Frozen pants dance stiffly
to the mad beat of sapless
drumsticks choreographed
by a wicked whimsy of the
winds baton. Birds cling
tightly knowing that if the
gale subsides for but a moment
they will fall over, be blown
like feathered fur balls on
lone unchartered trips. Cats
hiss in meek response...

Current Events
Between
headland and
headland currents, strong,
circle, swirl,
swivel
and catapult
themselves around around.

Between
headland and
headland the distance
never lessens
but
grows year
by year leaving
between them
cold
steel
sea....

Current Events Commentary
Do you think I care
For your phony Arab spring
And dead trees and hot wind
I have never seen a spring without seed popping from the soil
I should know I am made from the dust of the earth
Spring must have rain and bring flowers
Like the peace...

Ignorance and evil remain — it’s easy to tell —
Around the world, still alive and well
No matter how much we pray, scream and yell,
“Please! Learn something from history, not pell-mell,
Before those ego’s ideas devour us all cell by cell.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) - Police have arrested a woman they say robbed a South Bend

My Latest Current Events Poetry

Trump like Pinocchio lied and nose did protrude,
And many people it appeared he would delude;
Even we knew,
Scheme up brew;
With jaundiced eye witnesses and rivals viewed.

We wonder who next by Trump would be fired;
He desired another nitwit that should be hired;
Would you...

He Came To Them In Sheep's Clothing
One day an evil man came to them in sheep’s clothing,
To lead them into his evil ways he was hoping.
So treacherous and evil was this ravenous wolf,
Feeding off of their ignorance while he played golf.
So fine he was in the art of deception,
So ignorant were...

*** Truly? ***

As Trump continues trying to explain,
And science will truly someday
Get it right to prove:
That life is a matter of enchantment,
That mirrors do know
  Who is the fairest of them all;
That any “Save the Earth” green
Movement is voiced by the...

The 2nd Trump Presidency Begins

To express my own Whitmanesque
"barbaric yawp", constrained by
internal (and external) barriers,
mentally constipated, I merely mutter,
feel pressures steadily mounting.
Hesitant, I expel grunts and breaths --
disinhibit streams of consciousness,
encourage verbal fluidity, ease
the heaviness I feel, the weight
upon my chest. I breathe deeply.
Physiological...

The Middle
This isn't the middle the beginning or the end
This is the middle of the beginning of the end
acting like children
Don't try to pretend
you can't see
  The hidden agenda
within
They're telling us lies
and feeding us sin
Structurally damaged
you're letting them win
Unite we must
Divided...

A health risk were ordered to strip naked
Had to shower to become clean this ploy
Caused public humiliation, and showed

Also to your own house that was
Useless in its 'so called mission'
And in fact caused a rise...
