Someone recently began to tire of my dark poems and asked me to write something happy.  I've been in a good mood so I thought I would take a moment like this to write one.  To whom it may concern, I hope you like it.  (This is as happy as I Get.)

I walk in the darkness as dawn draws near. The grinning full moon winks a sweet laughing tear, and the soft gentle breeze wisps chilled kisses, through your silken hair. As, with blithesome heart, I glimpse the sun, it's the light that beams from your smile so fare.

BW, thank you. I wrote this in hope of bringing a smile to someone's face. I'm having difficulty writing as of late. It's nice to have something to help me motivate myself.

A beautifully penned etheree James - I especially love the imagery of the moon. I write at the whim of my muse - have no control over what comes out - continue to write dark poems is that is where you muse takes you - I can write humour at the drop of a hat no matter what is going on in my life - can write happy or sad but my muse is the boss lol:-) hugs Jan xx

Actually, Jan, I would like to think many of my poems are more "ethereal" in nature than dark (although many are), some passionate, some romantic. The few poems I have, about 150 now, are pretty diverse I think in form, style and subject, but I will always be drawn back to the DARK SIDE, HAHahahaaaaaa (insert deep sinister laugh here).

A terrific Etheree James with perfect shape. I believe the poet you wrote this for will be pleased as much as me.
