At any rate, reading a novel
a slow-moving French drama
doesn't grab my interest.
Indulge me,
by the time I get to the middle
it will be fast moving.
Will they end up together?
It will be, if it is meant to be.

At any rate, it's going to be epic
Its going to be amazingly bold
Awesomely cool
Just plain right legendary
It'll be twisted
It'll be renounced
It'll be (for lack of a better word)
Flumongous!
At any rate, it will be fast moving,
especialy faster than a flower blooming ,
At 12 I can rhyme faster than metro booming,
Saw somone , thought it was my friend , but it waas just my poetry words at the end, i talked to them they said they are fine but then i got arrested for a fast talking fine , but to get out i have to pay a dime . But too bad i only have 1 nickel and 4 pennies of mine .

What happens
Next a neuron
Fired or quit
Working right
Then and there
Went the neighborhood
Where Sarah Belle ummm...
Lived but for
Got
Why
Memory
Jogging
Or refreshed this
Time
Is up
And running
Up and running
Up and
Run for your life
Went on
About its business
Casual
Tea is empty
Ness that dragon
Loch and cay
Puff like magic
And it's gone
At any rate
it came along.
At any rate it has been said
better alive than dead
For each day is made for living
even if it’s not so giving
It is better to feel pain and move on
for it transcends each and every dawn
Bring on sadness and grief
let misery be brief
Have tears run down your cheek
if it leads to the one you seek
When things are gut wrenching
it’s kind of like a good drenching
Where you may feel all wet inside
as if there is nowhere to hide
In moments when things are dark
reality seems most stark
Contrasting night and day
illuminating another way
For you to see right from wrong
weak from strong
Highs may come and go
but you’re the master of your show
So dry the tears and don’t depress
don your very best dress
For happiness can’t be far away
at least that’s what they say

Driving home for a visit long overdue
along the NJ turnpike, the Delaware, straight away I flew,
down to Baltimore once more while leaning on the horn
scenery consistent and familiar with the road weather worn.
The exits looked unfamiliar, tolls now increased and gained
the road a little wider than before, the tally upward of insane
and backed up to the tolls and bridges - a bevy of traffic
causing wonder, what, where, when, why spoke vocal graphics.
Then three hours in I finally spied
the exit missed, in my surprise, I cried,
I ached from the journey, the drawn out highway slide
back tracking, at last, I again became home fried.
At any rate, there was the house at last
and out of the car I hurried fast,
greeted at the door, we hugged, we laughed
watching my parked car slide down the driveway path.
The short visit planned was now an extender
bumper and car creating a fender bender.
At any rate, there it was, fast moving,
speeding car, driver and insurance disapproving.

At any rate the sunshine kissed the rose
It hesitated lest the fog could impede it
It waited at the striped shadow of those
Tall palm trees keeping up its high spirits
Until the mist in front of the rose melted
Until the pink petals looked resplendent
Until its aroused waves further crested
It said, further cloud and frost I haven't
There was still a cat chewing some bone
A crow trying to snatch a piece or two
The rose shone at the top of a green cone
The sunshine said, I am crazy to love you
Electricity flowing it crosses the bend
Reaches the fragrant root of the rose
Climbs to the top in madness to blend
With its girlfriend and the breeze blows

“At any rate”, be fast moving and be full of surprises
Take control of what you have, make no sacrifices
Stay on top of your game and keep the ball rolling
Have intention, keep direction and know where you’re going
If you become predictable, embrace a change
Don’t risk becoming mediocre or, worse, mundane
Evolution is essential to keep up with the world around
Attentiveness will speak volumes, don’t mute the sound
I don’t just want you to jump. I want you to dive
Head first, steady paced, motivation and drive
The world is your red carpet, but only for a while
Don’t postpone it or loan it, but own it and smile
At any rate I sure moved fast
Hope my diarrhoea doesn’t last
It’s coming out quick its in a rush
I’ve a burning feeling in my tush
Excuse me I just have to run
For it is pouring out my bum

At any rate, she knew she wasn’t alone
With both the baritone and guy with the trombone
‘Twas hard to tell wearing the blindfold
Which was holding onto the bricks of gold
She decided to have fun and play along
Drew the line at joining their silly drinking song
She found herself lounging on a bearskin
And in a crinoline feeling quite feminine
So far the sideline was odd yet somewhat divine
When she recalled needing to catch a flight by nine
No time for shopping in spite of having gold to blow
At any rate, she had a plane to catch and had to go

At any rate...I had a full plate
yesterday my tire went flat
the day before I lost a cat
last week I forgot to feed a fish
so the office is now full of dish
My dress has a smear
and it is very clear from here
nothing will go right
and I should just give up the fight
I tried to call my love...
so he could treat me like ...a dove
but he called the cops instead
and threatened me with lead
shoes... I need some!
but no I am not done
I dropped the pizza and the wine
Isn't that just divine!?
So I will drown my sorrows in shampoo
and use that new Keratiny goo
I will fix a bowl of nuts and berries
and promise to be merry
.................next year!
