Brackish lichen forms a raft upon the pond,
a low haze floats like a moored airship.
Small frogs chirrup sotto-voce
as if they were
dreaming sparrows.
Water birds dabble in their sleep.
Soon the sun
will dash across a drop of dew
bursting dams of light.
A fisherman in his truck
drinks his coffee,
rubs his eyes and smacks his lips.
He grabs rod and tackle,
hopes fat fish are lazily
rising.
Feathers shake off waterlogged shadows,
wings slap the groggy face of the pond,
ripples splash up
to rinse the air.
Coots and Plover call
until the water
awakes.
Have you ever imagined the feeling
Of soaring above the clouds
Only the breeze between you and the earth
Away from the bustling crowds
With the occasional sound of the fiery blast
That keeps your airship afloat
An oh so peaceful, heavenly solitude
As you sail this celestial boat
Imagine the absolute total serenity
As you take in the breathtaking view
Corn fields that go on forever and ever
Mountains that reach for the blue
Drifting skyward on a gentle breeze
Over the clouds you soar
A feeling of serenity and inner peace
Emanates from every pore
Return to Your Roots
After Rami
Be a lantern
shining through my dreams,
the star I reach for
before falling asleep.
Be an airship
that carries me from dimension
to dimension in my search
for everlasting life.
Be the stairway
between realities of a world
without you
and the stratosphere within your embrace.
Be aware
of your surroundings and know
that you are the sun within each person
you encounter and the essence of your soul is their hope.
Have you ever imagined the feeling
Of soaring above the clouds
Only the breeze between you and the earth
Away from the bustling crowds
With the occasional sound of the fiery blast
That keeps your airship afloat
An oh so peaceful, heavenly solitude
As you sail this celestial boat

Would anybody again board a ship
In which he'd shaken hands with hardship
Luckily saved by God we worship
Nearly the sharks joined from a flag ship?
Would one for the sake of kinship
Try the riskier journey of Airship
For a life to whom goes ownership
Or might one forfeit one's clear headship?
For God's sake let's shun every vessel
That makes one with oddest life wrestle.
the airship came suspiciously close to my face
I flicked it away as if it was a bug but it kept coming
had I even touched it? no. I had felt air, not metal.
why is it still following me? what does it want?
Why don’t you ask? suggested my internal voice.
Who are you? What do you want from me.
Just a little compassion, a voice said.
I realized at that second, it was my voice.
No, new beginning
There is an enormous hole on the surface of Mars
the biggest hole in the solar system, so gigantic
One can put mount Everest into the hole and
there would be a place for many more mountains.
At the bottom, there is oxygen enough, to sustain
plants, a lake, palm trees, yes, even fruit trees
and animal life-like friendly, glowing serpents.
For millions of years, this Martian paradise had
existed till a long, lost airship, slowly descended
Most of the spaceship’s crew had perished but
for a couple, the ship landed with a bang so
loud, fish flew out of the lake and palm trees
Shook and lost leaves and paper tigers aborted.
A new Adam& Eve story? not quite
The female astronaut, a man who had transited
to a woman who preferred to use the pronoun them
the male astronaut was a man who thought he
was born into the wrong body, and with this, a new
beginning wore a skirt of a banana skin.
In the end, two old men, who kept a creature
looking like a dog and askew by other animals
because of their clinging nature as a company;
without a God there was no miracle, therefore
no new beginning.
Science fiction stuff has nothing on me
I have created a prototype I call 67R-V
It is a plane that takes me to every fantasy
I think of a place, and I am whisked to thee
The 67R-V is amazing, it gives me great pride.
It’s a one-woman airship; no other will it abide.
You can beg and plead and cheer and chide, but….
The 67R-V gives me goosebumps and the best ride!
I love it that no one else is allowed on board.
The 67R-V is always looking to the future toward.
Sometimes I wear my armor and take my sword.
For you never know what imagination we will accord.
In My Bible had not feared An Angel;
If he got the chance would put one in jail
Hadn’t they been A Group he once headed
And why would he judge his powers faded?
One could again charge at whom one had ruled
And not at all think one had oneself fooled…
Any surprise he’d accosted Michael
In Jude ready with him to go to Hell;
Over Dead Moses stating ownership
A catch-up speed with Michael’s Airship
From Armed Michael, still “The Lord rebukes thee”
No entry into sword fights; “Just flee!”
“Or else Lord God you dread and dodge you’ll meet
And he shan’t fail to you make a mincemeat!”
The same we see in Zechariah,
Satan, A Volunteering Crier
Against Joshua, High Priest of Obvious Sin
Ignoring present Angels Fat and Thin
Himself positioning for Attack
On Joshua with Spiritual Lack
And then God’s “I rebuke thee” from heaven
And Satan’s legs became wings of raven.
I
Never one to shackle one with the past
Yet humans use words to distort
Time, our guilt or responsibility
In that sense, the Past is a scapegoat
An escape route, and inconsistent ally:
If one has/ had parents, one has a past
And we give it life with our names ...
When we use any names, biological
Or anthropological, or political (Malcolm X)
The past is deployed - a battleship of peace and war
II
God has a Past (faithfulness) yet is timeless
Not shackled by time; the Passover
Cannot be passed over or passed by
Even as Past History of Hebrews escaping
Egypt, superpower of the day
If you have skeletons you're hiding
You may say LET the PAST BURY ITSELF
It can't be done
Face it, repent, and enjoy PRESENT Presents
Of a cleaner conscience, trust, open relationships
The PAST is the (steamship or) airship
That brought you here: face this time with truth
Have you ever imagined the feeling

Only the breeze between you and earth

Emanates from every pore
upon
the
airship wingspan
where
the yellow beak
herring gulls
drift
in nautical miles
and
touch the fingertips of
ocean waves
without
fear or doubt
but
rejoice in it
with
constant jubilee
where
they dwell
in
peace harmony
and
kinship
above water
above land
oh
heavenly father
praise God
