Declared an outcast,
shunned by society -
but she's the same
as you and me,
but You can't see her pain
hidden behind her coy smile.
You can't wipe away those tears,
invisible to your shallow eyes.
In fear she stares at the pavement,
but she can see you stare.
She can hear your giggles.
She can feel your judgement.
Her crime?
Only that she is different.
Freak is not her name,
but you shout it, roaring like a lion.
To you she looks peculiar and
you wonder why she behaves strange.
Her monotone words are a result of your
ignorant mind that has lead to her
indulging in esoteric tendencies.
She may seem socially awkward,
but she means no harm.
She just wants to belong -
for one soul to understand.
There is no eye contact,
because living can hurt.
Misplaced in an oblivious world,
the skies may look bright to you and me,
but all she recognises is the darkness.
The soul is deep like an ocean,
but most only see the surface.
Only a few dare to venture to the bottom -
where most drown.
Only the strong reemerge.

My bladder behaves through the night
Each morning my flow is just right....
But throughout the day
There is hell to pay
It's bursting; I cross my legs tight
WRITTEN BY JAN ALLISON
Ladies and gentlemen please feel free to join in, send me your limericks by soup mail or in your comment as I will add them to the poem
In order to keep all my friends
I refrain from doing the bends
No trips to the loo
I hold in my poo
And strap on a pair of depends!

Super Girl she had buns of steel
Clark wanted to make them a meal
He played them like a flute
Until she let out a toot
Then he couldn’t seal the deal!
Written by Richard Lamoureux
Half an hour since her last patter-pitter,
and she’s facing the next bladder-splitter.
If she runs or she leaps,
something critical seeps,
and you’d better stand back if she titters.

While driving I often need to pee
When bathrooms are miles away from me
I step harder on the gas
hoping my urge will soon pass
While speeding towards the nearest tree
When out golfing and ready to tee
I sometimes feel a strong urge to pee
with no bathrooms near by
I throw my golf club high
while I run to find the nearest tree

From dawn till two I’m on that loo
Black lace ‘n silk won’t see me through
Need porous panties
Huge knicks; no scanties
In need of help ~ what should I do?
Written by Ann Gilmor
When I go out I hate to drink too much
Because I'll have to go potty and such
On a day I don't care,
It's plastic underwear
Lace with thick liner, to catch water rush

Cereal Killer
The story of his life
a made for TV thriller.
Title in blood red
life of a cereal killer.
He don’t want no fried eggs
or peanut butter toast.
He killed a box of grape nuts once
but he don’t like to boast.
He has Wheaties for his breakfast
Cheerios for his lunch.
For a mid day snack
he likes Captain Crunch.
He don’t want a T-bone
he don’t want French silk.
Corn flakes and some sugar
in a great big bowl of milk.
Along about suppertime
as he hides from the cops.
Sitting in the shadows
munching sugar pops.
He don’t mean to scare you
sometimes he behaves.
Even when it’s boo berry
or Count Chocula he craves.
He’s no threat to society
at a table or a booth.
He’s just a cereal killer
with a really bad sweet tooth.
From early dawn til after dusk
he’s never gonna stop.
You hear him in his kitchen
going snap crackle and pop!

High above, the storm grows bizarre
O maddened sea , rattling the mast;
My fate near water’s edge, aghast
A life shuffling as night is cast
All dim except one single star.
Through smog, a fair siren appears
Long the tresses, eyes made of green,
Rising to meet tempest’s bloodstream
In her lash, a shipwreck redeemed;
Calming my fright among hazed tears.
Ahead I lay on shoreline’s eaves
The buoyant glide of milder waves,
Softens with the nymph's hushed octaves
That even rough typhoon behaves;
As she coasts along, then leaves.
I wake to feel a heady scent
Lips tasting salt of restful night,
Upon dreamscape, snapshots delight
Till misty air grabs fancy’s flight;
Yet, her mystique leaves me incensed.

Deemed significant culturally,
a fantastic and old comedy
is this film I love,
which is the tale of
a weatherman played by Bill Murray.
This weatherman Phil has been sent
to cover the groundhog event.
He’s so hard to please,
and that’s because he’s
an arrogant cynical gent.
There’s a blizzard and Phil’s forced to stay
in Punxsutawney for one more day.
He awakes. Something’s wrong!
“I Got You Babe,” the song
by his bedside is what he hears play.
It’s the same song from the day before
when he woke up at six. Out the door,
he goes onto the street.
Things repeat and repeat.
This is something that he can’t ignore.
In a time loop he’s stuck! Each time when
he is hearing “I Got You Babe,” then
that man, once so vain,
begins going insane.
Groundhog Day comes again and again!
When he understands that there won’t be
any punishment whenever he
does anything wrong,
it isn’t for long
before Phil behaves most crazily.
He drives reckless and binges on beer.
Since tomorrow will never grow near,
he drives right off a cliff!
He would not do that if
there were hope, so he’s lost all his fear.
There’s a woman that Phil’s come to know,
and he talks to her every day, so
he can learn more and more
how to make her adore
him! His feelings for her start to grow.
With his efforts to win Rita’s heart,
Phil begins to appreciate art.
He learns French and to play
the piano! Each day
in the townspeople’s lives he takes part.
Seven years come and go. By year eight,
Phil has changed. But will this change his fate?
Knowing everyone’s needs,
he is doing good deeds,
and in Rita’s eyes, Phil’s looking great!
It’s his last Groundhog Day when Phil learns
his life’s lesson. This time his world turns!
Through the great power of
unconditional love
and his good works, a NEW day Phil earns!
“I Got You , Babe” plays next to his head.
But it’s NOT Groundhog’s Day, for instead,
Phil wakens to see
unbelievably
true love won! Rita’s with him in bed!

