 Quote:
"Xenodochial (pronounced zeena-doh-key-ul) means to be hospitable. Making others feel at home is truly an art. When you can make your friends, family, and even strangers feel as if they truly belong, you are making the world a better place". By Poet

In a rather distant and uncaring world
There is a virtue that is widely unknown
Friendly, xenodochial, and blithesome Words
A non-parochial warmth is widely shown
Strive to treat strangers with dignity and kindness
And to bless your soul, grant no eyes to blindness
You may glimpse angels—in this river of dryness
No impediments ought to obscure the light
Treasure is always found at unexpected sites
Always be suitable for fresh starts and height
Welcoming pathway lights are faint yet pearled
Bear in mind we harvest whatever we have sown
Don't scold or exhibit just a shred of unkindness
A star shining on you will be soft, mild, and bright

Premium Member God of Mercy and Compassion a Lenten Hymn

With a heavy heart I embrace
Willingness to come forth efface
All my many unspoken crimes
In the name of our Jesus Christ.

Beneath the breath of my still tongue
They stay struggling to flit among
Memories of stained sinful deeds.
In the name of our Jesus Christ.

To completely wholeheartedly
Accept your judgment blessedly
For your most infinite mercy
In the name of our Jesus Christ.

With a blithesome bosom rising
Of God's anointing sight I sing
Of place of shelter from the storm.
In the name of our Jesus Christ.

The
imagined force is recast and concentrated into an inorganic
material.

Intentional,
possessing the owner's future with satisfying
charisma.

The
talisman, as some are known to be, is the resulting
changeover.

Better
days lay ahead of the object holders, who will be the subject of good
fortune.

Prehension
of one's life worth and outlook will be exceedingly
awesome.

Blithesome
accesses the favorable
heart.

Impart
the wealth produced, amongst
others.

Effectuators
are doubly loved for that
realization.

Fruition,
when done unnoticeably, is agape
love.

Hereinabove,
the exceptional natures are
emphasized.

Harmonized
beginnings are the effects of the talisman's
aura.

Dandelion Moves On

A blithesome royalty, sea of roses smile
delicate faces spark in emerald pasture.
Vivid sunny weeds, dandelions fragile...
no one cares, stems of careless rapture.

Petals felled in wanton lawn mowers,
roots still strong in moist warm blaze.
   Radiance return, blooming little flowers
with lion's tooth, serrate leaves amaze.

Sulfur glowing yellow, sleeps in moonlight,
opalesque heads, new dream of stars
Wakes up to sun, soft balls fluffed white,
unburdened wings, fly hours after hours.

A pirouette dance of dandelion seeds
in summer sky, holding hands of wind.
Uprooted wafts fly, survive to breed,
uncertain distant lands, hope gets pinned.

Blowing birthday candles, wish of goodbye....
pangs of separation, siblings all forlorn.
They'll never be together, no tears to cry.
Life moves on, another dandelion is born.

Premium Member Dilly-Dilly Daffodils

Then my heart with pleasure fills and dances with the daffodils.

—-William Wordsworth

DILLY-DILLY DAFFODILS

Dilly-dilly daffodils in a lady’s tress,
Sailing as she throws off distress.
Blithesome in shades of yellow and blue,
The yellow-buttercups a felicitous crew.
Dancing fair maiden-esprit, free
Of worry, no anxiety, Swinging gloriously —
A merry-go-round, dizzying sashay.
O how these pretty ladies brighten the day.

Dilly-dilly daffodils splashing everywhere,
Xanthous snow-shower of motherly care.
Warms the rainbow of hearts, rocks
Deep-dark dungeon despair into goldy-locks.
Slays the Winter dragon, breath-stifling depress.
Parades open-air confidence and playfulness.

Dilly-O-Delightful daffodils trumpet applaud,
bowing and curtsying — a faerie squad.
Dandelions look on with jealousy, turn white,
blow far, far away, leaving a lantern-light
of palace gardens, star chandeliers, riverdale,
green goblet-meadows, a sunshiny-fairytale.

