An Unseen Tapestry, Woven In Stars Retreating Backwards Into Time

Imagine an alternate universe, one born in the reverse rhythm of our own Big Bang.

In this cosmos, the arrow of time flows backward, not as a regression but as an elegant symmetry, a dance of retreating possibilities.

Galaxies do not expand into the void but instead coalesce, condensing into radiant singularities, the luminous echoes of futures we can never reach.

Here, light emerges only to fold inward, its journey truncated before it graces the expanse.

It is a universe hidden from us not by distance alone, but by the very nature of its existence—its glow always arriving too late, its truths eternally just beyond our grasp.

Yet, even unseen, such a realm invites awe.
It suggests that reality is not a single thread but a cosmic loom, weaving countless tapestries in both directions of time.

It is a humbling thought, a reminder that the cosmos, vast and intricate, may hold infinities we can sense only in the whispers of our dim imagination.

Alternate Universe

The women sing songs to the moon,
Praising its beauty.
They dance and sing when it’s in its full glow,
Their souls ascending and descending,
Transformed into priestesses.

The men venture into the forest at twilight every fortnight.
There, an unveiling and a revealing take place.
The spirits commune with them in the tranquil ambience,
Warning them about any impending danger,
Sharing mysteries that are soon to enter their territory.
The men become gifted watchmen.

Something astonishing happens with the sun.
At midday, it beams its rays on a vast meadow,
Where the plants are exuberantly green.
These are called the Blessed Bloom,
An elixir of vitality and rejuvenation.

The atmosphere is clean and fresh.
There is no conflict between humans and machines,
No exploitation of nature,
No encroaching on her space.
The leash has not taken the lead.

I asked to know where I am,
And I met a stranger who looked familiar.
He said I’m in an unsoiled place,
An unaltered place,
An alternate universe.

A world arises as dryad clusters of interlaced oysteruos flair umbrellas fairies from sunburst orb piercing rays. Vast umbra fae churn soil into a sea of plush fungi filigree in midst fields blanketed with lush evergreen forestry. Highland's spore-bearing rush wild, elevating charm. The gloaming illumination, an alternate universe climaxes as Jinns grant wishes to intermesh the electric event, an
aesthetic landscape
        strawberry capped stems with white
              polka dot sprinkles!
                     pixie’s apple bright garden

Belonging

The alternate universe is expanding within me.

Some things are starting to feel familiar.

Not my family- no they are all wrong.

I’m pulling away from their hugs.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice enough, and I wish them the best.

I forgot the dishes again, and they are disappointed.

But I’m not their real daughter, so it doesn’t matter.

Yes.

I’m not their real daughter.

So why would they care?

Checking out our Halloween faces
We are simply happy to be in good graces
The ghosts are out, and they are laughing like loons.
I see the beauty of both of our harvest moons.

Yes, this is an alternate universe with extra stuff.
We have scarecrows that roar, and lions that are never rough.
We have witches and goblins, but they go trick-or-treat.
We see it all happen on this planet with a beat.

There is music flowing and words are prancing.
Halloween parties with candy, and horses are dancing.
Check out our Halloween faces. We are excited to be.

Tv Adverts

Is it just me

Or do you as well

Watch the commercials on T.V

And wonder exactly what on earth
it is they are actually trying to sell

Or are you like me somehow think
we have slipped into some kind of
alternate universe

Because I am sure I just seen the new
Lottery advert

And it was about a village green cricket
match with the team dressed in traditional
Whites

Then the Presenter comes on ready to
bat kitted out from top to toe in Red ,

Helmet , Bat , Pads , Glove's the full monty

Now as tenuous links and connections go
this is the best and only idea I could come
up with

Maybe at the initial meeting to thrash
out some concepts and ideas

The leader of the brain's trust was swinging
a bat around and accidentally hit everyone
in the head including himself

Causing mass amnesia and concussion

And when they all eventually came too
they forgot what product they were
supposed to be selling in the 1st place

And somehow thought it was a brilliant
fantastical idea

You and I

I reflect in simple writing
that gets the burden off my chest,
you reflect in extraordinary experiences
which on being narrated leave me speechless

I live on the roadside
in a room rented from the squire,
you live in a palace
where even chandeliers have sapphires

I stand in a train
packed like sardines in a can,
you stand beside a well
which is a wish granting factory for those without a plan

I sit in a cubicle
where even a broken clock is not enough to make the day come to a halt,
you sit on a hammock
where the only thing that changes with time is the kalt

you are a part of the world
where you can go away to Hawaii to discover yourself,
I am a part of the world
where Cinderella can only pray to get her elves

you are in an alternate universe
dying on a hospital bed- thanking everyone and reminiscing your childhood,
I am here
dying every day on the inside - suppressing my passion for a livelihood

now that your time is up
 you’re on national television,
what about me?
when mine is over will they talk about my determination?

