Premium Member When the Piano Bleeds Pain
It's 3 am,
her pillow soaked in regret.
Loss has left her spirit lonesome,
darkness a definition of insanity.

In the silence of the night,
vexatious voices vibrate inside
her somber state of mind.

Restless, she sits at her proverbial piano,
as a plethora of pain bleeds through
her fingers onto ebony and ivory...

Where Crimson Bleeds Its Rose
Under a blue moon

He becomes my dream

A secret uncloaked

Emotion unveiled

A mystery revealed

Existence of warmth

between my subconscious

and implicit knowledge

..And it is there

`Neath the soft spot

of this heart

where crimson bleeds

 its velvets

upon his bare breath

It is there

where my blushed lips

loose their virginity

Where my fair cheeks

suffuse...

My Blood Bleeds Sand
My Blood Bleeds Sand

My blood bleeds sand,
That golden sugar that spreads
Across the wandering West
Where purple sage dots, and
There a tarantula spreads atop
A random hill.
Where blazing and blinking stars light
Black blue skies.
And stupendous sunsets
Color and shadow sand mounds
Like bald-headed men, and
A free blowing wind carries...

Mournfully, My Heart Bleeds
I've written of great longing while my teardrops flare
Rhyming lines of sorrow that were nested in my mind
Tomes of poetry that exposed the depth of my despair
Now, my heart lies withered; to its fate I am resigned.

My sonnets are all testaments to the love, now...

Dove Bleeds Poppies
I'm but a frail bird tasked to bring hope and spread peace.
How shall I fly high in the sky with such a brittle burden!
My heart pounds in dilemma like a ping pong ball as I release
my wings in the air to take a flight at...

Trauma Bleeds Through My Pen
Shall I allow my heart to break its fences
and profusely bare its senses
as my mind feels no fighting chances
the soul divulges the pain’s incenses
trauma bleeds through my pen with no pretences.
*****
Shall I allow my heart to shed its shield
and had its very pulses peeled
with...

Premium Member A Wounded Heart Bleeds
Love is blind, deaf, dumb and stupid.
I blame it all on the imp called Cupid.
No warning shot fired over my head
His arrow struck and brought me dread.

The poisoned point of that lethal dart
Was the reason love grew inside my heart.
The toxin traveled within my veins
And...

Doom Bleeds and Fades
freedom lies with a shattered grace
stumbling toward atomic mythology
where answers have their sins washed
brilliantly bright as suns dyeing skin off-
colors of rumors circulating planets
of the universe pulled headlong into a night
-mare riding tattooed and complaining
about recollections of severed ghosts
(hiding in a ball of fear minds...

My Heart No Longer Bleeds For You
Sleepless nights
Held myself tight
All alone
I’m on my own
Tell me you love me
Tears down my face
Throwing myself all over the place
Filled with anger filled with hate
Why did I leave my heart to break?
You knew what you were doing
You never...

My Heart Bleeds Tears
My Heart Bleeds Tears
By Jim Campbell

My heart bleeds tears
For the voices
I can no longer hear
For the hands I can
No longer hold
My eyes cry
Like a river
That tears through
The land
Never ending
Never ceding
Washing away my heart
I watch as your essence
flows away
The memories
The joys
In...

Premium Member Ink Bleeds Only For You
the day the pen stops
writing about you

no blood will flow
from these empty veins

poetry
will remain
forever silent

no longer will
the tongue dance
to the tune inside
this heart

an invisible soul will
ascend in silence

no more deep sighs
just a breathless
goodbye

and you my love
what will become of you?

Premium Member When Sunset Bleeds
Behold the lit splendor of an arcade

that bleeds her copper shawl, its final glow

awaiting dusk to grasp last flares of blade,

when decimal of time changes the flow

and in repose, glazed orb succumbs to row.

THE EARTH BLEEDS

We need a little light and dark.
Our eyes but blur infinity blue,
as a cradle robs us of our spark
when we visualize variety’s few.

The white nest of my sparrow skin,
a scintilla reflection of the Holy Spirit.
He distributes wisdom from within
a dark parka, grass skirt,...
