Premium MemberMy Friend Is the Ocean

My friend is the ocean, waters that glide,
Rustling my footsteps and tousling my hair;
Many the times that we walked side by side,
A spark and forever, joined as a pair.
Always a cloud there lay over its play,
Dappled the sunlight that fell on my face;
Heaving, its waters had something to say;
Twilight with meteors it took for the place.
Rising from breakers, said spirit to me,
“Sunlight and storms must both in the sea lie;
These are my words,” sad the heart of the sea,
“Know that I love you, and by me, shall die.”
What is the darkness that’s in the sea’s soul?
What can it counter, and what not annul?

Premium MemberGentle Earth, I Beg of You -

Gentle Earth, I beg of you –
Whisper to us the first sign of spring.
Annul this wintry despair
And a season of life anew, bring.
From the depths of Baja
Carry the warmth in upon a draft.
Poke the sunshine through grumbly clouds
And send it down as a gilded shaft.
Clothe the desert with the raiment
Of fleeting sheets of white rain.
Implore the wildflowers that they
Bestow upon us a fantastic display.
Help the button-face of the brittlebush
Peep over the dead, crumpled brush.
Bring forth the canyon penstemon.
Make the Mexican lime cactus flush.
With one quick stroke of rain
Paint the delicate creosote yellow.
Order the Engelmann’s cactus to raise
Their trumpets of fuchsia and blow.
Tempt forth the birds to sing – listen!
I beg, usher March in.

Premium MemberQueen Catherine

Queen Catherine knew Henry’s intention, her husband had an evil heart
He tried to divorce or annul her, so he could marry Anne, his little tart.
They had been married twenty-four years, the Catholic church said no.
King Henry VIII was so arrogant, he started a baby-fit-kind-of-show
Had himself declared the head of the church, threw out the pope
Catherine’s relief for the poor was legend, her husband was declared a dope.

Premium MemberAbracadabra

“Abracadabra, brass candelabra”
Bright, white light, to dark succumb
Ring the ears, trip tongues to slur
Annul sight, dim cornea

Cast your magic, mayhem, havoc
Advance enigma, elude stigma
Danger-gravid, power-avid

“Astral blast, come” cast penumbra
Blunt sweet senses, dense and numb
Rot and blot, aurora blur
Addle brain with morphia

Premium MemberDuchess Has Den Lind's Empathetic Yen

Duchess has Den, Lind's Empathetic Yen
Laughing with Casey gave "rise" to a fall,
Giving "urgery" to surgery,
We pray the setback is soon annul!
Sometimes when mishaps occur,
Causes appreciation in full,
When things stop working,
Face the horns of the bull,
Carpe Diem! Step back & reflect,
Refute descent, resaddle!
Read, think, thank, pray, sing,
May the Big One bless you ->"Troubles Skedaddle!"

Premium MemberAnti-Vow of Modern Man

I'll marry you, for health and wealth
but not till you're old and gray...

(I'm not opposed to leaving you
for a younger woman someday...)

Don't be surprised, my pet
afterall WE didn't wait

So obviously marriage is not
necessary to conjugate

You believed we were besties
but don't be fooled my dear

Now you are my lust object
or I'll tell everyone you're *****

Now do most the at-home work
and go work outside it too

Money is much more important
than whether you're content or blue

Go ahead and raise the kids
going to church, and praying

But you knew when you married me
I'm not into all that! (Just saying!)

To me, marriage is just a deal
not a holy Sacrament

Guess that means you could annul
if I misunderstood what it meant

Premium MemberUnblinking Third Eye

Chakra midst the forehead; way to spiritual empire;
Symbol of complete consciousness and ethical umpire;
Disposition of enlightenment; corporeal world;
Integral unity; angelic wisdom within furled...!

Myths speak of Lord Shiva comprehending through his third eye;
He could annul ignorance; see yonder limits of sky;
The mystical clairvoyance is on; inner sight glazes;
Purple splendor like Amethyst; wisdom within blazes...!

Single-mindedness, precision, inspiration, insight,
Unblinking third eye is continually glowing light;
Perceiving the world sacredly; connecting to cosmos;
Within ever-shining divinity it does engross...!

Abolishing dubiety, vagueness and skepticism,
Uprooting adverse weeds of purposelessness and pessimism;
Gives coherence, assiduousness, spontaneity,
Leads to endless bliss; merging with eternal deity...!

Narrated Ibn Masud:A man kissed a woman(unlawfully)and then went to the Prophet and informed him.Allah revealed:And offer prayers perfectly at the two ends of the day And in some hours of the night(i.e.the five compulsory prayers. Verily! good deeds remove (annul) the evil deeds (small sins)(The man asked Allah's Apostle,Is it for me?"He said,,It is for all my followers.

Premium MemberTenderness Never Lost

You were my river, my white water rapids rushing.
I recall your floating liquid eyes in my whispering vespers.
You were my noblest test, but then your loss came crushing.
My realization too late, I was left living among the lepers.
Still, I sip your supper on my florid palate of your beguiling.
I recall each day, my grieving litany of meager failures.
I keep your smiling pictures and I covet our reconciling.
For me, the reflection of our tender amatory still allures.
Taking you for granted, I met your power to annul.
I surely got my just dessert, this harsh desert in my chest.
But I am alive, recalling our fresh love on a separate channel.
In my delusion, we circle in dance, our bodies in sexual arrest.

Of course, I know my reenactments can never bring you home.
Instead, it is tenderness never lost that inspires this poem.

IF EVER I HAD A COUNTRY…

                   V

If ever I had a country
And if I were the Minister of Justice
I'd keep an open eye on covert fascist lechers
To arraign dodgers from witch sick woman's clutches
Who annul marriages the Holy See blesses
To mask her lewd tantrums in the Secret Services
That is, if ever I were the Minister of Justice
And even if I never had no country

                   VI

If ever I had a country
And if I were the Home Secretary
I'd make all secret files on all dignitaries
An open book on the art of rape incest or adultery
Pedophily sodomy perversity y compris
Not to mention lodge-keepers' skulduggery
That is, if ever I were the Home Secretary
And even if I never had no country

Happy New Year

May the New Year
Bring Ecstasy to everyone
   and hunger for none
Make the food crops grow
   and Rivers have perpetual flow
Help to halt the hatred
   and ruin the rancor
Comfort the indigenous people
   to strive against the evils
Enhance the global tourism
    and annul terrorism
Pinpoint the phonies
   and cleanse the cities
Smash the poverty
   and increase generosity
Promulgate universal peace
Shatter barriers into pieces
   Wish you all a wonderful New year

Slavery Ii

My soul rebuffs this show of selfless gain ,
Though my wages are higher than a few ,
I’m still encased in caves like an insane ,
As my reign as the head beclouds my view .

Ploughing other people’s farm for so long ,
Oblivious of time is full of deceit ,
Which in reality makes me change my song ,
My boss wants me to remain on this seat ,

But I need to annul this present state ,
Though many goodies attached at this time ,
To remain stagnant is not a good fate ,
Started this long ago ,when in my prime .

Alas! Now my muscles and bones are weak ,
Grey hairs emit from my skins with passion ,
Being in this cosmetic state makes me sick ,
As my mind detests and loves this fission .
