The Appeal of the Sea

“THE APPEAL of the SEA” ©
The troubled torrents upon the beach pour
Constantly claiming the sands of the shore
Vexed for good reason with purpose assured
Pounding and thrashing some threats are here stored
Restless in action and heady with need
Racing so often much creatures to feed
Dashing & splashing inciting some fear
Meanwhile inviting to those with more dare
Roaming all over companion the sky
Giving all color no matter how high
Crashing & churning with consummate ease
All as if playing or perhaps in tease
Shifting & prancing is just to get back
Sustaining the life with all it may lack
All finding succor in shallow & deep
Determined by nature each one to so keep
Ebbing and flowing is one & the same
Feeding all nations in His Holy name
Moving forever as if in a dance
Honoring nature not merely by chance
                   Shimmering often pervasive in sleep
Still holding your stare while yet dancing deep
                   Embracing rivers regardless of state
Where else could they go before it’s too late
They too conspire to dump more than silt
Aided by humans who bear the most guilt
Were it to be steady as lying in bay
Then all would be lost to rot & decay
Not only its tantrums will it best be known
But giving with pleasure for life to be sewn
We should be caring for both land & sea
Long taken for granted by both you & me

Play This Smart

You have a way of making everything feel
Just right like a light that shines into the night
You have a way of making all of this feel so tight
Everything about you is so wonderful
Like a light that broadcast out of sight
We must keep on top of this
And not lose sight

Of these feelings that have so much meaning
As they have become such a big part of what I see
All of this because you have come to me
Our trust has been a must every step of the way
We know that God played such a big part in all of this
Right from the start so we must play this smart
Like we are never apart
Know that we live in each other's hearts

Everything about you creates these amazing sparks
Just like a light that shines ever so bright all across the night
You have a way about you that makes this so romantic and real
To me baby, you have the most fantastic sex appeal
As I wrap my heart around yours to seal this deal
I will try with all of my might to make sure to never lose sight
So all this turns out just right
That we might celebrate with delight

I think about you every minute of every day
You're the last thing on my mind before I Sercombe to the night
Baby, I know in my heart this is so right
So lets never be mean or fight
You will make your home here with me
Which sets us free to create the most amazing family
For all to see as we live our destiny

Premium Member Crazy Hazy Love

To Timothy Lee

Though mostly crazy high in zeal,
It's trapped I am in love’s green field.
My thinking cannot one thought yield.

Such feeling spins a hazy wheel.
Starlit favor may sparkle dreams,
No promise offers neat sewed seams.

Unsure, my heart beats quick appeal.
No action vaguely clear at all,
Holds me where I might blindly fall.

This love grows lacy, shaky feel.
Over cloud puffs, my caution spans
To ponder love’s own thunder plans.

I hope love’s truth is strong as steel.
How frightened all my feelings spree
While lost and tossed by all I see.

Though mostly crazy high in zeal,
Such feeling spins a hazy wheel.
Unsure, my heart beats quick appeal.
This love grows lacy, shaky feel.
I hope love’s truth is strong as steel.

Banana Republic Appeal

Sunshine smile,
it Arctic enamel glows
Crescent grin tropical —
Antarctica guile

A bright yellow corona skin
is so cold-fusion tan Chernobyl
As Dictator icy wind snow blow,
Democracy curvature bend

Creamy sweet coin promises
of a silky, tubular tongue
Hanging from a lip bung,
monkey climbers can’t resist

Swing blade lo Banana Republic Appeal,
it’s a Tyranny meal force fed
Gulag sweet fruit flavor med
has a sick-o whet, ill monkeyshine feel

Sex Appeal

When the lady walks
Men make full use of the eyes,
And women the spleens.

Premium Member A Student's Confession and Appeal To His Professor

My beloved friend and esteemed professor,
is it so wrong to worship and admire
you with so warm and glowing a splendor,
which is unbounded with heartfelt desire?
Your silhouette is my Achilles's heel,
and your lips (what lips those are!) dare I kiss?
Your soft skin glows with a warmth that reveals
     to me a sensuality that I miss;
I am undone! For you are my dilemma.
My need for you is embarrassingly clear!
Must I extinguish this overwhelming fire
which I have for you? For you are most dear.
Were I not just a student or your friend,
could we be more before this sonnet's end?

