Premium MemberTwo realities

the unmanifest and the manifest
as energy withheld and then released
descent in duality then a test
that the demons we nurtured be appeased

the unmanifest is beyond space-time
as such it cannot be known to our mind
but in staid silence synced with bliss beat’s chime
one with the all we’re then divine entwined

though immersed within but not of the world
then as both immanent and transcendent
breath by breath as flag of love is unfurled
we recognise our Self, light resplendent

the cosmic egg is wherefrom we were born ~
we return to heaven when ego’s shorn

befriending silence, our soul is released ~

Premium MemberTruth

Truth is not for everyone --
some prefer lies...some prefer
dyes, and not natural soul color.
Some prefer love~ and some just mouth
the word...never to be heard nor
felt deeply nearer the heart. It's like that with
most things, the prose and cons of openly
living as opposed to falsely revealing:

Some contrive a story-line, while other
authors bare their internal organs, whether
well or wildly diseased! No composition
ever entirely cured beyond remission,
the literary beast, fed, caged,
though only temporarily appeased.

Premium MemberThe Moon Is Made of Cheese

Sometimes I wish the moon
was cheese -- for those hungry
nights of unclaimed desire

subdued somewhat with a late
night snack -- now I am really
talking crackers...

as the heart is never appeased
long, by glob of jelly
or a dab of peanut-butter

Truth needing more than ice cream

brand, what will be remembered

as the cone of Democrats' Melted
Glory --

The Weight Of Our Thoughts

THE WEIGHT OF OUR THOUGHTS

Mind, the supreme gift to humankind is,
Plentiful thoughts criss-crossing whiz;
Enchanted spirits gliding high,
Success triumph when almost nigh!

Gratified the mind, with content filled,
Appeased exuberant gladly thrilled;
Vibrant agile mind dancing sprightly,
Energetic playful the outer selves’ lively!

When crestfallen desolate state of mind,
Languorous listless strolling down the alley blind;
Depressed psyche despondent gloomy,
Anguished being humming songs melancholy!

Strolling with heavy steps or light-hearted trots,
Let’s not carry The Weight Of Our Thoughts!

Rasta Chant

How dare you spit upon his garb!
This peaceful bredda who by nature only loves,
When you should have been his Rasta queen
Your ghastly behaviour drew a scene
And I- woman just like you
Hang my head in shame
As you defile our name.

Selassie-I know seh di Rasta man took a deep breath
To honour his philosophy,
But like a lamb to the slaughter,
he was reduced
In front of the whole community.

He sought calm in his Rasta chant
Swallowed his pride,
Turned the next cheek, and with human dignity.
Yet that pouncing Jezebel
Delilah,
Demon picknie,
Shameless femininity
Minimized her king,
Cared nothing that he is masculine.

She is no empress
and certainly not a Ital-dawtah!
She mocked and cursed him
Bullied him and sullied his character.
Vilified him as the on-lookers magnified
Scorned, mistreated and humiliated.

But when upon each other their backs were turned
The fury in the lion roared
And in that moment, he went against his Rasta chant
And knocked her out flat on her face.

I won’t apologize for feeling appeased
For you are a disgrace to the female race!

In the world of love

In the world of love, where hearts dance free,
A ghazal of longing, I shall weave for thee.
Like a gentle breeze, love brushes our souls,
Transforming us into beings whole, bold and free.

In the night's embrace, passion ignites its flame,
Whispered secrets aflame, a tale untold, we decree.
With every beat of our hearts, a song plays,
Melodies of love unfold, a serenade to believe.

In the depths of our eyes, connection intertwines,
A language of love, unspoken and yet received.
From dawn till dusk, I'll cherish this bond,
With each passing moment, deeper love achieved.

Together we soar, like two souls in flight,
Captivating the skies above, love's journey, unseized.
No barriers or boundaries can hold us back,
For in the world of love, all obstacles are appeased.

As the stars twinkle in the velvet night,
We'll dance in their glow, a love story conceived.
So, let us revel in this sacred affair,
In this ghazal of love, forever interweaved.

Not Here, But There

We have seen this before.
'blood sacrifice,'
an offering of dead children,
two rapacious Gods must be appeased.
Of course America kills more babies
spills more blood,
swears loudly
that in a blind God

We Trust.
Let us fight the good fight
not here, but over there
while the light
dies in our eyes.

