Best And Pain Poems

How many images can I paint more
than I’ve already done? Like nights moon-lit
or meadow-dancing? You - whom I adore -
in every love scene - you’re the star of it.
The many colors! Oh, each brilliant hue.
I splashed them giddily when we shared bliss.
I’ve given sunsets, snow and spring to you -
Sweet passion’s words for you, Dear, and a kiss
I’ve always left down on the corner of
each canvas in our life, for there’s no me
without you, and there’s nothing but our love
to get us through, and sometimes tragedy
I’ve painted too – deep ocean’s blue – yet still,
I’ll paint you always lovely with my quill.

Guess Who's Back, Offence and Pain Aint Two of the Same

Who'd have thought words make them react like this,
failing to see my wit, just the unattractiveness.
An eye for crudeness that'll overpower the humorous.
I'm sure within their brain a tumour lives.

Has your face ever felt the force of a fist?
It'll twist your perception like a contortionist,
because offence and pain aint two of the same.
One requires staples so that the blood's contained,
the other's just a thought you'd rather not maintain.
I get that neither are a source used to entertain,
but at the end of the day crudeness aint pain.

Offence is just a nuisance you choose to refuse,
it aint a scar, a cut or a bruise.
Scars are something you can never remove,
but when I got mine I made jokes that amused.
So can you help me now please and give me some clues,
when I'd been hit by a knuckle duster I was less confused.
Do you really feel pain when I'm crude and rude?

Please explain how words upset and leave you offended.
How does it feel and how do you end it?
Is it just simple natural sounds that you can't stand?
Compare that to soldiers losing limbs and can't stand.
If this is you I've just one thing to say my friend,
your life is easy if words drive you around the bend.

Love Is Pain

Makes me furious seeing a woman with a bruise over her eye.
The smeared mascara from the tears she's cried.
Pain he's caused, scarring her inside.
Silent Prayers are whispered into the night.
You're under one helluva spell when you don't tell.
You're not well when you accept being put through hell.

It's been awhile since you've focused rself.
Staying with that man is simply bad for your health.
Because of him there is so much life you've missed.
How could you love a man that mistakes a kiss for a fist?
He's not stable; definitely not mentally okay.
If his idea of "love" is to physically harm you in such a way!
You're under one helluva spell when you don't tell.
You're not well when you accept being put through hell.

Stand up! Free yourself from those emotional chains.
No more scrubing shirts from blood stains.
Your world will be a happier, warmer place.
No more heavy makeup covering your pretty face.
So be strong now and walk away.
Live to love "you" and your children another day.

Premium Member Of Grief and Pain

Grief I have known little of.
It’s not as if I ever lost
my one true love.

One brother taken in his prime
saddened us, and yet I know
we’ll see him in good time

My father - two years ago -
passed away, but a stranger was he to me.
Grief too difficult I’ve yet to know.

Yes, great grief I think has yet to be my bane.
I’m compensated physically instead
with chronic pain!

Loves Painting

Before you I am your canvas blank
Delicately to paint linear and in liquid hues
Dripping and splashing we two drank
Forceful stimulated strokes you use

Layering the colors upon my surface
With a precision your brush does flow
Emphasis laid on expressive purpose
As your artistic viewing eye grows

Articulate precisely what you paint
Evoking sensuousness as you drip
Vigorous sweeping technique no restraint
Finesse done with your own workmanship

When strokes become feverous and fast
To the last stroke felt with ecstasy
To add your very own lust contrast
Finally leaving us right here at ease

