You have a way of making everything feel 
Just right like a light that shines into the night 
You have a way of making all of this feel so tight 
Everything about you is so wonderful
Like a light that broadcast out of sight 
We must keep on top of this
And not lose sight 

Of these feelings that have so much meaning
As they have become such a big part of what I see
All of this because you have come to me 
Our trust has been a must every step of the way 
We know that God played such a big part in all of this 
Right from the start so we must play this smart 
Like we are never apart 
Know that we live in each other's hearts 

Everything about you creates these amazing sparks 
Just like a light that shines ever so bright all across the night 
You have a way about you that makes this so romantic and real 
To me baby, you have the most fantastic sex appeal 
As I wrap my heart around yours to seal this deal
I will try with all of my might to make sure to never lose sight 
So all this turns out just right
That we might celebrate with delight 

I think about you every minute of every day 
You're the last thing on my mind before I Sercombe to the night 
Baby, I know in my heart this is so right 
So lets never be mean or fight
You will make your home here with me 
Which sets us free to create the most amazing family 
For all to see as we live our destiny

Jack Cooper May 7, 2018 at 11:22 AM Yes love poetry is one of the main topics I love to write about. When I first started writing poetry less then 2 years ago it was my love poems that my biggest fan my dear sweet mom convinced me to share with the world and that has led to why I write now. I hadn't written anything before then so it is very much a calling a gift from God That has led to ten poems being published in the last 2 years and I just finished my first chapbook called LIFE REFLECTIONS that is currently entered into a couple of chapbooks contest winner gets published. I will be setting up a blog and advertise the book on this site any incite you can share about these things on poetry soup would be much-appreciated caren. Thanks, Jack2
