, Syphilis, et cetera to an unveil

ling, then (of course) average life span
of primate predecessors brief, nasty, and short,
thus demise from sexually transmitted disease
     unlikely the cause of death,

nor spelled catastrophe that would seal
the fate of mankind unlike the here and now,
     when the Apocalypse Israel
aside from conflagration

     decimating Rohingya's, Uighur's, Yazidi's,
     countless other minority populations
     severe distress they feel
plus Middle Eastern countries got a raw deal

subjected to their own variety of slaughter,
which genocide ranks as Syria us injustice
     calling for immediate appeals,
     injunctions, sanctions humanitarian appeal

against inhumane abominations,
     terrorization, violations
     rather than passively witness
     innocent lives being trumped.

Predilections of the Phallic Beast

Adulterous besieging capstone damnation

Money- the Poisonous Honey

As powerful as an earth tremor that can tear the clinged earth plates apart,
As strong as a lie that can break the glass of trust into pieces,
As significant as a plastic face that can easily wipe out deformities,
As realistic as a fake smile that can turn twinkling eyes into an endless ocean,
As terrible as the hunger cry of an abandoned child.

Dangerous to the extent of rising forest fire,
Decisive to the extent of a fake friend,
Dominant to the range of an unethical political voice,
Indecent to the core of an uneducated mind,
Unexpected as the danger of a shipwreck.

As menacing as -

a brick of betrayal that could break the brawny wall of honesty,
one toxic drop that could turn His adorable Adam into a lump of ash,
a single fire spark that could snatch the
food away from the innocent forest life
a luring pitcher tube that could melt the little life in its juices.

The root of vengeance
The seed of sorrow
The decimating desire
The minacious avarice

And that rules the kings,
Governs the supreme power,
Mortifies the stony broke mob,
Banishes even the brilliance and virtuosity

It's not just a piece of printed paper,
Not just a coin of stamped metal.

Salute to you dear specie
Kudos to you dear penny
You are Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omnificent.

Of Deepest Dream II

Deep inside the deepest realms where I reside
Were fragments of the day's holocaust
Finds windows to darkest dreams

So dark they can gestate resinate contemplate
Sinister things and ancient beings were
There be nightmares, my inner sight dares

As days cast forms into thoughts
Cresting deep into empty cluttered halls
These crowed rooms of my disorderly mine

They like briars from a windy shore where waves
Roar along a desolate beach blares white fleeting
Feeling something dark dire oily reeks

I find it stuck…

Deep in my mind like seedlings both
of horror and divine germinate resonate
with wild fantasies like tornadoes decimating my soul,
my dreamscapes where mental hurricanes conspire.

As deities flock like ravens at black masses
the burning landscapes…

Passes.

They breakdown the daily images,
the ethereal words, the feelings at play
recycle it back to my decay…

These things can be inspiring
or insane but found in the deepest of my dreams…

One can find new worlds
to explore alternative realities…

Were I may decide to roam,
or to know different universes
or to burn the worlds, my inner soul

In the deepest of dreams or nightmares, bold!

or

annihilate this rarest of earth.

Pray For Us

This earth quakes and shakes beneath our feet.
And in these six minutes my life flashed before
Me... Has mother earth turned her back on us.
Inducing fear.

Black waves crash against shores unaware..
washing away life that once abundantly flowed.
Will these dark and angry seas never subside.
decimating homes-
destroying lives.

With our dreams melted to the core we watch
as a cloud spreads, not from the sky but from
Mans Energetic ambition.
Inciting panic-
demolishing dreams-
Polluting water.

But this moment of pain and destruction isn't
insurmountable. For waters can be cleansed,
panic and fears will be calmed,
homes can be rebuilt,
We will live to dream another night,
And the lives we've once lived will be restored.

We will recover from the disaster that has
befallen us. Because we were, are and
always will be a strong, resilient and beautiful
people. And the splendor of Japan will never cease.

Now in this most bleak of moments, and the
strongest of test of our will.
Pray for our home land..
Pray for our recovery..
Pray.. For us.

Beauty Lost - Echo Poetry

Me. What beauty catches one's eye?
Echo. May I?
Me. Please do elaborate my friend.
Echo. My friend?
Me. The beauty all around us, all life.
Echo. All life?
Me. From unseen with the naked eye!
Echo. Naked eye?
Me. A microscope opens up a new world.
Echo. Unfurled?
Me. Layers peeled back microbes seen.
Echo. Microbe scene.
Me. Could be first time recorded
Echo. Recorded?
Me. I'd like to say evolution rules!
Echo. Evolution rules?
Me. Once a fact but we have become fools
Echo. Fools?
Me. Extant life dying off fast!
Echo. Off fast.
Me. There are thoughts on how long we'll last.
Echo. You'll last?
Me. Pollution decimating habitats!
Echo. Your habits?
Me. Human habits overtaking nature!
Echo. Human nature?
Me. Long lost to things unnatural, hate and war!
Echo. Hate, you sure?
Me. Countries building fences!
Echo. Defences?
Me. Against a better way of life for some.
Echo. For some?
Me. New life will be the only way.
Echo. The only way?
Me. For sure, new life in abeyance
Echo. A chance?
Me. We'll not be around to see it ratified.
Echo. Rats alive?
Me. No, life as we know it won't survive.
Echo. You alive?
Me. No, these words I wrote before we all died!
Echo. All died
Me. New life, our future, we, ourselves denied!
Echo. H e l l o, h e l l o, h e l l o...

Premium Member An Object Called Life

A thing possessed by power desires exert
turns into an object inanimate and inert.
A life untainted and vibrant if captured
by the bloodstained clutch of lust tart
rolls like fallen beads, the string ruptured.

The senses drenched in acidic insolence
don’t repent for a moment the presence
in dismal heart the perennial obsession
of fostering desires in their grey essence,
decimating the spirit of their possession.

A body accessed by instincts of desire vile
existence is no longer animated, it’s futile.
The sunken piteous mind breaks asunder
at threshold of disgrace where disdains pile.
Where has sanity gone, times don’t ponder.

The conception called life adored and prized
a precious treasure to be preserved with pride.
When it wrecks to crumble in an object ravaged
the heart spawns hatred stowing love aside
and doesn’t find a place for the soul shamed.