I Wish You Could See Me

I Wish you could see Me
Back Then,
Filled With Silence
Unheard and Unafraid.

Voices then knew no Shouting
Feelings were not something to be escaped.

In such world of closeness
I was in;
A alternate universe it seems,
I wish you could see
the first steps I had taken,
hitting to the
fallbacks I didn’t Believe.

Those tears which were not
carried forever in the heart,
those lonely smiles for
timeless situations I was a part.

I wish you Could See Meback then ,
Amidst those wilderness of dawn.
Filled with Present
and Working Hard.
I wish you could Know me
Better than I am ;
straight through my Eyes
of the enduring past.

I wish you could see Me
walking by
Those empty streets,
escaping those busy roads.
Coz that’s where I come from
and persona I truly belong.

I wish you could meet Me
from the time back then.

If I Weren'T Afraid, I'D

Put on some wings and
Fly out into the universe
To look at the twinkling stars and
Visit every planet especially Mars

If I weren’t afraid, I’d
Take a nap on the milky way
Cutter up on Saturn’s rings and
Take a long ride on the North star

If I weren’t afraid, I’d travel through time
Visit the alternate universe and
Look at my future to
See what it has to offer

If I weren’t afraid

Backwards

in an alternate universe, everything is different but still quite the same.

in another world, we are born from unmarked graves and only named when we die.

in another world, i am aware of how slick and easy your words are, how everything you touch withers away, and i don’t fall in love with you, regardless.

in another world, i am neither the tin-man nor the scarecrow, and definitely not the lion.

which is to say, i fight back, and make my voice heard.
which is to say, i have a brain and use it.
which is to say, i have a heart, and you’re not in it.

here, in this universe, you cannot be found in the lines of the poems i write,
cannot be heard like an insistent ringing in my head,
cannot be seen behind my eyelids every time they close.

as backwards as it is, you aren’t in the lines of every song i’ve ever dedicated to you,
aren’t present in the night sky like the stars i said i’d pick for you,
not even caring that my hands would burn.

here, the sun does shine brighter than you,
the moon doesn’t smile for you,
and neither do i.

baby, the metaphors here, they don’t fit you.
(here’s to hoping they never will, again.)

Amazing Love

And that amazing feeling
     Runs deep to chest cavities
   A look in your eyes
     I run out of brevities

   Alternate universe spiralling within them
I find missing essence of soul
  Mapping starry emotions for you
    Have my unfounded stories whole

  Inundated in hues of rainbows
   From love's sixteen dew drops
  I dance in the rain
In staggered tempo my heart throbs

  Life's delighted trouvaille
   Found as needle in haystack
 In me you pour light
  Through edges of my cracks

  To sound of my silence
    You added laced melody
  Song my heart missed
You sing in my dreams velvety

Cave of Wonder

I set sail in a boat

And rowed into a cave

I needed to find myself a getaway

A place of solitude where I can still my mind

Away from hustle and bustle of life

I sit in my little boat in this big cave

Sheltered from the oceans mighty waves

Illuminated by glow worms upon high

The water is still as I am inside

I listen to the sounds of water lapping lazily on rock

The slight echo as the boat rocks

As I sit and watch the glow worms

Create an alternate universe

As if they are stars, I feel in turn somehow lost

But now found again in this darkness

I embrace the isolation like and friend

I glance down at the water as it is mirroring

The cosmic display that the glow worms share

I feel carried away as I am meditating

And I imagine what a wondrous place this earth could be

If this peace I found here could reach out

To all humanity

And heal the wounds, the suffering and hurt

This isolation in this cave really shows its worth

Developing my consciousness

Helping me grow

And this meditation

Helps the seeds of love to be sown.

Alternate Reality (MJH 17 April ’18)

Maybe in an alternate universe,
Where good is bad and better’s worse,
I could be you, you could be me,
Together apart, sadly happy.
You’d pursue me, I’d flee from you.
Yes you’d pursue me and I’d flee from you,
‘cause I know that I’d be caught by you.

Perhaps in a wondrous macrocosm,
We’d share everything in common.
You’d finish things I’d start to say,
But we’d laugh about it anyway.
Time would not be our enemy.
No, time would never be our enemy-
I’d be part of you; you’d be part of me.

By chance there is another dimension
Beyond earthly comprehension
Where past, present and future blend;
Time has no beginning nor end.
I’d say “I love you” with laughter.
Yes I would say “I love you” with laughter—
Said so before, will say so after.

In some hypothetical reality,
Beyond conceptuality,
Where nothing is circumstantial--
Matter’s almost insubstantial.
Separate bodies, united minds-
Yes, separate bodies and united minds-
Our souls forever intertwined