Joy and Pain of Memories

He is now a band of sky,
a bird, a cloud, a stream of blue
drifting by in midafternoon,
a dragonfly, a butterfly, a ray of light dancing by,
a sheet of loose paper floating in the wind
with my poem scribbled on it.
He now rides in the rippling waves of Everglades
that glisten in the summer sun.
He comes to me in feelings deepening -
in gravity, energy, peace, commotion, the tide.
He is forever August, forever June…
an ocean wave never reaching the shore
(the sand and sun evermore),
a smile, a tear, laughter that never ends,
a child’s young, inquisitive mind, a friend,
the sweet voices of home,
the comfort of my favorite place, in a photo
or the sun upon my face.
Perhaps, he’s eternal summer, youth running with ease
in his favorite shorts and flip-flops,
hair sun-bleached tumbling free,
or one feather floating high on the ocean breeze.
I often see his face in fluffy clouds blurred beyond my tears,
singing sixties rock-and-roll, a country song or hymn.
He is the music playing in my ear again and again
and the warm, tropical air filling me within.
He lives in the cozy log cabin in a clearing of pines
and in the largemouth bass jumping
from the lake at dawn’s break,
He’s the tortoise sunning on the shore, the buck running wild,
the heartbeat of a father that cried
when he held his baby for the first time.
He is my joyful memories, a new day and the seconds
I live till I see him again. He is the wind calling my name,
dancing with the leaves on the trees…
he is water, he is air, he is in my eyes and theirs.
He is in Heaven but his love is everywhere.

My dad passed away June 21, 2002. He was 52 years old.
Summer was his favorite time of year and is the season I miss him most.

The way I feel, each day the bright sun would shine
Your beauty extends into the heavens
Together, we can live life to the fullest
Two hearts are beating, strong and true

     Your touch paints the Heavens
     The fulfillment of my dreams
     I Can't Describe
It is ... the way I feel
It is ... the way I feel

I never knew about love and bliss
You light up everything for me
Make the world give us a little more time
With our hearts bonded and melted

     Your touch paints the Heavens
     The fulfillment of my dreams
     I Can't Describe
It is ... the way I feel
It is ... the way I feel

There’s no easy answer for this marvelous feeling
We humans always a need for fire and heat
Together we're blessed with a perfect match
A future where you and I always would strive side by side

     Your touch paints the Heavens
     The fulfillment of my dreams
     I Can't Describe
It is ... the way I feel
It is ... the way I feel

PAINFUL LOVE AFFAIR

I love you, my love
I don't know why?
You are working hard,
I love you from nine to five
Soon will clock out
Going to our separate ways
To a life, I was forced at hand

Thanks for the attention,
My husband does not give.
Simple kisses with full affection
A love affair
No more teasing, no more flirting
Sneaking and releasing our lust and tension
Accidently caring.
We see everyone just staring.
Two lives now were torn

I love the things we talk about
Until that one day,
Which is now,
I have to say goodbye
Writing you a last love letter
Explaining the reason why?
No one can make this better
All I can do about this is cry

You said your wife was in doubt
My husband after soon found out
At that moment, I felt the need to die
In my face, he did more than shout.
Now I sit ---
Far away where I can't say hi
It's your baby, with no doubt.
The one thing my husband wants to deny
This love affair I can never talk about
Dead and gone

Premium Member Love You Can Paint All Colors of the Sky Azure

faraway as it opens your eyes chocolate melts now
wide with awe of a diamond wonder shining gleams
only if your were here embracing life magic majestic

love to spoil and cook for you something so delicious
putting your feet up softly watching a real-heart movie
sounds real my dream bride so beautiful and so real

as I looked into a candle as it flickers alone quietly
one light thinking dancing in thoughts all-together
night shades color the luster of a silver star winking

a small shadow pervades ever so blotting starlight
slightly as I hear you calling me as shades whisper
in our crowded corner thoughts of passionate love

distant faraway wonders breathless whispers calling
me toward simple things catching my breathing sighs
just throwing a few more turf on the fire right now

starting to heat up my frozen breaths icy steaming
clouds misting as the sky clouds my breath true blue
sweet dreams princess sits regal crowning charming

with the angels filled within love flying without wings
catch you in my dreams tonight until the sun kisses
your face and eyelids golden warm beautiful bright

Premium Member The Strange Marriage of Love and Pain

Love and Pain
Decided to get married
I know it seems strange
For you would have expected
Love and affection to want to tie the knot
After all…they were similar
They socialized in the same set of word families
The artistonyms
Love and passion also wanted
To be forever joined
That everyone condoned and blessed

But, oh, how everyone laughed
At the strange request
Of Love and Pain
To be wed
“What’s wrong with your head?
You two are from different worlds
From antonym slums
You can’t unite
And become one!”

