Il Suicidio Di Dio, 22-02-2012

…

Vi racconterò una storia triste,
ma purtroppo necessaria:
tratta di colui che animò la terra
soffiandoci dentro dell’aria.

Nel suo progetto
ci avrebbe reso gli esseri supremi.
Non sapeva l’avremmo tradito
diventando gli esseri più estremi.

È bello sentirsi Dei;
soprattutto se si è pochi e meschini:
Lui ci ha creato il mondo
e noi abbiamo creato i confini.

L’hanno sostituito.
Dicevano di parlare in sua vece.
E non

Premium MemberLike A Bone Beach - 2012

The highlights of the Jersey Shore
like a bone beach, they were no more
along with the loved Ferris Wheel
that kids looked forward to with zeal.

The sounds of music, loud and clear
along the boardwalk, all would hear,
and to the Wheel, the kids would run;
   for generations-

2012

I wished for love to come and find me and that’s how our story began
You invaded my world with your charm and understanding heart
I knew you were different from the start
We had many ups and downs, with a few bad falls
Just being with you, we have been thru it all
You listened without any judgment

Reunion, May 2012, the Village

Through the ravages of time
Those youthful faces appear
As friendship and memory
Erases the damage of years.
The conversations continue
As though never broken
Just an extended break until
The next words were spoken.
We all drink the same drinks
Though they cost a lot more
And the room has changed
They’ve moved the door
Thre pub doubled in size
But we are seeing it
Through

Reunion, May 2012

The village has grown bigger
The way that villages do
Parts have been demolished
And parts of it are new.
The Hotel has expanded,
Very little is the same,
Except the warm atmosphere
And they’ve kept the name.

Nearly fifty years gone since
We were last together there,
Faces changed and wrinkled
And some have lost their hair.
But, these aging bodies house
Minds that are

Priory Woods June 2012

It's like a traditional meadow,
Mixed grasses tossed and blown
Bobbing and swaying until the day
It's high and ready to be mown.
There are thistles, buttercups, clover,
Such a mixture to make a tasty hay
I do hope it won't be wasted come
That eventual harvest day.
The little Hawthorn sapling
Has blossomed a shade of
Of pink or maybe even red
Am not

Priory Woods March 2012

Not a wood yet, just sapling trees
with the circle of friends around,
mostly plots still unfilled but here
and there a freshly turned mound.

And it’s here she rests
where she asked to be
under wide open skies
and the shade of a tree.
And it is such a peaceful place,
a pleasant walk
when I visit every week and
just sit and talk.
There is

im a bathtub full of luke warm water.
tic tac toe in red crayon on the kids menu
mom never lets me win.
itching the mosquito bites on my legs.
eating frosted flakes out of the box
sugar gets stuck in my nails.
morning eyes that never go away
no matter how much you rub them.

Comm Day 2012

Any excuse to skip
class was good enough for me.
"Senioritis" was hitting me hard,
plus, it was gonna be a good time
hangin' with my TV Production 2 classmates.

  hosted the event,

Broken Dreams Bended Knee June 1, 2012

broken dreams, bended knee
Black or white, you and me
Seven minutes of pain-free again
Goodbye my life it was insane
The promised land has failed us all
Dreams have gone, we'll still walk tall
We stand united to fight the fight
United together we'll make it right
Human rights and color blind
We're gonna win and save
