Best Call Down Poems
Blurry thoughts, hurried thoughts, they need to settle down.
Too tired to move, to worn out to groove, I'm frustrated all around.
Crazy voice, I have no choice, I want to surrender to sweet sleep.
Twisted thinking, racing blinking, my mind is an overgrown trash heap.
Eyes wide, I cannot hide, the redness of my inflaming anger
Too little relief, too much grief, the warning signs flash Danger danger.
I'm on overload, so I am told, need to shut my lethargic eyes.
Trying to sleep, car horns beep. can't they hear my cries.
My body is done, before the day has begun and it's only half past nine.
I hear you call, down the hall, pillow why can't you be mine.
Tic tock, goes the clock, the day is dwindling, departing from me.
Sleep, blessed sleep, is what I need, why can't anyone see.
Eyes burn, to close I yearn, my fists are clenched tight
This I can't take, going to break, I know it isn't right.
Shut down, the world around, this is my last attempt at sanity.
If I'm still awake, I will break, and you better stay away from me.
Night falls, my bed calls, the feeling is beyond compare.
Tossing, turning, salty eyes stinging, at the ceiling I still stare.
Dreams of perfect love
Beautiful endeavors
this path on which we stroll
Tempting are the visions
on flowing fields a’ roll
Echoes sing our praises
of worlds we both have seen
Now we are together
and life is but a dream
Sunset early evenings
soft the twilight breeze
Rustling poetic
through patterns in the trees
Shadows sing so sweetly
as they dance upon the view
Now we are together
its like a dream come true
Love beyond the borders
into our hearts does leap
Glistening on amber waves
forever we shall keep
Atop the highest mountain
we call down from above
Now we are together
in dreams of perfect love
Good night Soupers
i’ve goosebumps
bold and shrill
pinpoints that peak
my arms once relaxed
and warm
but shadows reveal
boy and father silhouettes
alongside the jagged fireplace stone
and a creaking uttered
in the bowels of the floor underneath.
i’ve goosebumps
bold and shrill
pinpoints that peak
i slowly
breathe
an icy breath
as if
room temperature’s
dropped
below freezing.
i’ve goosebumps
bold and shrill
pinpoints that peak
recalling
how my cousin
saw
the chair
rocking
with nobody there.
i’ve goosebumps
bold and shrill
pinpoints that peak
but from my innermost place,
i slap myself
a couple times:
‘put your big girl panties on’
i turn up the lights
*broadway on steroids*
and call down peace.
for though i can believe in such things,
my greater belief
supersedes.
my arms
are once again warm —
flesh and blood
prevails!

“Pearl Diving” (Part 2)
Angel fish are pretty, but they’re boring that’s they’re lot
the Man O War is far too flashy, frivilous,
Octupi are too touchy feely always begging for the real thing way too early,
the Dolphins always laugh out loud, they’re overly boisterous show-offs
always trying to call the shots;
perhaps she’s best off lying in her Clamshell tight and small
for she is understanding now
the Clamshell has cast a spell o’er her
to stop all creatures in the deep from
hijacking her magic powers.
It’s comfortable and very warm, no need to leave her purse,
how could she leave what’s she’s only ever known behind;
better to sleep forever with the Clamshell as her nurse...
dream her dreams,
keep very still -
it couldn’t get much worse.
She’s shiny and she’s aged just right
the Clamshell protects her from the light,
she’s not a real jewel anymore
she’s a bottled up narcotic bright,
a little white pill zipped up in her hardened purse
to numb out all that sunken hurt.
He swims down to get a deeper look
the sunlight now dappling through the
hottest deepest lure of blue
thrashes his legs much harder now
to get the closest view.
He sees the sharks surrounding her
he checks his dorsal fin
he’s now become a predator
and she his treasure there within,
to somehow prize and shuck her
from her clammy milky mucous shell.
Such a beautiful sin he grinned and thought for a nano-second,
“Maybe I can win”.
Somewhere in the distance from the surface way up above,
he hears a mermaid call down to him, her silky voice enticing him,
her echolocation surrounding him,
through all those other fish making such a blasted bubbly din,
“It’s mine.” the voice whispers mysteriously in his ears, “ I’m playing this, it's mine, a life to win”.

Look at yourself Mr Hunt!
How can you be trusted.
Appalled by indoor comments of a prisonary view.
Native species fade through the mass destruction of our lands,
Yet you in the veil of science
Conserve a ruthless plan.
Poison takes on innocents
Have you not learned life's lesson
To see myxomatosis ravage, rage and burn in the devil's reflection.
Yet you. Oh no! Yes you
Believe that what you do is best
For future preservation, to ensure your culling's met
By eager fools in genocide
On the islands of your shore.
The year 2020 you will celebrate I'm sure.
But me and others like me
We grow older by the day
Bardot tried to implore you
In an intellectual way.
Blighted by your lack of vision
To impose a steady hand,
To inject mass steralisation
That would retain you as a man.
