I remember the air raid drills
Sitting tight against the concrete wall
Hands folded behind bowed and cowlicked heads
waiting for the "all clear" call.
While the menacing RED BEAR
stalked our innocents up and down the icy hall.
In Southern hemisphere,'
Winter flowing past here,
At Jack Frost we peer,'
Happy smiles do appear,
Winter sunshine is sheer,
Roses need a pruning shear,
Moonlit nights all clear,
Not much snow this year,
Not a ski bunny, dear,
Drought is what we fear,
Of farmers' plight we hear,
Send more rain in our sphere,
Looks like El Nino gear.
Don't ask me how I'm feeling
Just wait another day
Moon and Mars are turning
They have much more to say
Don't leave me in the evening
Willing waiting for a sky like
A truth a tune a writing
That says more than goodbye
I'll tell you what I'm seeing
Doors from that past all closed
Like them and me and meeting
With why and when with those
I'll tell that there's sorrows
With the rain all clear to see
You and they are speaking
A weeping willow tree of me
I'll be here in the morning
And the truth be told with words
The thing that always missing
Is what I saw and felt and heard
Don't tell me that your caring
With a silence clear as day
All and all it's what I'm seeing
Is that we'll have much more to say
There's days and years all passing
Like you did that when I was gone
So I'll say it's a Happy's Ending
And just turn the tune's your song
Always answer always fail me
The hurts the hits the test
Just let me tell you quickly
Loving you was always best!
Lost in the Green Maze
[Verse 1]
Lost in the woods, where shadows creep,
Whispers of secrets that only the trees keep,
Woody surroundings haunting my mind,
In this green maze, what will I find?
Pay off a lien, let all clear, lost in the forest, I miss you my dear.
[Chorus]
Scream out loud, let the silence break,
Stings of the past, every move I make,
Lost in the vibes, where time stands still,
Nature’s embrace, bending to will.
[Verse 2]
Supreme visions dance in the air,
Beneath the leaves, there’s a weight to bear,
Fiend for adventure, cannot hit rewind,
Chasing the echoes, future aligned.
See the Dean, but where’s the end?
Lost again, the need for an outstretched hand.
[Outro]
Finding my path, let the journey speak,
In this greenish realm, my soul’s unique.
The Owl-Father was asked many questions that year
Others did not make a move unless he gave the all-clear
Which one is he? The little yellow chick asked me.
He’s the pompous one standing straight up in that tree.
She flew up and waited for her turn to ask a favor of him.
He blustered and blathered, and turned his pocket watch in.
Staring at her through his monocle, he threw his weight around.
To her credit, she waited for a yes, before flying back down.
I know it looks all clear,
But can we wait till the man is green?
I want to know that when you go,
You won’t be leaving me.
You were only across the road,
But now you’re going down the street,
Further and further and further.
I feel like I might as well go back home.
I feel like I might as well go home
So I can stand at the crossing till the man is green
And visit the field around the block
Where I’ve always been.
Can you wait till I’m buckled in
Before you start to drive?
In fact, can you wait till I’ve found the seatbelt
Before you turn the engine on?
Can
Rudolph, the leader of Santa's reindeer,
adjusted his nose and gave the all clear
to steer Santa well with his braced flashlight.
But one Christmas Eve, he sneezed during flight!

