Alternator World

Your world
My world
Alternate universe
No
Alternative perspective
Alternator
Charge
Conduit
Your world is the alternator that holds the charge to power my voice to become a conduit of alternative perspective. This is simply because your world is the same as my world. It is our world. We simply live adjoined, yet divided by alternate perspectives.

If I Weren'T Afraid, I'D

Put on some wings and
Fly out into the universe
To look at the twinkling stars and
Visit every planet especially Mars

If I weren’t afraid, I’d
Take a nap on the milky way
Cutter up on Saturn’s rings and
Take a long ride on the North star

If I weren’t afraid, I’d travel through time
Visit the alternate universe and
Look at my future to
See what it has to offer

If I weren’t afraid

Belonging

The alternate universe is expanding within me.

Some things are starting to feel familiar.

Not my family- no they are all wrong.

I’m pulling away from their hugs.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice enough, and I wish them the best.

I forgot the dishes again, and they are disappointed.

But I’m not their real daughter, so it doesn’t matter.

Yes.

I’m not their real daughter.

So why would they care?