Amber Dawns Appeal

AMBER DAWNS APPEAL

A wish, a dream, from birth til death,
"Mummy I'm going to Disneyland to see Mickey Mouse”.
Beautiful words from a soul so small,
Everyday from dawn til dust her words stood tall.

Riddled with pain day in and day out,
Dammed Cystic Fibrosis from gene's it did sprout.
New Zealand your money you gave with love,
A soul you took and held, lent from above.

The Lions club helped to start your appeal,
And finally your dream was for real.
And your dream and your wish it finally came true,
When at four and a half off to America we flew.

Pain to pleasure was over your face,
To Mickey you ran winning your race.
Ending your wish and dream touching his hand,
A smile on your face as Mickey swung you from land.

As he knelt down with one knee on the ground,
You could hear a pin drop as the crowd stood around.
You swung your arms around him and squeezed his neck tight,
Then you looked at him with a smile and eyes big and bright.

“Oh my Mickey Mouse I can die now”, was all you said,
One month later you passed away on Mickey’s home made bed.
I always knew you didn’t belong,
I always knew you didn’t have long.

You were special and God knew that,
With his hands he sat you in my lap.
At four and a half he took you home,
Every day I thank him for my earthy loan.

An Appeal To Secular Reason

(A matter of reasoned understanding)

If life's complete term is this earthly sojourn,
What value is to be found in morality?
Why do we yearn for high knowledge to learn,
Or have need of reputation and fidelity?

Let's consume, every way, our limited stay
Not caring the consequence to others.
Let's ruthlessly flay those who get in our way'
And be selfish in the treatment of lovers.

Because if life, after all, is just nature's call,
From where comes these thoughts of virtue?
Better yet t'would be, never to live,
If no more than this life to attain to.

Penalty and reward have meaning no more,
If this be the end we're doomed to.
A short lapse in time, why not profit in crime?
--Restraint becomes a foolhardy menu.

Some men, of course, find reason to rejoice,
In embracing this odd philosophy.
While through it all, exemplifying Adam's fall,
They wax selfrighteous in its advocacy.

With honesty (of a sort) in their retort,
Of giving Godless reason its summation.
The logical end becomes the worship of man
And the denial of the laws of creation.

What a pitiful state to be found short of grace,
With the end rushing forward to greet you.
No meaning to life, its pleasures and strife,
Suicide becomes a desirable issue.

If I'm the duped one in worshipping God's son
No loss comes to me in my passing:
But, if right I reply, when my skeptic shall die,
The grief and remorse could be-- gnashing.
Psa.14:1

I cant breathe, an urgent appeal
But still your knees are on my neck
Pleas are ignored, my fate is sealed
I cant breathe, an urgent appeal
Death will result from this ordeal
Is there a pulse?, too late to check

But still your knees are on my neck

Jesus Loses Red Card Appeal

Dependable Defender Jésus Christ of Nazareth Football Club

This morning lost His appeal for the red card He received

During His side game with the highly rated Pharisees

He’ll be unavailable for their match against the Sadducees

He was sent off by no-nonsense referee Pontius Pilate

For defeating a host of Principalities and Powers

The Club failed to have the decision overturned by the Jurisdiction

He will therefore be sentenced to death by crucifixion

The ‘Special One’ is to make no comment on the decision

After Herod Disciplinary Committee dismissed the club’s appeal

Jésus offered Himself as a *Sacrificial Lamb* for a collective guilt

On the football club’s recent sloppiness and wilt

The Stalwart Defender's Penalty

Will begin with a physical torture

Followed by carrying a heavy rugged cross

Is the Disciplinary Committee right? Make your gloss

Gary Neville writes, March 28th….2:19

This Rock from Nazareth is just unconquerable

Rashford writes, March 28th….3:15

All they care is 30 pieces of silver

Major Buckley writes, March 28th…3:17

HE CAN’T GO AWAY WITH IT!

CRUCIFY HIM! CRUCIFY HIM! I submit

Nana Ama writes, March 28th…..4:17

The decision by ref Pontius Pilate was very harsh

Jésus triumphed! And He did it with great panache

Wolf writes, March 28th….5:15

The blame must lay with Judas and McCoy

Surely it’s their fault not Jésus. Sorry boy!

Omar writes,March 28th….. 6:17

You’re an idiot’s wolf!

This Jesus should go play golf!