“LIGHTNING STRIKES JETLINER SULFERLY”
The Jetliner was flying through a violent storm
This is the norm at times
The Jetliner originated from Los Angeles enroute to Chicago
A fierce lightning bolt sheared through the side of the air craft
The captain managed to maneuver the air craft
However, there was some damage
All the passengers were shaken up
Some were insured during the ordeal
The captain radioed the nearest airport
It was Dallas-Fort Worth Airport
The captain wanted to make an emergency landing
The Dallas-Fort Worth Control Tower told the captain that the runway was all clear for his descend
The Medical and Emergency team quickly went to runway 5 for the air craft
The captain had the Jetliner wheels down and turned towards Dallas-Fort Worth
The plane landed safe
Some of the passengers were taken to nearby hospitals
While others refused medical attention
Lightning bolt impact damage
Luckily no deaths were reported and everyone survived
Survival chapter
I see a clearing
It's big enough to land in
The grass is short
No rocks or bumps
It's all clear for landing
My heart beats in panic
Tears of sweat run down my face
Fear grips my body
In expectant embrace
The engine splutters and coughs
Bangs erupt from broken wings
I hear my own screams
The smoke is acrid in flared nostrils
My flesh burning, stinks
Ah! I savour a touchdown, touche!
Another sunny day out for me
Fishing is where I will be
I load up my car with my fishing gear
And I will go and see if the lake is all clear
I add a worm to my fishing pole
Catching a big fish is my goal
Last year the fishing wasn't so great
But if I don't catch one today I will hate
Maybe if I go back to my favorite spot
I will still have a real shot
I throw my line way out into the lake
All I'm asking is for a break
The next thing I knew I got a nibble
My fishing line kept on wiggling
The fish gave me a big fight
But the fish was still not in my sight
I started to reel in my fishing line
All I can think of is this fish is mine
I got my fishing line back on land
But I don't understand
Well that fish was gone, but it gave me a lot of fun
All I wanted to do was just catch one
So for fishing today I'm all done
Wait, bus driver. Look over your shoulder.
Do you see any kid sleeping? Nope? Check.
Walk to the back and take a look. All clear?
Checked under the seats? No luck? Check.
Can you hear any faint movements? No?
Proceed, you're the only human on the bus.

Miracle Man

Thunder began filling the Heavens with noise,
and occasionally, lightening would crack.
A tornado warning had stolen my poise,
and at that precise moment the sky turned black.
It was just a brief moment and it had passed,
a rainbow and damage was all I could see.
The tornado siren gave an all clear blast,
I escaped major damage-God heard my plea.
New year, cold beer
Cold beer, Bronx cheer
Bronx cheer, high gear
High gear, all clear
All clear, frontier
Frontier, sharp spear
Sharp spear, blood smear
Blood smear, kill deer
Kill deer, pure fear
Pure fear ~
Get outta here
I am asked for the access code that will expire 15 minutes after
behind the curtains
someone is nervously tapping their foot on the floor
creaking
I'm waiting in my imaginary world,
even though I haven't been for a long time
I created my reasons and opinions
if longing cannot create spaces in between
then who creates so much space between the suspension points..
with them it's all clear...
those who are healing will need
room to rest
if
their last words were not:
God, how do I step over this maze?!
maybe they still haven't decided which labyrinth would be preferred
in the place of greenery too many shadows been gathered
some walk in their hands
some walk in their heads
others walk in their soul
if I tell someone else the password of my imaginary
world,
after which ellipsis points
will got hit by the
REALITY?
Its just me, I Can’t be still.
You gotta understand I Never will.
There’s a need to roam,
But I will keep coming home.
Deep in my soul while I travel,
I have to be free, thoughts unravel.
Crazy thoughts, being free.
It’s really me, so release me.
Bright sun in the world outside.
So never will I need to hide.
Lord, oh Spirit in the sky.
Unleash my chains, please don’t deny.
Always wandering I’m a solitary man.
No, I will never lose who I am.
Greif is part of me, fear can attack.
Solid I will stay, I won’t look back.
I was born, all the fear is gone.
Wanderlust inside me I can carry on.
Nothin shallow, feeling strong.
Through the glass to sing my song.
Wanderlust day and all night long.
I cast my shadow being strong I must.
Through the window its left in the dust.
The remnants of my sorrow.
It will be all clear tomorrow.
Like a tumble weed I will travel on.
Yes now all fear is absolved and gone.
Left behind discarded in the dust.
Now just me and my wanderlust.