Love held on to Pain
And would not let her go….
He smiled a knowing smile
“There has never been
One of us without the other
We belong…
For only when you truly encounter Love
Will you experience Pain.”

Pain shed a tear
And yet she smiled
“Where Love exists
I hover near…
Have no fear
Our union will produce
Beautiful babies
Love sires Joy
A darling child
Love fathers Peace
And Tranquility, in turn
These are the children we will bear
But do beware
Love can’t survive, without Me
For how would He know
How would He be certain
That he is alive….and well
Were it not for ME!

And so Love and Pain
Were wed
Amongst great fanfare
It was a match made in heaven
For never did they depart
One from another

Love and Pain?
Not so insane
Everyone did testify
That one did not come
Without the other
They were tied together
Inseparable
Nothing could come between them
Except their little babies
The most beautiful mixed babies
That eye shall ever see!
Sweet harmony
Of Love and Pain
Who lived.......companionably ever after!

The Pains of Night Without True Love

The ambient glow of the fireplace becomes hypnotic.
Home alone, always, without true love to snuggle me.
Each of many pains of night makes my mind neurotic.

Pathetic it may seem for a young and beautiful girl.
Alone again after years of searching; life becomes a whirl.
Incessant longing gnaws away at self-control.
Night brings its darkness to the weariness of my soul.
Satan takes a grip upon my sanity; I am no longer whole.

Oh, that I could find true love and live a life of joy.
Forever, I live searching, only to be someone’s toy.

Night without you, my true love, is a lonely curse.
If only I could find you, whoever you are, wherever you are.
Grateful love, come; I beg you and quench my thirst.
Heaven is but a thought away…as is suicide.
Touch me with your warmth; Save me and let love abide.

Where is the dream that I dreamt as a child.
I never knew that the world could be so wild.
Today is just one step in eternity, but forever alone.
How can I face another day; I know not!
Over and over the thoughts circulate in my mind.
Utter self-destructions seeming the only solution.
Then, I fear the great and dreadful consequence.

To live eternity alone would be unbearable.
Reality visits at the break of dawn, briefly.
Underneath these fancy clothes lies a broken heart.
Each day takes me to a new horizon…until night.

Loneliness tortures me; at dark I am immobile.
Oh, the pains of night without true love destroy.
Vitality sinks into Satan’s sullen ship; sips sorrows.
Everything seems lost, but I pray for true love, tomorrow.

Painting Our World With Love

When held in your arms
I'm crowned by your love
I know I am now safe
Your warmth empowers my inner soul
as I'm wrapped in your sweet embrace
You've inspired me to reach ever higher
as we launch into our new beginning
No storm or perils will break our meld
It's a partnership, not a confinement
respect, love and trust are intertwined
It's in your devoted love that I'm freed
Free to live, love and share life with you
Together we'll paint the world more glorious!

Love Is Pain

 Love is pain…

The love is light, delight if you have it, awesome flight.
No kiss or touch you need; all that you need is your sight.
When you look, all the look will be the kiss and your touch.
All tomorrows will be your one and only tonight.

Being enslaved to my love and soul until when?
My heart always demands to control until when?
Once if I find a knife, I will cut him in pieces.
Hope I have strength to hide him in a hole until when?

I'd rather live and not have any pain in my heart.
Why do I need the heart when nobody shares its part?
Regret that life is passing everybody so so fast.
If you don’t need the love out of the heart, pain will start.

What is this heart that has four different chambers in?
One is for love, the rest pain; it’s always has been.
If I'll be born again, I want to have no more heart,
I do not mind muscle, bone, and live in my skin.

The love that hurts is not love; it’s a painful burn.
If you survive the pain, you definitely will learn.
Let me have pain again. I want to burn one more time,
What a nice pain it is, I positively return.
