Contest Description

What's in a name? Choose ONE name and write about the meaning of that name. For example, David means "beloved," so I could write about how David exemplifies that characteristic (along with other positive characteristics if you wish.) You can use my poem "Goodbye Love" for an example. (I haven't written a name one yet.) For the ACROSTIC word you can choose either the name OR the meaning of the name. For example: B E L O V E D or D A V I D. Someone brought to my attention that it wouldn't be anonymous if you chose your own name, so in that case, CHOOSE A LOVED ONES NAME OR THE MEANING OF YOUR NAME without mentioning your name. I'm okay with old poems if they're in theme with the contest. This is my first contest, so be patient with me. I'm not sure yet how many placements there will be. Have fun!
