At Any Rate a Full Plate
At any rate...I had a full plate
yesterday my tire went flat
the day before I lost a cat
last week I forgot to feed a fish
so the office is now full of dish
My dress has a smear
and it is very clear from here
nothing will go right
and I should just give up the fight
I tried to call my love...
so he could treat me like ...a dove
but he called the cops instead
and threatened me with lead
shoes... I need some!
but no I am not done
I dropped the pizza and the wine
Isn't that just divine!?
So I will drown my sorrows in shampoo
and use that new Keratiny goo
I will fix a bowl of nuts and berries
and promise to be merry
.................next year!