Bright As the Autumn Leaves

Amble through to the forest's trees
Front and center if you might believe
Fronds of many you shall see
Fluttering to rest by autumnal breeze

Gaily sparrows chirp as pleased
Peck by Peck as appeased
Such a sound so sweet to all
This is a time we know as fall

Gusts of wind, grazing leaves
Blowing through this very street
Everyone near and far
Joined together, stare afar

Rest to summer, yet before colds wake
Pumpkin carving, leaves are raked
So please stop and take a moment to breath
And be as bright as the autumn leaves

Premium MemberDappled

I dream of dappled light
Falling upon my eager face
Winter at last has taken flight
Perfection of Spring embraced.

Softness permeates joyful breeze
Newfound temperance everywhere
Forest unfurled fresh green leaves
Hellebores flourish over there.

Yellow primrose quite sublime
Lovely bloom in Spring's hedgerow
Bluebells with their silent chime
Dappled light creates mystic glow.

My Winter soul at last appeased
Wherever I look beauty resides
Like a prayer nature's very own creed
Divinity unleashed I am baptised.

Premium MemberTo the Measure

To the measure you seek, you find
And reaping comes after you sow.
From the depths of humility known,
Then to exaltation flown.

To the measure you give, it is given
And love fully granted, is earned.
From self to selflessness learned:
Then spectacular blessings return.

To the measure you knock, it is opened
And if you keep asking, it’s granted.
When faith as a seed is planted
Then the work of the devil, supplanted.

To the measure you pray, He moves
And petitions lifted, He hears.
From mountains far to valleys near,
Earnest prayers bend His ear.

To the measure you weep, you’ll rejoice
If a broken heart you surrender
Joy unspeakable will be rendered
And hope finds spectacular splendor.

To the measure you never stop seeking
And you weary the Lord with your pleas
So God’s provisions will flow with ease
And your longings, forever appeased.

To the measure you believe that He IS…
And that He rewards all who seek after
New blessings from floor to the rafters
Will endure in your life everlasting.

Premium MemberAvoiding Conflict

No one needs complications in their life
                   Merely living is a puzzling ordeal,
Presenting more than enough strife
                   Or at least that’s how I feel.
I try to avoid conflict whenever possible
                   Going out of my way to please,
But then, I encounter the implausible
                   Those who cannot be appeased.
So, I use the only weapon at my disposal
                   Where I learned it, I do not know,
I turn away and walk the other direction
                   When I’ve nowhere else to go.

Premium MemberClimate Changes

Mother Nature is embracing the climate changes
Although I suspect she may not be pleased,
As seedtime and harvest she slowly rearranges

To keep her four times and seasons appeased,
Mother adjusts to accommodate bouts of weather
Although I suspect she may not be pleased.

I often ask myself, concerning changes, whether
We human beings might be better off to adjust
Mother adjusts to accommodate bouts of weather!

We must acknowledge change, learning to trust
Powers that are greater than us are in charge
We human beings might be better off to adjust.

As to our understanding the universe, writ large,
We are so limited compared to Mother Nature
Powers that are greater than us are in charge.

So, let’s give homage to the great Administrator,
Mother Nature, is embracing the climate changes
[We are so limited compared to Mother Nature],
As seedtime and harvest she slowly rearranges.

Premium MemberI Am I Shall Be Found Nix the Skies Above the Clouds-

Somewhere I will go and I’ll be in the know
Finding fault with myself
Appeased and neglect
Holding on unto hope
Prayer just talking to the Savoir
Acknowledging my God my author my finisher
Now when my breathe is finally blown
And the trumpet has played its final note
Connect arise, arise I fly I float;
As God whispers liken Superman up, up and away
I go
I am, I shall be found nix the skies above the clouds
past heavens doors on the golden walks and shores
I'll be
I am, I shall be found nix the skies above the clouds

Premium MemberIn So It Looks Down the Brook-This Is How It Looks-

Weeping waters flow;
Down the brook;
Rubbing against the rocks;
In so it looks;

A leafily tree;
Winds has it waving at me;
Kissing are the cool autumn breeze;

O' did I mention;
The lavender intentions;
Radiant aroma scented appeased;

Wind shaken;
The calmness fleets goodbyes;
Calming blue-purple royal skies;

Weeping waters flow;
Down the brook;
Rubbing against the rocks;
In so it looks;
