Best Climb The Highest Mountain Poems

Premium Member If I Could

If I could,
...I'd stroll with you in a lovely Autumn wood
and gather every golden leaf to save them in a book
on each one we'd write our dreams and all our special thoughts
to read throughout our lifetime of the joys that we've partook.

If I could,
...I'd climb the highest mountain I can find
and reach into the heavens, to take down every star
I'd put them in a velvet box and keep them by my side
to light your darkest midnight in your search for who you are.

If I could,
...I'd find a stream, a gentle babbling brook,
and squirrel away each precious stone, each memory we've made,
each pebble strewn across your life to keep you warm and safe,
and gentle thoughts of you and I, will make you unafraid.

If I could,
...I'd ride a wave from Auckland to Peru
and capture every pearl I can, with love I will imbrue,
I'd weave them with a thread of gold and keep them in a bag
and write upon a golden tag, "This wisdom's just for you."

If I could,
...when time draws nigh and life is near its end,
and when your final tear drop begins to fill your eye
I'll lie myself beside you and hold you in my arms,
with tender touch, my soft warm lips will kiss your tear drop dry.

and...

If I could,
...lying there with bag and box and book
hand and hand in whispered hush, I promise that I'll try
to speak of simple pleasures, and moments that we've shared
of dreams of us together as eternity goes by.

If you were the sun
And I were the moon
I'd lay here silently
Fade into you
I guess I wanted you more
Then what your heart could bare
You always said if I was by your side
You could climb the highest mountain
Streaking sunsets across the sky
Painting rainbows across my heart
You said there was beauty in my laugh
As true beauty came from my kindness
You are a dream inside of a dream
You are whispers on the wind to my heart
Can you not find your way back to me
I guess the road of us was too long
For your heart to understand

If I Could Love You Now

If I could see you …

I'd be there in a hurry

Climb the highest mountain to find you

I'll brave the fiercest storm to be behold you, with my eyes

If I could kiss you again...

I'd kiss you over and over

Won't miss one single moment together

My arms would hold you closer than ever, to my heart

If I could love you now...

I'd love you like it is forever

Like a great king and his treasure

I'll guard while you're sleeping and thank each star I'm with you tonight

If I could love you... If I could love you now

Imagination fills our heart with delights
Fairies, leprechauns, dragons, and such,
Doing things with a mere transient hunch
Taking us to see most remarkable sights
We can only experience in wildest dreams,
Real in our childhood, lost as we slowly age
Comes a time we dismiss wizard and sage.
But, I still believe in wishes and sunbeams
I see no harm in wishing on a distant star
Or tossing a coin in a beautiful fountain,
Believing we can climb the highest mountain
Or travel to exotic places calling from afar.

A golden key in my hand
Perhaps it opens the door to a secret room
Pandora's box - seeking total freedom through love

Will the future be controlled by the past
Sentimental thoughts - heart grabs the soul
A dew drop is laying like jelly and shaking

    It seemed almost impossible
    Your words lift me up
I can climb the highest mountain

Living present in hope and love
The silence sinks in ... tears born of flames
    Empty thoughts sets no trace

My Vacation

It's time to take a holiday
My friends have told me so
I said okay that is fine
But it is as to where I should go?

I could go all the way to blazes
Or drop by Heavens way
Or I could go where no home
Would have me not or would have me stay.

I could take a journey southward
Or go nowhere at all
I could just climb the highest mountain
Knowing I could never fall.

Well I told you all the places
Around the world I'd like to go
So you must be getting very tired
"So why don't you tell me where to go?"

Eo-Eo

I got my glasses and my teeth
My wallet and my phone
Two sets of keys
Oh, where's my eo-eo?

Have you seen my eo-eo?
I never leave home without it
I can't believe I lost my eo-eo
For the third time today

It's my free eo-eo
I got it at the kin
Has anybody seen my free kin eo-eo?

I dare not ask Saint Anthony
I'm in debt to him
You only get so many finds
Especially for a eo-eo
And then you're cut off, you have to pay

I'll swim the deepest ocean
Climb the highest mountain
I'll search the galaxy
Check out every star

I'll never make it through the day
I'll have to find another way

Sweet Mother

Trigga...click..boom-bang..sounding like a beat box!!!!
My woman...my everything
Through the spoken word i was produced
Wish i could climb the highest mountain and scream "mum! i love u"
The woman of the cross and with the crown
My precious egg and my all in all..

You are the wind that blows my name at night.
The sweet bird that cry's out ma name at de sight of a new day!!!
You are the beautiful flowers, the bees never miss!!
The warm beach the sun kisses in the afternoon!!!!!
A mum like no other!!!

My mum!!!! My best friend!! priceless
A heart like yours is my desire
A heart like yours;mum,...is what am searching for
sweet mother...i no go forget u

You will say.."without my children..my house will be clean my wallet will be full but my heart will be empty"
With Christ in the vessel she's a warrior
with the joy of daddy she's a virtuous woman
Your prayers has kept me this far

On this day..i pray that your laughter never ceases
You will live to enjoy the fruits of your hopeful endurance!!
Your prayers are surely and really working
You are best thing that ever happened to me!!

My multitasking woman
To me..you are ideal
forever in my heart...you will remain
my woman!!!my everything!!!

If I Could.

I would climb the highest mountain, for you
 if you asked me to.
I would swim the ocean for you,
 if only I could.
That sounds all well and good,
there is some thing I have not told you.
A mountain I can not climb,
I hate looking down,
an ocean I can not swim,
water is definitely not my thing.
I would build a house for you but
I can not promise it will stand,
when it comes to do it yourself
I have two left hands.
How about I sing for you
not a good idea,
my voice is so high
I could shatter your glass from here.
There must be some thing I can do
to show how I feel about you.
I will dedicate this poem to you,
now that is some thing I can do.

