My last wet tears
stain the starlit sky
in cold frosted shades
As tangible fears
awaken sleeping
distant memories
of aged hidden pain
These mortified eyes
don't recall the tales
my children now tell
of my past sad sins
In my dire defence
lasting episodes
of assembling joy
never did escape
parent's cutting lips
A pale memory
fades in present days
I don't remember
teen tornado years
My acts of dark hate
left deep open scars
ones that never healed
I long to rewind
grains of quicksand time
learn the art of love
perhaps forgiveness
will thrive when I’m gone.
Timeless lyrical,
compassionate dance,
a shifting effect
of light and color,
the glowing full moon
conducts in folk tune.
Indispensable
distant humble stars
spring a russet, sign.
White unfolded wings
flitter wayward round
a rhythmic beating
in shadow, chill, air.
The spike tuft ears owl
melodies hooting,
influence passion.
A lovers' heartbeat
keeping steady rhythm.
A starlight guides the
way by windswept night.
Worshippers at best
believing in hope
and peaceful rest
as we sing
blest by our King
who sits on throne
so we can look up,
kneel, stand up,
keen to His reign
ready and willing
to accept His grace
and life’s newness
as we begin
fresh and strong
bathed in sunlight
whatever season
to disregard lies
reach for the truth
play loud our tunes
with cheerfulness
within and without
this taste of heaven
living loud
in solitude
in gratefulness
for what is next
is to take each step
as if roses
scented our path
of faithfulness
Still bleeding from curse of hate.
Demon eyes gaze at my fate.
Where is my silent sweet knight,
who will save me from this plight?
Slay this evil with his wrath,
then lay petals on my path.

made for earthling castaways

Roses spread with lace garter;
Boutonnière and charter.
Green meadow eyes clung to lass.
Juliet was upper class.
A shepherd was he, with crook.
All gentle men, she forsook.
Under the willow, the wind
Warmed petals with no rescind.
Tempo was slow with his bride
Deep smile, a groom could not hide.
Underneath his ruddy beard,
“Reverie,” the garden cheered.
How lucky was a poor man
To find a robust woman.
Off the balcony she came.
Her shepherd, never the same.
Softly, one grey spider weaves
underneath the heart-shaped leaves.
Upside-down, cicadas cling.
All the day they loudly sing.
I stand still beneath them all.
They are little. I am small.
Like a pale red running rose
Are the cheeks of my love, his nose
After he has walked a mile
Thinking of me all the while
At the opened door a kiss
His heart melts with the sheer bliss
Then the children gather round
Screams, laughter, those joyous sounds
Hugs and kisses, lets go play
Hopes of sex, delayed that day
next to fountain nude she stood,
a delight for all manhood!
her skin was fair, curls so black,
muscles showed down to her back.
her hands were on both her breasts,
smile was invite to the guests.
a few more girls kept her side,
not demure, their legs were wide.
there was joy and laughter too,
men milled around, stole a view.
wine with beer made men bawdy,
some old spinsters went rowdy!
nudes remained by the fountain,
sculpted stones from rock mountain!
nude stone sculptors are a charm,
why profane in human form?
Two stars fell down from the sky.
They winked at me and smiled “hi.”
So entranced was I to see
heaven’s sweetness there by me!
Black of midnight was his hair.
Moon glow was his face so fair.
Charmed by her exotic glance
She enchants a sexy dance
In costumed display of art
Strumming rhythms of joyful heart
Choreographing slow grooves
In graceful, musical moves
As gestures paint passion themes
And song of love stokes their dreams
When desires-enamored spree
Hypnotized in tunes of glee
But look closely, watch her sigh
Hear the bawl of tearless cry
When crowds deceitful extol
Exhibit of anguished soul
As smiles aesthetic hide pain
And feigned visage cries disdain
Cheer for her to turn the page
For she longs to leave this cage
Leave realms inebriated
Of drunk notions, ill-fated
Night lifted ebony shroud
from smoky sky draped in cloud,
gold shower sprinkled with flair,
spread scarlet hue in the air.
Luster lighted the meadow,
pearls of dew dazzled to glow.
Stream of love started to spurt
as tuned torrent in my heart,
sprayed silver sequins on me,
my muse roamed in reverie
on wings of cadence to fly
beguiled in your starry sky.
With longing words set anew,
I composed a song for you.

Plum blooms coated the lawn floor,
Swept from trees by wind abhor
Stars ne'er root me much concern
I'm quite taut with Earth discern
Stars, as blooms, are grand to glance
That display crowns a drudge stance
A sprout holds a wealth insight
I deem beat to view fruits sight.
Unaware of who we are,
it’s clear we’ve drifted afar,
insentient to God’s light,
glowing within, day and night.
To this end, our will we bend,
that in silence, we ascend,
simply melding head with heart,
feeling bliss ignition start.
Ego dies, we become wise,
truth of Self then realise,
dancing with love cheek to cheek,
that we are he, who we seek.