The slow death and the shooting,
Toxic meat wrapped up in plunder.
Roll up. Roll up conservation
In the land we call down under.
Where are the people of God?
Where are the people who can stand for God?
Where are the new breed of our generation?
Where are the courageous men of God?
Who will raise the next Elijahs of God?
Who will raise the next generation of fire fighters?
Who will empower the youths and breed them?
Man Up! Man Up!! Let's man up for christ,
Let's become the world changers and history makers,
Let us take over the world for our God;
Jesus has paid the ransom for our sins.
Where are the Elijah's of our Lord jesus christ?
Who can stand against the modern Baals
And defend our faith in Christ Jesus.
The media world is waiting for us,
The entertainment sphere is waiting for us,
Let's take over the commercial sector,
The political, economy and educational sphere.
Man Up! Man up!! Man up for Christ,
Make a positive change and take charge,
Then nurture the nature of mankind.
We are the light and salt of the world,
Return to the old rugged cross, return to the cross
Man up and take dominion over sin and change for better.
Where are the Elijahs of our God?
Where are they?
Where are the moses of our God?
Where are the Elishas, Jeremiahs of our time?
Where are the Joshuas of God?
The joshua who can make the sun becomes black.
Where are the Esthers of our time?
Where are the Josephs of our time?
Where are the Isaiahs of our generation?
What would you like to be remembered for,
A praise for woman or a hypocracy of the Church?
Bribery and corruption, backbitting, stealing, confusion, regression, pains, immorality has taken the church we once called a holy place and no one to purge out the sins thereof.
Where are the Gideons of our Generation?
Where are the Johns of our God?
Are we going to allow satan take charge?
Why are we running from pillar to post?
We have lost our right in christiandom and sin has taken over our lives.
Where is our stand in christ's life?
Are we just christians in the lips?
Potopoto, kwamkwam, pinopino, christians?
Man up and take over, brother,
We are the new breeds of christ.
All the sphere of human endeanour are waiting for us
To call down fire.
Man up, take courage, man up for christ jesus.
A breath of love lifts the butterfly
'Pon delicate wings
Where a gentle current carries
It like a reigning king
There is a breath of love that sings
Lasting tunes to the throngs
As the birds of the day and night
Chirp from where they belong
There is a breath of love that sees
All that is right and wrong
And weeps soft raindrops at the harm
That breath to heal so longs
Soon that breath of love will call down
To hurting humanity
Come in the safety of the fold
To live eternally

Kind of Poulter's Measure
Aurora
Arctic prancing prism
Prize sky borne
Blue hunts red
Green seeks safety mountains deep
Ears yearn sound
Faithless Beloved
May javelins of light
Freeze your joy
Terrible splendor
Ice-pack this savage splintered heart
Crush my bones to match
Shout for me
Call down the avalanche
As you leave
Echo my name
Bury me in dazzle
If you dare
Can you smell the warm wax from the candles so bright?
Or see the winged creatures flying high in the night?
Is the wind blowing briskly and chilling your bones?
Does the nip in the air make you shiver and moan?
Then perhaps it has happened again as before
The children come knocking all night at the door.
The leaves on the ground swirl around all their feet
As they run to each house, Trick or treat! Trick or Treat!
"Its open" I call down the hall as they knock
Just listen and hear the great chimes from the clock.
I put all the candy and treats on the chair
Its there over-flowing, look in if you dare.
Please enter reach in take a handful or two.
Take more if you like, I made them for you.
Its "All Hallows Eve" and a long nights ahead
filled with laughing and chanting and waking the dead.
So don't be afraid all is not what it seems
Its only pretend time, its called Halloween!
Why you hate mi??
Why you hate mi and a god mi put first?
Bad mind mi, a Jesus broke the curse!! (2*)
God inna mi life, a him mi put first
Good over evil, a mi you can’t curse
His not my fate, mek your life get worst
Mi seek him first, so how mi life must be worst
Why you hate mi and a god mi put first?
Bad mind mi, a Jesus broke the curse!! (2*)
I love those how hate I, used I, and wish mi bad – a call down curse
Blessed love anyway, cause god inna mi life, a him mi put first
A praise him from mi heart, not from mi mind, and that’s the reason prosperity start
shine
Why you hate mi and a god mi put first?
Bad mind mi, a Jesus broke the curse!! (2*)
Love those who hate you, used you, and wish you bad, bad mind you, grudge you,
don’t like how you “trad.”
Do unto others, you want them do unto you
Harm no one, and let no one harm you, have faith in the lord, not in man!
So, why you hate mi and a god mi put first?
