We all agreed

Type of popular appeal

The soft launch
We got something
Going on
New to you
She and been dating
For sometime
Is it delusional
To say I am
Her only one
Am I crazy to say
I am her man
Form: Ballade

Premium Member Love Looks With The Mind

There must be
a meeting of personalities,
a synchronization of Souls,
lots of the same ground
for 2 people
to become a couple
Love doesn't mesh
with the eyes
but with the mind.
Intelligence is the key
You must have
common interests, likes
Nowadays even
political views to
avoid discrepancies
making the relationship
go smooth, effortless
Not to say that
attractiveness doesn't matter
but is a part of a
combination of the whole

Here and There

Here and there, people grow;
Grow by life’s challenges.
Challenges multiply but go;
Go to new lands.

Lands are here and there for better;
Better for green pastures.
Pastures inviting people and animals;
Animals certainly trail weather.

Weather’s sometimes attractive;
Attractiveness brought us here.
Here is one more struggle;
For life is all about wounds and scars.

Scars can go; others remain indelible.
Indelible because we live to experience;
Experience for building our humanity.
Humanity on a new land here;
Here is not the endless end.

Rizz, a Cola lost of fizz

The year-end creeps, mercuries freeze,
And buzz up English dictionaries,
All in a forward gear
To find Word of the Year,
Which, for Oxford is the slang rizz—
An argot not so clear,
Froth less, bubbleless beer,
Or a cola lost of all fizz!

Poet’s note: Rizz, this year’s Word of the Year, is a slang that means style, charm, attractiveness, ability to attract romantic or sexual partner, and a few more vague things as per Oxford University Press. Big deal!

Romance

Romance:

Reaching up to
Offer you a kiss being,
Mesmerized by your
Attractiveness and gentle
Nature--nestled
Close to your body
Embraced in love.

Resting peacefully by the
Open, crackling fire
My hearts desires and
Aspirations to
Never leave you
Committing to obey God
Expressing my love solely to you.

Let Peace Be Still Again

I do love colors in my childhood.
Then, its about its attractiveness
But when I learnt more of it in my adulthood,
I have my chance to paint the ones that describe toughness.

In pain, I am made white,
Gentle dove sobering in his plight.
Pains make me go black in fright,
Wondering lonely as a starless night.

I wish I could turn red,
Dangerous and eager to lay my pains to bed.
I sometimes wish to become a blue bird,
And sink all in ocean depth well gird.

But pains are yellow: daffodil,
Dancing and blowing its trumpet crown still,
In pain; at risk if deep, may attract insane thrills
I wonder what perfect cures are the pills.

The world is so humble in pain,
As Corona virus get all detain.
Is just too difficult a world war 3 to explain,
Though we all hope a day will end it's reign.

We all take to this task:
Tightening up the face mask,
With our loved ones; afraid to bask,
When will the world be unmask?

We aren't created to perish.
God let our dying breathes be cherished.
That's the world's wish,
And peace will be accomplished

Premium Member Wonderstruck Loveliness

It's chilling outside, and it's shivery.
Wary of the downpour, she remains mostly,

Under the forlorn tree, similar to a statue,
Eyes, the cloud of sunset sparkles too.

I view murkiness from afar off the shimmer of Orion.
Our spirit imperativeness conveys me to the horizon,

Stars brushing and sky sparkle are wonderstruck.
Same as sculpture mold on a wall that you can pluck.

Her attractiveness is obvious to me, in complete calm.
Or when she cries in the middle of a mountain balm.

I'm ready to perceive her beauty in her heart and mind.
Inside the moles on her face, she blemishes as a hind.

Everything she is, or everything she shows.
When the night is ending, it expands and grows.

I understand I'm depicting my woman purposely.
There's a ton of things we don't even see,

In a world with everything we crave, yet disagree.
Need to be cherished, ensured, and in security.

A Pure Reflection of Myself

I dare to challenge
the source that sustains life
to show a pure reflection of myself,
of a face not ravaged by time.

I may look younger and vibrant,
I may walk quicker than a teen
and put to shame a chabby one
who can hardly take a step forward.

Inside I have stored the great wisdom
of my ancenstors who lived in medieval times,
and with their genius made Europe
them come out of their gloominess and danger.

When northern Europe was frozen and desolate,
people came to Italy to seek warmer regions
and they mixed with the locals to create
an attractive race of strong men and sexy women.

It's the Italian genes that make me unique,
a handsome face and a gorgeous body...
a Greek god that is not ashamed of nudity
claiming his handsomess and physical attractiveness.

It's time I looked into the clearest water that reflects true masculinity:
the innocence that youth wasn't able to erase too easily,
and having hard muscles and the willingness to fight bellicosly:
I will not encounter an adversary who can challenge me and defeat me.

Premium Member An Attractive Thought Experiment

In this thought experiment
Adults, at least,
have developed three types of attraction
and attractiveness,
chemistry,
positive and negative
and in-between energy:

Heart attraction,
romantically associated
with touch and feeling,

Mind attraction,
more cognitively associated
with sight and sound
and, perhaps, LeftBrain dissonance
and more competitive
predative instincts,

And root sexual attraction,
primordially associated with taste
and smell,
swallowing
and letting go
biochemistry,
neurologically informed
and exforming passions,
rhythms,
communion and disunion patterns,
non-violent/predative communication structures,
win/win resilient
and lose/lose dissonant,
LeftThought and RightFelt pleasure/unease/disease

Ecological and Theological,
natural and spiritual
secular and sacred
physical and metaphysical.

Sex Appeal

How do we know it ends?
Or....did we end it?
We declare ourselves no longer
pretty or handsome!
Think...Edith Piaf.
{ her bio is online}
Edith married a way younger
man.

She was a French chanteuse.
Hardly ugly nor her face the
color of chartreuse.
I think tis we who make our
sex appeal end.
No matter how, what, why.
how or when.
We cast ourselves as "old.
No longer, a sexual being."
And, with that, we ourselves,
Are the creators of our own
sexual attractiveness undoing.
