Premium Member When Did All This Happen

When did the world become so young
         Every flight crew averages 22
My health care ‘professionals’ all do too

When did talking to people stop
Texting each other three feet away
Tiktoking your way through the day

Where did all the baseball diamonds go
Replaced by b-ball and pickleball courts
Populated by weird folks of all sorts

When did it become OK to swear
          Little censorship anywhere
Females worse than males, I hear

Where this all ends I am not sure
One thing I know ~ none of it’s pure

Premium Member Ball of Fire

Ball of fire

A ball of white fire,
aglow within all hearts,
being seat of our soul,
is where creation starts.

Love, wisdom and power
are it’s attributes,
healing then being the way,
our soul contributes.

The process is simple;
balls of fire merge
erasing all negativity,
propelled by a bliss surge.

Call of pure love beckons
God, who with us does conspire
to fulfil emotes of innocence,
within soul’s ball of fire.

ball
bouncy, inflated,
chasing, juggling, throwing,
footwork, kick, imprisonment, shackle
dangling, yanking, dragging,
tethered, unbroken

Premium Member Mickey Loves B Ball

Mickey plays basketball in his free time,
He has a very cool slam dunk as well.
When he is shooting hoops, he feels sublime.
As Minnie watched him play, her heart would swell.

He has a very cool slam dunk as well,
Him and his gang would play ball on weekends.
As Minnie watched him play, her heart would swell,
He enjoys hanging out with his best friends.

Him and his gang would play ball on weekends,
When he is shooting hoops, he feels sublime.
He enjoys hanging out with his best friends,
Mickey plays basketball in his free time.

Homophonous Intervention

I was sailing with my friends to explore
the site with my sight

I stand on the edge and see a sea

Quickly grabbed my blue whistle and blew

They all stood here beneath me to hear

Wasn't allowed to make noise aloud

Annoyed a little they stare at me as i came down the stair

I would always wish to be like bee

Someone threw the ball on me with a terrifying bawl

A new person whom I never knew

He purposely did that ..to ask me some sum

But I shared fruits instead ,we all happily ate at eight

I gave two of them to helmsman too

We were about to reach our place in an hour.

As we arrived the destination ran in gait to open the gate...!!

MASQUERADE BALL MACABRE

clash of swords and ebony bones,
this masquerade ball quickens her pulse.
her mask’s sutured to her face.
panic embraces her opaque eyes.

silver flashes, like lightening bolts, to win her hand.
spectres did hypnotize her, thus paralyzed and
abandoned to this land of obscurity.
she reaches out to plead, in a grave moment of despair.

her white gown gutted, spills crimson from her limb.
Esmeralda remains aloof for the juncture of the clash.
head throbs from the sound of shrieking bones.
likewise, the wound pounds, as her heart sinks further south,

into oblivion, building a veneer of defiance towards eventual death.
pitch black horror and melting wax of a ghostly moon devours,
what’s left of her innocence. Her silent screams grow ever stronger.
the clash of swords and ebony bones have gone quiet.

Ball Bugger Fred

Ball buster Fred wants the workers unfed,
and when his **** turns to clay,
reborn Karma says,
black in the face he will pray,
but his God wants him there underfed,
ok....Don Johnson

My Two Sports

I have two favorite sports.
On a stage and the b.ball court!
       That's right, I'm a basketball player.
A bonafide rhyme slayer!

       I can shoot a three-pointer
and give a defending player whiplash!
       I'm a shooting guard
Like Steve Nash.

       A spoken word poet
in a demented rage.
       I like the spotlight.
When I take the stage.

These are the sports I'm good at.
On the stage or basketball court, I'm trained for combat!

B-Ball Chick

If my nigga need help,
I'm his shoulder to lean on.
If my nigga need a hand, he gon' have both of mine.
When it's time to ride,
I got the passenger seat.
When he need inspiration,
I'm his muse.
Inseperable.
That's what we are.
Even on the court,
he don't choose his boys,
he don't choose a guy at all.
He chooses me.
His girl.
His woman.
His muse...
His b-ball chick

Where I'M From

I am from the Holy
From the bible and the small but unique church
I am from the three storied building on decent street
I am from the daisies but mixed slightly with cactus
I'm from faith and be a leader

I am from Rosetta and James
I am from good hair and the coca cola shape
From "Go do this, go do that"
Come right back and stay prayerful
I'm from, "He's blessed me
Whether it's big or small" but with great meaning

I'm from Florida, born in O.T.
Fried chicken and homemade beef stew
From the gash my sister got from playing
To the sprang ankle my brother got while playing b-ball
Sitting in the living room are three special albums
Albums of memories and special events of course
Photos of beautiful faces

Some of who are barely seen
Then those who are gone with the Lord
I am from those moments
All in which are leading me to the path of my dreams
Leading me with a sense of mind
to search and not be blind.