O, colors, enthrall us through their splendor
Infuse the mundane world with vivid shades
Dazzle with hues and send a melody so tender,
No harp plays a role in tunes or serenades.

Lush velvet stains lips and hands with blackberry
Ripe grapes drenched in bright, blithesome lands
A colorful kaleidoscope lies in a flower vase—airy,
A sparkle that imbues the shadows and expands.

Olive and amber—ripening akin to wheat,
Grating upon nerves, a symphony so sweet
I love color, from flaming reds to vivid greens.
Royals flaunt purple, a sight that sheens.

Flaming reds and vivid greens—I adore
Royal flaunting purples, I simply can't ignore.
If I were the color blue, I would sing a halcyon song.
Leave you frantic—recalling your youth for days long.

I hold my breath as sapphire skies spread.
Vast quietude, serene—filling my head
Rainbows, prisms—tinsel glitter galore,
A wheat harvest of yellow—a sight to adore

Ripples and runs—floats and flies,
Subtle shades and sheen, colors that mesmerize.
Crimson and azure—glowing with grace,
The purity of white is a vague oasis to embrace.

A streak of gray brought heaven to earth
Crackled turquoise, vivid glow of calm sea worth,
As a slow hawk stoops—prey in the deep,
The sunflower droops; a lazy wave creeps.

The wind sleeps—swirling in dazzling links,
And loops, creating a symphony that never sinks
The crickets chime their pauseless rhyme,
And the colors run—toward the sun climb.

Before the wind feet, in the wheat, they stun.
The green of elms—a sage discourse troll,
Hemlock green, oaks, and juniper trees spun,
A color symphony, one actor—this world scrolls,

A never-ending show of beauty and poetry.
Crafting a lasting metaphor of beat and symmetry
A magnificent show of shadows and brightness.
O, hues, how you seduce my air with lightness.

I FELT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Heartbeats slow~to~rush, slow~to~rush in blue blithesome air,
faces spotlight the summer sun, their laughter notes: a choir of February flair.

When eyes match the brilliance of diamonds and cheeks bud like roses unreserved,
the dulcet of shoots and tingles intercourse: non-stop thrilling every nerves,
skin gloss by flaming wonder wheels triggering senses to ripple and dare,
thoughts even suffer a sudden stroke despite rosaries of whispered prayers.

It is as if ten-thousand fireflies constellate mimicing the farthest stars,
I am leaping beyond the winds and hopping on the rim of a tilted caramel jar.

Has a swarm of fallen meteors, melted in rainbow dyes, envelope my heart?
How did the sullen sorrows I have~ within sighs slowly tear apart?
Melancholy disperse as circus melody hugs hearts beating in lowly breasts,
chains of interludes harp no shame as pure intentions are expressed.

My bosoms has been dressed by famine-tattered scars, I moaned complains,
but in the name of love authored by God, new life with you, I gain!

' In Just a Glimpse '

" I open the door and cross the threshold of imagination "

In the midst of woods
A cryptic houri's crooning
Euphony - suffused.

Nocturnal deity humming her lyrical milieu
Yarn of Utopian hymn of nostalgia
Missing her sublime empyrean realm, now ...
Place seems so eccentric ... strange ensued in just a flash
How mind's eye brought this door to reach " LIMITLESS "

Facing the Ingress of CHANGE
Goddess of melody stepped and witnessed the other world behind the realm
A cyan orb with burning effulgent daystar - mirrored, reflected
Drawing up the facsimile of lustrous sparks of luminescence
Planet surrounded by towering trees oscillating
Dancing together with the blithesome rhythmic gust of cool breeze
Nymphalid gliding, vagabonding with grace and elegance
Bragging its chromatic stunning ala above the turfs embracing the land
Rocks, pebbles, grass, insects and animals in harmony
Clouds, birds, skies, heaven and earth in equilibrium
Like music - heavenly, perfect, profound, and heartfelt
Factual sanctuary - undisturbed habitat of existence
Home of soothing silence - obscure, raw ...
Goddess now a HUMAN
Mortal - in time, will cease and die. . .