Bad mind mi, a Jesus broke the curse!! (2*)
Seek he first, and you life won’t be worst
Praise him from your heart, not from your mind
Have faith, work hard, and live out the hip
Abide by the rules, regulations, laws, and commandment sign
Put god first, materials behind
When you fall, get up same time
And don’t let the same thing catch you next time
I'm so bored with winter
Waiting for the thaw
That I spread mayonnaise on the ceiling
And Parkay on the walls
Chicken salad on the chandelier
Tuna on the couch
A sprinkle of some bacon bits
Straight out of the pouch
Grape jelly on the door jams
Peanut butter in the locks
We'll have them eating out of our hands
Like a Canadian Mayor smoking rock
(but only when he's drunk)
Pickle relish in the picture frames
Nutella smeared into the floor
A half a pound of hard salami
Nailed onto the door
A call down to the bakery
Order up some pumpernickel
Slap it on the outside
With the house fixins in the middle
Here you have our special
What you taste you'll soon find out
Welcome to Mike & Savannah's
Famous Sandwich House
Not a torch, a candle
marks the gate to life,
in peril for its faithfulness
and unafraid to die.
And were its flame extinguished
as a witness to devotion,
all the marchers, self-inflamed,
would know the victory
is of a new Jerusalem
from higher ground,
profound the wound
and sanctified the blood
imparted in its sacrifice.
Call down the city, floating
in your dome of stars.
Bow low before your deity
that rules within the heart,
transcendent, built of broken clay
and its own miracle,
the spring of day within.
To such the alleluias rise.
To one great cause
the armies march full-armored
underneath the banner
of their love,
and though impossible,
their everlasting dream

Money the root of all evil the way some people spend is really unbelievable
The lavish goods the cars the yachts even the rolex watch
Now I'm not a begrudger but come let's look at one another
Everyone should be treated like each other
We spend and we spend and some condescend turning their nose up to what's around the bend.
Not a care in the world for the hungry or the starving
These people are suffering day in day out as there labeled and tagged as the down and outs.
Do people forget we were brought up to respect and treat one another as if we were brother's.
So spare a thought for these so call down and outs and stop flaunting your riches and shoving it in their snouts.
All they ask for is a little help in their lives to ease their worries troubles and strifes.
Summer is ending, so begins fall
I am scared that the season will begin at all
Surrounded by people, and flinch at a call
Sit in a dark room with a chair at the wall
Should be outside with a rake and raking
Here inside at work and waiting
Home alone lying in bed
This month I lost my only friend
To a painful and abrupt end
Wake up in the morning and hear that he’s dead
Should be in the kitchen with cake that’s baking
Here inside at work and waiting.
Halloween comes with trick or treat
Or go to a party with people to meet
To creep and crawl with silent feet
And grope and fumble in darkness deep
Concentrate on something making
Here inside at work and waiting
Thanksgiving with my new family
November passes quite rapidly
Together with turkey, peas and tea
Advent begins in a cold grey sea
Winter is now and its breaking
I’m home inside at work and waiting
In December the birth of the son of God
I must remember what in his life he taught
Then sort the teachings out from a dark fog
Because Christmas is love not at all macabre
The frost grows on the lawn outside this morning
At the window inside at work and waiting
Happy New Year that begins with a seven
The angels above call down from heaven
To the earth below and meadows and oceans
Like the dough that sowed and rises when leavened
The days are short and nights sedating
In the kitchen alive at work and waiting
Is the vast bleakness a harbinger of Spring
When nature sets forth its most beautiful things
That grow quietly without sounds or rings
Or move about at night under moonlight scenes
With equal days and nights the equinox brings
The time flies by without break or sating
Here at work at home and waiting
The narrowing of choice, opaque or black?
Unconfident die castes vote ballot blank,
How has our circus bread become this bland?
What a diverse homogeneous blend,
All stitched to sleeves but less with blood to bleed,
Philosophy’s deep silenced sonar bleep,
Who knew the watch dogs had been put to sleep,
Medici summoned now with suits so sleek,
For their next trick Baal’s prophets call down sleet,
Then cloak us in their mortuary sheet,
Cold commissar eyes never lose death’s sheen,
A czar’s measure is taken in fleeced sheep,
How many million buys innocents’ cheep?
“mere statistics”, our comrade says, “what cheek!”,
Their power balances upon a check,
Rewritten history toward useful spring chick,
For fellow travelers and bovine chuck,
Reach into chest for the last missing chunk,
Doublethink starts with a skull cracking thunk,
Are indulged proxies all we have to thank?
By any other name the modern thane,
Sign here and soon all you see shall be thine,
The thirst for gods is legion, but none trine,
All dissention is dismissed in a trice,
Indentured mankind’s earmarked wholesale price,
Vaccine for thoughtcrime just the smallest prick,
The focus groupthink directs prompter’s prink,
Omerta code tells us what will reach print,
The emperor’s new crypt may need more paint,
Astute to take the questions not the pains,
Hedge bets on war and peace for greater gains,
The deadly chasm yawns less than it grins,
When all is dust, then will they cease to grind,
Triumvirate writes finale most grand,
The so called rulers occupy by grant,
Go test the spirits joined in graceless graft