Free

Someday I will be free
To sing and hum, to dance and sway
Over the hills and far away
And even a thousand miles away

Someday I could climb a tree
To feel the breeze and feel free
Talk to as many as I could
Even to the stars at night I would

Now I would cross the deepest ocean
Climb the highest mountain
Shout out to others 'I'm free!"
Even my lungs would burst out at last 'I'm free!'

From Now On

From now on
I will dance as if on fire -
And when I say on fire – I mean sporadic dancing is the only form I know.
I am told I dance like a white girl
I look them in the face, eyes blazing.
Do I look like anything else?
From now on,
I will write as if I am Emily Dickinson, Virginia Woolf and Silvia Plath
And what I mean by that is - they suffered from the same debilitating illness I do, so maybe I can learn to weave what feels like a death sentence into something beautiful and life preserving.
I force feed myself drugs, this is the only way that I can make this wet blanket of hopelessness peel itself off of me. The residue of wet melancholy will never leave, but hey, when did I start believing in miracles?
I pray to a God I don’t even believe in, hoping that I will not end up with my head in the oven, confined to my home or water filled lungs.
From now on,
I will be a lioness,
I will not fall for the handsome price in the Disney movies I gulped down as a child, thirsty for the "idea" of love. I will not be the innocent, sweet, pure princess –
I will no longer be a wall flower, with innocent eyes, waiting in her high tower for a righteous prince to come to her rescue. No my dears,
I will be the dragon
Lungs full of fire,
Eyes full of desire
Fangs, waiting to pierce the flesh of any man who thinks I cannot save myself,
I will make the ground rock with my presence!
From now on!
I will be a ferocious shark within the sea of mass production
My soul, older than the fossilized bones of yesteryear
The trappings of regret and hope intertwine - causing a fuse so strong, so bright – that even I am blinded by its vehemence confusion.
From now on, I will scream -
I am no new soul,
I am no naive, fragile adolescent -
No, I’ve walked these roads filled with vile and contempt before
People and their viscous words fill my head – But they do not know
Their hateful words are no match for the distain and disgust I have for myself!
This soul has walked down a road of self-made abhorrence -
I can cross fire -
I can swim the deepest of waters -
I can climb the highest mountain –
Without batting an eye!
From now on –
From now on
From now on!

Calling You Home

Calling You Home
It's not my business what you do
On your journey through life but I promise true
If you drift too far from sanity
By gamblin', boozin', smokin', and tokin' to get a high
All that is worthy will pass you by
And one day , like me, you will realise
It's too late to try.......to change

If you want a natural high first you gotta get free
From all addictions preventing you from becoming
The prince God intended you to be
You must be willing to look Truth in the eye
Man wasn't born to crawl; man was mean't to fly
Rebuke every alibi and aim for the sky
You can do it..you've an Ally

Deep within you there is a Strength
Without boarders in depth, width or length
Draw from that Power whose presence is nigh
All you'll need, that Source is able to supply
 Evict procrastination from your heart
Resist hesitation and make a start
If you do your best the Spirit will do His part
 Absolutely
Once you feel the embrace of Victory
 Over everything preventing true liberty
You will soar like an Eagle and laugh at calamity
Gaining the courage of a lion
 The meekness of a lamb
 The cleverness of a fox
And you will climb the highest mountain
 And stand..with head held high
 Not because you succeeded independently
But bended as the Willow to the guidance of Wisdom
 And Honesty

Someone once said, "Life is short" and I know that's true
I'd grieve if what happened to me happens to you
Because I wasted at least 40 years
You cannot undo what's been done
Memories of stupid choices , you can delete none
You've youth and there is still time
But the clock is ticking and it won't rewind
 However, you can turn around
If you believe you're on a path Hell-bound
Peace of mind and joy are among the sweetest treasures
 Ever known
If you listen with your heart, you will hear them,

The Incredible Clever Me

In the wink of an eye
Half a century has gone,
Did I stop to smell the roses,
Was I jubulent in song?

Did I succeed at anything
Or master a chosen art?
Oh at times I was incredible,
Sometimes even smart.

I've had it all, and lost it
Then had it all again,
I've sold my soul to the devil,
And watched him suck me in.

If I could do it over
I'd do it all exact,
There would be nothing left undone
Everything would be in tack.

I'd climb the highest mountain,
And swim the deepest sea,
The world would stop and notice
The Incredible, Clever Me.

Eternity

Let me be your prince charming
At least let me try
Becase baby i love you till the day that i die

I would climb the highest mountain just to see you
Id even swim the stormiest ocean just to be near you
These words i engrave on a tablet of stone
These words will ring true long after im gone

Eternity is forever and a day
Thats how strong my love is you see
can you even hear the words i say

I even have the answers to every question you ask
Im the mystery man of your dreams
The man in the mask

So when everybody has long turned to dust
and the sun no longer falls in the evening at dusk
My love travels the very fabric of space
What im trying to say is you can feel my love no matter the time or place

To Please

To please everyone is...
To climb the highest mountain.
Dive to the very bottom of the sea.
Hold your breath for twenty minutes.
Hug the Great Wall Of China.
Live for days without water.
Go to Antarctica for a day in shorts and a tank-top.
Swim every ocean in two days time.
Bungee jumping off Mount McKinley.
Run across the U.S. in two days.
To please everyone is to please no one.