From cracks above, lightning explodes
A deranged sea rattling the mast;
Hanging on between life and doom
My fate near water’s rim, harassed
When darkness hides the palest star.
Just then, a silhouette appears
Long the tresses, eyes deeply creamed
Ready to meet the tempest’s dare…
In one bolt, a ship wreck redeemed
Calming the dread upon my face.
Against a current's dauntless reel,
The buoyant glide of milder waves
Recedes through siren’s drawl that lures,
That an angry gust now behaves
As she steers me ashore, then leaves.
I wake to feel a heady scent
Recalling tastes of Galene’s night,
Until dream-catcher’s web unfolds
To snap me back from fancy’s flight…
Yet in my head, her mystique heaves.

Galene—Greek goddess of calm seas
When a man stepped out his childhood home,
planting a brave foot in the open world, not an age,
not a generation, not a world ago,
There breathed and burned in him hope shared with
mama's receding figure frozen in prayer by the
doorpost to his back
That his way he would make through this mild wild
that law and claw both make the world with flesh
unmarred by scratch or patch.
"You'll keep out of trouble if you behave yourself,"
she would advise.
That, sure, was the wisdom of her world, her old
world now long gone,
When the law was still a genuine ass, not a
chameleon in ass skin,
That turns deathly black when around blacks and
pristine white when around whites.
Black or white, all will rue the loss of that world
when a man was safe if he behaved himself.
Nowadays, he'll keep out of trouble
Only if he behaves himself,
The police behave themselves,
And court behaves itself.
Hours merge, when mind fictions past
When eyes connect' the mirror's to pass
Then passion behaves, an' tickle waves
For happy days' and memories phaze
Along the now' and all fate' and vow
It takes my heart to what-ever of art
Of joy, an' laughter' a slice of wonder
A tender of thought to days I wrote

While love is totally blind, the body behaves as voyeur in mind
Drift through the ephemeral sea of fantasy
When the ink melts, the pen behaves scantily
Dewdrops are our delight, fresh and pearly
My lack of chatter protects me from vanity
However, I am not a hopeless case of insanity
I'm buried, however, in my distorted chastity
Treatment for emotional clarity and sanity.

A child gets hurt
He screams... He cries
It may seem to him he's about to die
An adult gets injured
He shrugs it off... He's no creampuff
He's got a job to do -- He's gotta be tough
Ask yourself two questions honestly
Who's got more sense? Who behaves stupidly?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We dwell in the sanctuary of slumber.
Where stars fade away, light may encumber.
Oh, the comfort found in weak rays of light.
Do they disappear quickly as a passing night?
Fireflies dance upon the summer's veil.
As winter jar embraces me, I stand pale.
Gazing at horizons, seeking a distant light,
Does it seek me, too? In the depths of night.
It softly murmurs, filled with a deep desire.
An intricate interplay of destiny and attire.
Does it hunt me down as well?
It behaves as if it were a mild wind swell.
Keeping hidden tales from the light.
Articulated with precision and clarity.
Seasons, adorned with heavenly sight.
Nature's pattern was weaved into parity.
In hues of gold and crimson blaze,
A symphony of beauty, nature's praise.
Whispering gently, my name echoes.
Through the corridors of time, it flows.
A melodic refrain, gentle and sweet,
In the realm of echos, our souls meet.
Bathed in a light embrace,
Reaching optimum grace.
A speck emerges, sudden and small.
Darkness that outshines them all.
Oh, that ethereal glowing
A strange beauty, perfectly flowing.
Gravity, oh, how it strikes, high
With a force that no one can deny,
It hits adamantine, with all its might.
A power that holds us tight.
A frog when behaves like humans .
Makes me imagine a different world.
A frog when jumped into the pond.
Fills the heart with a joy of aliveness.
When he searches for his food.
Takes me to the view of his life.
When he catches his food.
Shows me his struggle.
When he caught by a snake.
Makes me feel sad as his end comes near.
I raised an Australian dingo,
no name came to mind but Ringo;
he jumped on me,
ripped my clothes daily...
it costed me plenty of money!
Only once I left him alone;
good grief... my furniture was torn!
Oh, should I be mad...
or be kind instead?
I'll sleep over it for tonight!
All Ringo did was run, bark and howl,
mistaking a small cat for an owl;
They took him away
to the zoo today;
he'll whimper form his cage, not rest!
I'll take him back, lest he behaves;
his lesson he'll learn: good manners!
Now, Ringo just stares
to earn forgiveness...
it's fun to play with him and laugh!