Crucify Him sir! Crucify Him! I rest my case

Jonathan Reid writes, March 28th…7:17

I personally think Herod can’t rescind the red card

We talking football politics. He didn't tackle too hard

Satanic Immortal Appeal

Original angel, God's first personal assistant
Going errands for the Almighty, across upon infinite distant
The toast of heaven, captain of the A team
A is for angels, all jealous of Satan’s beam
They knew God had spent, a little more time on him
For apparent he was "special", It was for him God invented that word
Who could have foreseen, one day he would be enemy to God’s thee Word

He was there by his master’s side, secretary to creation
While other angels stood by, hateful of this relation
God's favorite angel, beautiful with no blemish
Flapping his wings in praise, as God filled the oceans with fish

Brightest among angels, the very first superstar
Keeping records of all creation, from the birds to the moon and stars
Chief astronomer, of God’s magnificent light works,
The only one with clearance, to share his thoughts and remarks
“The ocean is not deep enough, the heavens are too wide”
First angel to speak his mind

He was to God what Mark Anthony was to Caesar
He loved his master, but he was not an angel pleaser
He came out on top, at the heaven’s post-creation dance
Danced and danced even after the master took his seven-day rest
Giving Michael and Gabriel their much awaited chance
“He no longer dances for your glory master, give him just one test”
“Take his wings and beauty master, and see whether he will obey your commandment”
And so, once beloved Satan, was turned to a lowly serpent

He would have got back his wings, were it not for Adam and Eve
He was only bluffing about the forbidden fruit, he dint mean to deceive
But foolish Eve ate the apple, and Adam followed suit
There was no fair trial, so a third sympathizing angels quit
And now the once bright original angel, was cast and now adores dreadful horns
Reigning below the sea with other ex-angels; the demons

From the A-team to the D-team, from angelic beam, to demonic steam
If you too divinely fell from grace, from such a high level
You would have no choice but to become the devil

Appeal To Wounded Heart

I

to
you
darken
heart,oh
permit
my
words
to
soothe
your
troubled
soul,may
it
be
an
illumination
to
the
darkest
parts,a
balm
to
your
bruised
parts.
Let
it
be
spring
2nourish
and
mend
your
damaged
parts.
Oh
sweet
heart,allow
me
to
see
through
your
opaque
walls.....you
have
been
bruised
without
cause.
Bleed
not,experiences
make
one
stronger
and
wiser-
wish
not
to
turn
the
hands
of
time.
Wise
words
are
stronger
than
a

army
when
applied
to
the
soul.
Despise

days
of
little
beginning.

Premium Member The Appeal of a Moose

Thinking of girls in my life back then
Searching for beauty was no use
I'm sure one was from a horror movie
She possessed the appeal of a moose!

Promised I wouldn't mention names
But her first initial is Thelma
Had a huge wart on the tip of her nose
Gorgeous? What can I tell ya!

Let me explain 'bout that lovely schnoz
It was as long as from here to Tuesday
Protruding teeth, was missing a few
Just a little off white... good news eh!

Her eyes were kinda distracting too
Each looked in a different direction
Hair was stringy and different lengths
Blue lipstick and a very bad complexion!

So all in all, I guess you might say
Wasn't one of your ravishing beauties
Body odour like that of a koala
But as far as I could tell, no cooties!

Had some redeeming features though
She possessed a heart of pure gold
Would donate the shirt right off her back
Problem was it was smelly and old!

Sure could pick 'em way back when
Her daddy was worth a few million
So to me, Thelma was a raving beauty
Now my wife and I'm worth gazillions!

An Appeal From a Desperate Young Man

It's hardships if less inspired
Life direction will be direct less
And your decision making becomes pointless
Likened to the Caribbean pirates in distress

I hope i can be Orlando Bloom
Who has a Keira Knightly that is bewilderingly lovely
and gives his life hope and direction
with a touch of love and affection

i hope someone would give mercy
To someone like me in weary
It's as if i'm a damsel in distress
                  Locked helpless inside a fortress

I am in a terrible and desperate situation
Calling out for someone that can be my inspiration
I hope she will give me hope and caress
For i'm like a frog who needs a kiss from a princess

Oh my princess, i hope you'll be for real
And come out from nowhere to help me with great deal
Inspire me and energize me, Oh my dear lady
And please include it with love that i need greatly
