In stripling years,
I existed in the shadows.
God had given me reason,
Of Satan to dispose.

To change life’s direction,
I felt suddenly impelled.
But on my own, couldn’t break,
Sin’s chains that held.

Then at that moment,
Scaled eyes could see.
God had broken my chains,
And unveiled a new me.

Metamorphosis

Your transition is a miracle
A Divine orchestrated Oracle
Like the ever-changing caterpillar
Metamorphosed into a butterfly

 Graceful and Beautiful
 Bright and Colourful
Gracefully transforming its body
Spinning itself like a silky cocoon

For a season, it goes through pain
To renew the old nature again
Digesting and releasing enzymes
To dissolve all of its old tissues

It learns to creep and crawl
Then it learns to stand tall
Fashioned to fly and to soar
To kiss the beauty of a flower

He's made us priest and kings
And He's given you these wings
Spread these wings every day
And fly just like the butterfly

Premium Member Words of a Born Again Man

When I began to be born again
I no longer saw with the eyes of man
I began to see with spiritual eyes
I began to hear with a spiritual ear
My tongue formed words that my 'father' taught
As he filled my mind with his spiritual thoughts.

Ageless and ancient at once I became.
The 'Lord' calls me by a different name
Transfigured by 'Him' and his to keep
No shepherd has taken better care of his sheep.

Shall I tell you what my spirit eyes see
What lies beyond; what soon shall be
I must tell you with my spiritual tongue that my father taught
While he filled my mind with his spiritual thoughts
Speaking in tongues that none can hear save he who has a spiritual ear
I will spill the secret in a single breath, few though it be who pass this test

What lies beyond and soon shall be
Persist in Genesis 1, 2, and 3
Hear , think and speak oh spirit filled man
For now you know what no one else can.
A parable, another clue oh born again man I give to you
Six days have I labored and labor to write
What you now read so passes six nights

And now so that you do not sin, the spirit speaks lay down your pen
And take to you the Sabbath's rest, while men strive hard to pass this test.
The spirit speaks, a promise makes
That in the morning when I wake
Restored, renewed, reborn I'll take
My pen in hand and strive to make the work I had begun to make.

A work in progress, soon to be a part of all eternity
For times and times and times
Times three.

Born Again

I was born in sin and in sin did my mother conceive me;
I wallowed in my iniquities and allowed satan to deceive me.
I hurried out to do things which were not just and right;
Occasionally they were done during the day, but mostly at night.

It wasn't because I was ashamed, that's just when friends got together;
We'd party and have a good time no matter what the weather.
We dress for the occasion and stayed out all night long;
We were hard hearted and not listening to our parents sayng we were wrong.

We knew what we were doing and was gonna do it our way;
It did not matter what people would think or what they had to say.
Then one day the Lord pricked my stony heart;
He said the ones I was hanging with, it was time for me to depart.

He said; "Come out from among them and be ye separated;
Abide in Me and I in you and be ye elevated."
"Lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily besets you,
My Lord said; "Listen to the words of your Father before satan gets you."

Now I had a race to run, I was running for my life,
I wanted to be full of the Holy Spirit with a mind like Jesus Christ.
So I hurried out to do thngs which were just and right,
Mostly I did them during the day, occasionally at night.

I was not ashamed when friends saw me or we got together,
Only we would praise the Lord and have a good time no matter what the weather.
We would dress for the occasion and shout all the day long,
Our hearts were happy as we listen to God's Word and gave up the wrong.

The Lord purged me from iniquities,
No longer did I live in sin.
Satan could not deceive me becaused I believed;
I WAS BORN AGAIN!!

Premium Member Born Again Christian

Born again Christian, imagine that!? She found Christ at the laundry mat..
He appeared some where between rinse and spin and now he definitely resides with in..
She no longer drinks. She no longer smokes. She doesn't hang out with unsavory folks..
Reading the scripture several times each day, she falls to her knees whenever she prays..
This new found faith she keeps reposed while she sorts thru the whites and her other clothes..
She holds it close, intent to capture and quietly awaits the coming rapture..

Born Again

At first it starts with a tiny seed
then the roots spring up out of the fertile soil
 preaching, teaching & service
To humbly obey is better then sacrifice

 faces, spaces & traces
It unfold with an open heart
saturated with the truth of God's word
 One must die to self

Pick up your cross on a daily basis
In time you will walk as a child
faith isn't intellectualized it just it
God's love for you is the great eternal constant

Accept Jesus into your heart as your personal savior & Lord
 hope springs a new
Continue to confess your sins & believe
Unless one is born again he can not see the kingdom

Join a bible based church that preaches the word
 pray & give tithes
Share your faith with those who are lost
create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me

Only one life will soon be passed
only what's done for Jesus will last
With what time we use today will be echoed throughout eternity
 God alone is enough

What Does Itmean To Be Born Again

What Does It Mean tTo Be Born Again ?