Oft' my thoughts drift back through the mists of time,
To my childhood and my humble Indiana home,
Those blissful days of youth so carefree and sublime!
My memories of those blithesome days would fill a tome!

When I hear, "On the Banks of the Wabash, Far away",
Along its slopin' banks I can see the towerin' sycamores,
Dancin' in the breeze on a languid Hoosier summer's day,
And I see a boy with willow pole catchin' catfish by the scores!

The Wabash flows silently through the verdant Indiana plain,
Meanderin' through forests and many a sleepy Hoosier town.
How I pine to return to the soil of my birth once again,
To be that barefoot boy amblin' to the Wabash a-fishin' boun'!

Get-go scrupulous attention,
live to cornucopia,
Coherence in familial bonds
must ever stay,
Romantic evening is
reminiscent of happier times,
Are the ones standing by you
on your final day!

Guileless life, a battlefield of
every Titan,
For evolution of the race, you
ought to play,
Contentious hard work makes
it iridescent,
Hypothecate moulding for
betterment as if in clay!

Sun gifted you its brightest
sunshine,
Fragrance added through each
breathful air,
Brew your friends well for a
perfect wine,
Appreciate nature add up to a
day's debonair!!

Life is fugacious yet addicting,
its secrets camouflage,
Adopt blithesome attitude,
risible for a hearty laugh !!

I
walk in
the darkness
as dawn draws near.
The grinning full moon
winks a sweet laughing tear,
and the soft gentle breeze wisps
chilled kisses, through your silken hair.
As, with blithesome heart, I glimpse the sun,
it's the light that beams from your smile so fare.

Alone

By Humber in a drowsy afternoon,
When for my love long lost alone I pin’d,
My heart itself did sing a saddest tune
For woeful swain I was to be destin’d.
And I in pain then lov’d this timid croon,
That disposition of mine redefin’d
Against the verdure that beside had grown,
And yon bare land where Autumn crops been mown.

Th’ immediate surface expos’d a tiny fish,
And came thereon somewhence his entire train,
That blur’d my eyes, did vision diminish;
In azure ripples solace I did gain.
And every bird that flew out of his niche
Demulc’d mine ears that on the bank had lain.
I think of her and of the friends that me
No more confront and give me company.

My head upon a tufted ground takes rest,
And sees the pallid clouds stoop’d from above
To obfuscate the Sun that veers towards West;
These equalise the woe of futile love,
Thus empathise with youthful mind deprest,
And slothful healing thereto do they serve.
And lo the Hills! whence wafts the coolest breeze
The sole wanderer’s weary limbs can please.

The Lark so tiny that a blob he seems,
For he hath sor’d in unrestrained joy;
And scoffs the pensive man by blithesome whims,
That his gay mind with exultation cloy;
Flutters his wings ‘neath sudden Phoebus’ beams,
That through the pregnant clouds have found their way,
Like beams of Hope enkindle morbid heart,
O lucid Stream, now jocund as thou art!

The heavenly firmament where the ocean meets
remains steadfast and tolerant
never changing and yet can count the stars.

Alone in splendor, repose a brief sojourn,
under a blue-green pinion balmy air
has slightly fluttered moving ethereal tides.

Star-crossed lovers move step by step in movements
of the celestial bodies, but constantly
besmirch by outside forces.

In the darkest and most vulnerable,
lissome steps tread the path where silent throes
are heard in waves jealous of blithesome wind.

Star-crossed lovers move step by step in movements
of the celestial bodies, threaded fingers,
no need of exchange of words.

Light and airy,
sparkling, bright!
That's the theme
to bring delight!

Sweet and tasty,
luscious too!
Choicest words
that ought to do!

Blithesome, rosy
full of glee
Loveliest
of poetry!

Sun kissed, moon blessed
Heavenly
Every line
an odyssey

Love and romance
Chivalry
Rhythms about
Love's destiny

Playful, dreamy
Whimsy lore
Heart's own quest:
Devote, adore!

Poets, readers
Loved ones, all
Listen to
the muse's call

Follow swiftly,
travel far
Lose yourself
Twirl on a star

Pretty, fancy
Dulcet chimes
You will find
in minstrel's rhymes.
