The gods and l
I am burning
With ethereal flames
With rising smoke
Beclouding my view
Choking out life
with the tick of time
Draining life's fluid
While handing its burdens
Alas the last peep
Beheld the fallen sun
making me cringe
And to cry
As my limbs writhe
liked pulled strings
In a macabre dance
Done by nature's best
I ponder as l pound
Crazily on the door of hope

If time shall not our derelict joys
Revive with tunes melodious so,
Let past's nostalgic merries balm
Our souls and bid all sorrows go.
Should ebbing laughter and smiles
Their cold arcs yet vanishing carve,
May old cheers of our jolliest whiles
Redeeming warmths pitifully impart.
Although gone mirths seldom thwart
Present galls despite their vivid hues,
Mortal forgetteries lulling blisses are,
As would certainly void painful clues.
Thus might sweetly reechoed tones,
Excerpts from our merriments dead,
Like beneficent ditties in unison allay
All lingering whits of lonesome dread.
And if blunt fate her forking bivouacs
Twirl and twine in drab manners sour,
Beclouding paths erst snowing white;
Here’s bold shield in life’s icings dour.

Flutters a crocodile gecko his thick-edged tail,
And licks his sticky lips with his twisted tongue;
His eyes ablaze with fire, and in his abdomen,
Rotten corpses stand erect like haunting tombs.
And now - withering thuds of heavy strides
Drown the boulder, the child’s hideout,
And a wretch with a deep cut on his right jaw
Towers, beclouding him like a deformed ghost.
A tender home gecko breaks his own tiny tail
As a trick to escape from Crocodile’s grip,
Yet Crocodile lands on the tailor-less soul,
Seizes him by his neck, and they wrestle and fall.
Wresting - rustling stops, and sky stands higher;
Nature’s slow somber music laments in a choir.

We had cried to the scorching sun
An expression of youthful forlorn
An orchestration to air our needs
Peaceful but firm were our deeds
Alas! the heralds of her arrival
Our mother ! A hope beclouding hopelessness
Together we scrambled around her entourage
Like wailing babes in need of a mother's massage
But our mama had renamed herself as barren
And turned deaf to the cries of her expectant children
We craved a rescue from our partial darkness
Only to be graced with permanent blackness
Our only crime was the belief in democracy
A misapprehension! A mirage ! A meticulous mockery !
Shots of bullets against our unarmed bodies
Battered, bruised and yet rebirthed as hoodlums
For where is the future of this shambolic nation
If the leaders of tomorrow are perishing today?
When shall justice be not portrayed as auction
Haggled and bought by only the highest pay?

Shafts of dimming colors
Awe of daylight jewels
Light beclouding visuals
A sight stunner of purity
In belly of fledgling piety

Illusions of bitterness beclouding my thoughts
The closer the deeper, the pains still hurts
The betrayal still lingers, memory refreshes
The prospect of re occurrence flashes before my Senses
Divine orders asking to let go
If only I had the guts to confront my closest foe
The ever brewing thoughts that to err is human
I won’t fall for that for betrayal is inhuman
And if all my Judgement are washed away
Then the wind blows my thoughts astray
Yet will I not forget your grievous betrayal
For it is written in the tablets of my heart forever

Click in an instance the human volcano erupts
From a distance, feel the sudden switch of countenance
So hot the magma boils
from inside it wont wait to spill over
Looking with intensity yet blind with rage
The feeling on stage acting as salvage
The entire sense of reasoning caged
Unreasonably out of gauge
Just then if not controlled
Boooommm!!!
Bloody lava flows out spiting wildfire
so fast mistakes happen
leaving evidence of ashes
sssshhhhhh!!!!!
it cools, and beclouding smokes disappear
the senses awake and the eyes brighten.
Never say it was the work of the devil cus he may be asleep.

THE LAST SUICIDE.
It starts with a thought,
An overflow of negative push,
Beclouding our sense of right,
Tempting to replace the love for life with a dark wish.
A route familiar to the weak and the brave alike,
A wilderness of despair,
A battlefield where night and day struggle,
A vineyard of thorns and anger.
It starts with an innermost dark desire,
An unending will to make a quick exit,
From a world that muddles our sense of existence,
To a place of perceived peace and quiet.
It also starts with a deeper thought,
The will to think a thoughtful thought,
The believe for a second shot at life,
The hunch to desire here than there.
What of our loved ones,
What of our friends,
What of the promises that we behold,
What of the seeds that tomorrow hold.
Afterall the rose and its thorn stay close,
Night always gives way to day,
Seasons last awhile only,
The troubles that life brings never stay forever.
Take hold of your thought,
Let in the sunlight when darkness closes the shutters,
Take pleasure in the dreams of tomorrow,
Seek a room with a better view on life.

TWILIGHT TIME
A dawning of another day
Is sure to come
But I cannot fathom
This lonely feeling of mine
My heart is nervous
I cannot understand and control
As if this day would never come!
Now, I think of the past
Beclouding my future…my faith
And yet I aspire
For the rainbow, for hope
Yes, I long to see you again and again
It is inevitable but it is sandwiched
Before daybreak and twilight time
is here to stay forever!

My heart is bowed
in suffering,
And all around me
seems dark,
My understanding fails
my situation,
And God seems so
far away.
The promises of God
seem unfulfilled,
And within me the
seeds germinate,
Beclouding my avowed sonship
with doubts,
Over my relationship with
heavenly Father.
Efforts in dutiful praying
failed abysmally,
Attempts on singing praises
hit rocks,
Landing me full plumb
in a strait,
As thoughts my mind
severely assault.
Then I heard Him
say to me,
My grace is sufficient for you.
Cast your mind on me
letting His peace ,
rule your heart and
His love your mind.