By Charles Gerald Patrick Chard 2nd
Chevra Gavri Hanita Hazaka Abir Selek 2nd

What does it mean to be born again?,
It means to be reborn from within,
It means you' ve been pardoned from all your sin,
Have you ever felt something so wonderful beyond discription,
Have you ever felt a love beyond anything you could mention,
Have you ever felt a peace that passes all your understanding,
And felt this all at once from within expanding,
This is what it is like to be born again,
A newness,freshness from within you'll gain,
For it is a love that goes far beyond all words and thought,
It goes beyond all knowledge you' ve been taught,
It must be experanced from within your heart,
Then you'll truly understand why you'll never want to depart,( From Him).

If I Were Born Again

If i were given a chance to be born again
i guess i would change anything in my life
i would enjoy the best part of my life
and the worst i would welcome it with two hands

some would want to be born billionaires
but for me i would gladly accept the poverty i have
i can see you laughing at my decisions but sorry
am poor physically but my mind is more than a gold mine

if i were born again i would long for the day i cried the most
the tears i shed makes me stand where i am today
i would ask for that happy day which i received hugs and kisses
for it taught me,just like a coin life is two sided

i would pray the day my heart was broken to come
because it taught me how to fix it
when my love was gone i tried to love myself
then i realized no man is an island because God was still loving me

i would celebrate the day i was depressed
and the day i thought i was most stressed
i would wait for the day my life was messed
because through all this am blessed

Premium Member Hope Is Born Again

How do we begin to live with this sin
Will the pain lessen in time
Shall it beat me and always be mine
Why would anyone choose something so vile
Was it worth it
I wonder
I will never know.....

Today four cardinals appeared in my yard
A glimpse of hope an peace once more
Maybe there is life beyond this day
and Beauty and Love will again find a way.......
To once again rule our day.......

Born Again (For Contest)
Y’all come and join me while I set a spell
I’ll tell a tale that stirred in yonder dell
I reckon I might miss a word or two
But this happened here as I say to you
There lived a man here who was so nasty
His soul was so cussed that we all could see
Ornery and riled up as he could be
Then one day he met a cute little lass
She lived by the Book with plenty of sass
In time she wooed him and taught him the Word
Anger left him like a wee little bird
Now he’s in church with a dumb looking grin
I still wish he was the way he had been

Poetry is a gateway, into a world imaginative and bright.
It however can lose its meaning, when jealousy deflects its light.
Expression can often be judged, by eyes that no longer see.
Don’t be imprisoned by your insecurities, that is not the way to be.

Should a poet be rated and condemned, by thoughts they choose to share?
How many words are lost, when poets no longer dare.
Articulate the beauty around you, or the passion deep down in your soul.
Partake in the poetry soup and never leave with an empty bowl.

Always start with a fresh canvas, share the words whispered from your heart.
Share with those that support you, and even the ones that tear you apart.
Imagine if we showed more love, to each and every peer.
I wonder what new creations, would emerge without any fear.

The world is big but I am small
so I tried to run this time around.
I failed to see and do it all,
though I covered a lot of ground.

Now the pace has slowed; the trail's gone cold
but deep within the flame burns hot.
The story's read; the ending told.
The mind is willing but the body's not.

To live again is its own reward.
No time to finish what is started.
You begin again when your soul has soared.
Bid goodbye to the newly departed.

A babe is born while others mourn.
The breath of life ignites the light.
A new vessel to replace one worn.
From darkness comes bright daylight.

Thus, the cycle continues onward
never ending so I say:
"The meaning of life must be explored
or you'll die to live another day".

Was a virgin
long time
waited until he
pulled back that veil
He kissed me for the first time.
Never wanted to be
Handled nor touched
Became weak, for the musk of him.
Through him, I learned to trust
again.

I could tell by his smell
His chemistry intrigued me.
loved to cuddle
Under him for the foreplay.
Never wanted to go all the way.
I awakened to his flavor
I could savor in his touch
He brought out that
Streak in me, that freak in me
My natural ability;
That only he could induce.

He squeezed the juice
From my fruit.
No one else could do it.
In another place in time
Our signals were aligned
He then becomes aloof to our truth.

Time passed I could inhale
No one else, they were never
Fresh, always stale.
I stayed in celibacy
Wrestled with that
Spirit in me.
Nearly twenty years without
Sharing sheets.

Re-virgin, for certain
Repulsed by mankind
Turned my head away
When people spoke to me;
Repulsed by air stirred by any
Other human beings.

He found me unchanged
Waiting to inhale,
His fragrant smell.
Settled in, he began
To make me laugh again.

He sighted the truth in my eyes
I could not hide what was inside.
There was a rumbling within;
My eager freak met
Him tit for tat.

He touched places
And I touched him back.
He erotically awakened,
All that was at stake.

Holding back nothing.
I am his escalated freak
Born again from
The abstinence, I withheld.

Born again from his
Intoxicating smell.
There was a streak in me.
And only he—could bring
Out that freak in me.
He is my spirituality
I love him religiously.
.... and I be born again.
And all is well.!

Born Again

Born again new life within
My life no longer controlled by sin
Born again free at last
The Lord has dealt with all my past.

Born again my spiritual birth
A gift from God from heaven not earth
Born again from God above
No more in darkness saved by His love.

Born again my soul is at rest
My Saviour Lord Jesus is simply the best
Born again it's great just to be
Filled with God's Spirit and completely set free.
