New Year, Cold Beer

  New year, cold beer
    Cold beer, Bronx cheer

  Bronx cheer, high gear
    High gear, all clear

  All clear, frontier
    Frontier, sharp spear

  Sharp spear, blood smear
    Blood smear, kill deer

  Kill deer, pure fear
    Pure fear ~
        Get outta here

Good poem in a slightly weird way. But weird worked for Poe and it works well here. I enjoyed reading it with the surprise ending.

I felt this poem was a bit weird too, Hilda. Glad you confirmed it. Either we're both geniuses, or ---- no there is only one side of this story. ~ The Two Steins: Ein Stein un Ein Stein iz Tvei Stein

Loved it, my friend. You'll get no Bronx cheer for this one.
